Nancy Grimson Remington has spent the previous twenty years running from her past. Now, it's caught up to her and she must face the truth.
Ten years ago, Nancy Grimson met the handsome and successful Neal Remington in Bangkok, Thailand. It was a whirlwind romance, one that found her back on Martha's Vineyard, Neal's home, to become a stepmom to Elsa and Carmella and help Neal with the Katama Lodge and Wellness Spa.
Earlier this year, Neal passed away, and earlier this summer, her estranged daughter, Janine, came back into her life after heartache of her own. It's been a whirlwind of changes and Nancy continues to reel with pain and sorrow, even alongside her gratefulness.
But summer is over. And with the end of summer, Nancy finds herself facing elements of her past that she thought she'd outrun.
Meanwhile, autumn on Martha's Vineyard is glorious and blue-skied. Janine's daughter and Nancy's granddaughter, Maggie, marries the love of her life, and Janine's ex-husband and ex-best friend come to the island for the immaculate and very expensive "wedding of the century."
Will Nancy find peace after decades of tumultuous? And what's next in her beautiful life? Will she be brave enough to carve out something new or is everything over at fifty-nine?

This who.e series is wonderful. I've gotten to know the characters and feel that I am there with them as they go through life. Katie writes real people, scenarios, and does it extremely well. Love her books
This book in the Katama Bay series focuses on 59 year old Nancy’s story. Nancy continues to mourn the loss of her husband Neal, while she and the daughters work to continue working at the Katama Bay Wellness Spa.
Granddaughter, Maggie’s wedding takes place and there Is definitely tension between Janine and her ex Jack. Nancy is determined to live life to the fullest, continuing to support her daughter, stepdaughters, and granddaughters in spite of concerns about her health. She secretly visits the doctor and is waiting for test results. Nancy continues to regret some of her past decisions and choices.
Meanwhile the island faces danger from the devastating arrival of hurricane Janine.
Thank you to the author for an ARC. This review is my honest opinion.
Personally would love to see Jack hurt physically, mentally and emotionally. Not a fan of him and his horrible treatment to Janine. Also hoping to see a future for Nancy and Maddox. Love this series. Enjoy Katie's style of writing and am following along in this series and have finished several other series by her. Looking forward to next book and preordered it already
In this Katama Bay story we get a full fell for Nancy! Having lost her husband, reopened the Wellness Lodge, what’s next for Nancy?
We also finally have Maggie’s wedding where Nancy meets a fun & handsome stranger. Is this a new beau?
Nancy is feeling very poorly throughout the book. Is she sick? At 59 is this all she gets? Through this sickness scare, she works to develop her relationship with Carmella & strengthen her relationship with Janine & Elsa.
It’s a beautiful summer in Martha’s Vineyard! As fall approaches so does a hurricane, lots is revealed about the characters through their isolation in the safe house! You don’t want to miss this story!
I don’t know how she does it, but Katie Winters delivers a kick-ass read every single time! Autumn Secrets does NOT disappoint…it’s got a killer storyline, awesome characters, and another one of those HEAs that makes you super hungry for the NEXT book in the series! Don’t let this one get by you—grab a copy today!! (I voluntarily reviewed advance reader copy of this book and absolutely loved it!) ❤️
Autumn Secrets centers on 59-year-old Nancy, a widow who helps run the Katama Lodge and Wellness Spa with her daughter and step-daughters. She still mourns the loss of her husband Neal. I really relished the focus on an "older" woman. Life can be so difficult, but people can overcome their past mistakes. Nancy faces a possible illness, a difficult and checkered past, and a devastating tropical storm. I always appreciate Katie Winters' juxtaposition of joy and sadness and the message of hope in her stories. I loved this book..
I love all of Katie winters books and this was no difference. It was so great being able to learn more about Nancy and the women of the Katama Lodge. The wedding of Maggie and seeing how they all get thru the hurricane was just good story telling. Every time I read one of Katie winters books I want to visit the vineyard more and I want to keep reading more of her books.
Free ARC provided in exchange for an honest review
The Katama Bay Spa is still going strong but in this book they are preparing for Maggie’s wedding as a hurricane is threatening Nantucket. They get the wedding done but then have to evacuate all the guests at the Spa due to the hurricane. Lots going on in this one. Good story. Thank you Katie Winters for the ARC for this one. Also, Nancy has a medical issue.
A wedding, a hurricane, and more drama then you can imagine. Moving on after loss, mending relationships and welcoming new ones. I continue to enjoy the stories of Katama Bay. I received this ARC for an honest review.
A wedding with drama, potential life threatening illness, and a hurricane. Would you expect anything less during the autumn season in Martha’s Vineyard?
The more I read Nancy’s story the more understanding I am of her. She has lived a hard life and made some less than ideal decisions but she has learned along the way.
