Audrey Williams fled her small, Lowcountry hometown at eighteen. Desperate to leave behind her mother and her past. Her new life doesn’t know about her old one.
She hasn’t returned for ten years. Until now. Her younger sister asked her to be part of her wedding, and she said yes. The one person she never expected to see is the green-eyed boy, she left behind, broken-hearted. Like the proverbial moth, she is drawn into his flame as deeply as she resists him.
Can she get out of her head and live again? Is their past too big an obstacle? Is she brave enough?
A hopeless romantic with a dash of cynicism; Tina has spent most of her life immersed in romance fiction genres. She began writing her teen angst as poetry in economics class in high school. She is a feminist, writer, mother, and amateur home baker. As a voracious reader, Tina is always looking for something comfortable, yet different to sink into, and loves to receive recommendations from friends and fans.
This is a first book by a new author, so if your looking to get in beginning what a great book to start with. This book was very emotional for me. I cried a few times( signs of a fantastic book) I laughed. I learned things I didn’t know. This book was just a joy to read.
This is a well written second chance romance with a strong cast of characters in Audrey and Austin. It's a slow burn and emotional romance when she comes back for her stepsister's wedding and meet up again. The author does a fantastic job building their story and had me glued to the pages from start to finish. She takes you on an emotional roller coaster ride as she brings all the feels in this heartwarming read. She paints her scenes perfectly with the emotions coming through the pages. I loved reading their story and highly recommend this book.

I thoroughly enjoyed this second chance romance! There were lots of twists and turns in what could easily have been a "woe is me" story, but the female main character Audrey is smart, strong, and capable. She deals with the challenges of family, a tragedy, and a past lover with thoughtful introspection and savvy. Audrey is a sexually confident woman, and the slow burn and eventual sex is hot!
This book earned the FEMINIST SPICE CLUB designation which rewards authors who create empowered and sexually confident female characters.
This is a beautiful second chance romance by a first time author and I was really drawn to the story. The heroine, Audrey, is tough as nails and I rooted for her from the first page. Austin, the male main character, is swoon-worthy and I loved how supportive he was of Audrey after so much time had passed. Their shared heartache is a conflict they strive to overcome and it was beautiful to see their happy ending. A great rainy day read for romance lovers!
What a great story I couldn’t put it down! Audrey has come back to town for her stepsister’s wedding but it brings with it a lot of memories and heartbreak. Audrey is trying but seeing Austin the love of her life is really hard because with him come the memories but he wants to make them work but Audrey is reluctant. This story was so consuming and I felt every emotion Audrey had and I am so happy it wasn’t a cliffhanger. I will be looking for more books from this author.
Thoughts:Will add more to review later. I wasn't able to fully get into this book, so I am leaving this as my current review but will attempt a re-read later.
Hang on to your seat, this emotional roller-coaster is full of heart break and a deeper love of two who lost everything yet gained everything.... loved this book
Tina Evans' Finding Home is an emotionally charged second chance romance.
Is it possible to get away from your past? Would you return to face the people you left?
I was taken on an emotional roller-coaster from the first page. The storyline was powerful, the characters were believable, and the story felt very real to me.

I always love a good second chance story, but this one did not hit the mark for me. I wanted a bit of angst and even some antagonism between Audrey and Austin, but instead, it was mostly just a lot of mutual pining and self sabotaging on Audrey’s behalf. If anything, it was kind of dull because Austin was green flag energy all the way and Audrey just strung him along and was a bit selfish about it, to the point where I wasn’t sure if I could keep rooting for her although I did support her need for independence. I get that she had deep seated issues and went through a horrible loss and tragedy. Those kinds of circumstances can break a person and divide a relationship. This book definitely reads like a debut with the way the author introduces Audrey’s friend group and tries to promote each of the girls and their bond and girl power success so that the reader is aware there are future storylines brewing, but there’s not any actual depth to them yet although they play the proper cheerleader roles for Audrey.
It's so nice to read about two persons Audrey and Austin they are teenage lovers and they like lived so many things together but they broke each other's heart and life was not a good you know like a good experiment for them and Audrey's mother was so f***** up and made her is so traumas and so bad memories so Audrey leaves the town and after 10 years this story starts like she gets and meet Austin and there goes the drama and they find that they still love each other and what they are going to do and you know like that continue the story telling the end they end up together and loving each other so much and trying to heal from the trauma I liked it it's a cute read and it's a short book actually but yeah it's fine you know like it's fun

This is a debut from this author, and she has done an incredible job in weaving this storyline, and I will certainly be looking out for her work in the future. Aubrey is returning to her small hometown after 10-years, for her younger sisters’ wedding. Austin is the one she left behind, and broke both their hearts, but what will happen when they cross paths? This is a well written story which is an emotional roller-coaster, small-town romance, with heartbreak, family, twists, humor, tragedy, challenges, second chances, and love, which leads to a steamy and entertaining page tuner. This story touched my heart and had me cheering for Audrey. She had a difficult upbringing but persevered none the less. Returning back home opens up old wounds but brings her and Austin back together. Will they rekindle the love they had and will this time around lead them to a happily ever after?
