There’s a special kind of emotional whiplash that happens when the man you’ve been quietly (okay, not quietly) fantasising about for a decade suddenly appears at your brother’s wedding looking like a walking romance‑novel cover and greeting you with a “Hello Grace” in that New Zealand accent that could liquefy your spine. Hayden Frost doesn’t just show up — he materialises like the universe finally got sick of your sexual tension and decided to intervene personally.

Grace is out here trying to survive the world’s most chaotic wedding day, freshly volun‑told into maid‑of‑honor duty, when she gets paired with the one man who has single‑handedly ruined her ability to be normal around men. And the way he smirks at her? The way his eyes light up like he’s been waiting for this exact moment? It’s the kind of energy that makes you want to lie down on the floor and scream into the carpet.

And then the universe says “oh, you thought THAT was trouble?” and sticks them in a house together for ten nights with twin baby nieces who have the audacity to be adorable while Grace is trying not to combust every time Hayden breathes in her direction. this dr baby story was just okay. Dr. Hayden and Grace were so close but emotionally miles apart for years. His best friend and Her brother’s wedding brings their attraction to a head. Grace being a virgin at almost 3o should have turned this into a comedic parody.Instead, Grace’s violent potty mouth exemplified the years of sexual depravation she endured 🤣 still had to wait too long for it to happen in book and it was a bit anti climatic. Randomly placed between babysitting duties. I did like the Denver locale and cute kids thrown in

I usually love this author, but Hayden is a douche, and truthfully I felt like there was no chemistry between him and Grace. The ending felt rushed and I didn’t feel like they loved each other, I mean they went weeks without even talking and then just show up and everything is good.

Surprised by Love

Grace Anderson and her older brother Ryan spent their childhood and youth in New Zealand, only relocating with their family to Colorado as older teens. It is always funny what they say about opposites attracting, right? Well Grace and Hayden could not be opposite in more ways. Grace has always had somewhat of a crush on her older brothers best friend but of course nothing she would ever engage in for too many reasons for her to say. Now she finds herself face to face with having to walk down the aisle with him as a last minute stand in for the maid of honor at her brothers wedding and is less than thrilled. How will she survive being around him for so long. Hayden, is not only an accomplished cardiologist but he is quite the ladies man, always hooking up with different women and not seeing a problem with it. Now he finds himself at his best friend Ryan’s wedding and finds out he will be walking down the aisle with Grace, Ryan’s little sister. Looking at her for the first time in years he sees how beautiful she is and realizes he should not be having thoughts about her that way. You can see from the dry beginning that bantering between these two is hilarious and is a sign of the even hotter chemistry they have going on. The real question only becomes when will they break down the walls and stop resisting one another. So the chance comes when the are asked to watch Ryan and Carly’s twins while they go on their honeymoon. Due to an unforeseen emergency with their nanny they need some help from friends and family or they will have to cancel their trip. So of course Grace and Hayden agree with lots of reluctance. How hard can it be, right? Who would know taking care of the girls is the easy part, resisting each other is another story. The question is if the sparks fly between the two of them, will things become so awkward that they can’t go back to the way they were? Will this be just the opportunity they need to lead to something more for them? What if is is so explosive that there is no going back? How will things turn out for them. The dynamic between these two and of course two cuties they were watching keep you on your toes all the way to the end and it has an interesting ending all it’s own, so you will be turning the pages all the way there.

Now with her brother getting married, Grace is being paired with him at the wedding. He is now a renowned cardiologist and a player when it comes to the ladies. One night stands are the norm for him, and while he is happy his friend is getting married and has adorable twin girls, he doesn’t see marriage or kids in his own future. Grace is irate that he is making a play for a woman at her brother’s wedding, but denies even to herself that she is jealous. Hayden knows she is ticked at him and even irritates her further just to rile her up some more. When he sees her all dressed for the wedding, he suddenly acknowledges to himself that she is stunning and he wants her, but she is taboo because of his friendship with her brother. When Hayden and Grace are called upon to look after her brother’s twin toddler daughters while her brother and new wife go on their honeymoon, neither say no. The forced proximity heightens their desire for each other, and when Grace reveals a secret in a fit of pique, Hayden’s control slips and the two indulge in a very passionate night together. He doesn’t understand why Grace seems unusually distant and aloof in the following days, not realizing that she feels she was just another one night stand. Even after another very steamy and passionate night together, Hayden and Grace are right back to their normal, very little contact lives after the happy couple return from their honeymoon and babysitting is no longer necessary. For once, Hayden is feeling that he wants something more with a woman, with Grace, and is unsure of how to proceed. Neither can get each other out of their minds or hearts. What happens next? Wow. Oh. Wow. Doctor Hayden Frost labeled as the world’s cockiest cardiologist has known Grace Anderson since she was a very young girl she is the younger sister of his very best friend another top of his field doctor anyway Hayden has always had a soft spot in his heart for Grace that has actually grown throughout the years for Grace but he has always felt “best friends little sister - OFF LIMITS!! So the two meet up again at her brothers wedding as Grace is the Maid of Honor and Hayden is the best Man Hayden realizes that Grace has grown into the most beautiful woman he has ever seen. Before the walk down the isle preceding the ceremony the two share some jibs back and forth seems thats what they’ve always done. After the ceremony Grace steps out to get some fresh air and Hayden later wanders out, finds Grace and they end up having their first kiss which throws them both off kilter. Next Grace and Hayden find themselves together staying at Ryan and Carly’s house sitting with their twin girls for 10 days while they go away on their honeymoon. As you can guess neither one Hayden or Grace expected that their feelings for each other would turn into anything. They end up having a couple of nights of wild passion. Can Grace forgive Haydens wild and crazy past? Will they be able to admit they indeed have something that keep growing for each other that really has always been there? Will Hayden step up to the plate when Grace share’s what happened from their time at Ryan and Carly’s? I really enjoyed Hayden and Grace’s story their chemistry was red hot it just seemed inevitable and as plain as the nose on your face that they should be together. As with all the previous books in the Doctor’s of Denver Series once you start reading you absolutely cannot put them down until you get to the last page, and they are the kind of stories that make you feel good, happy kinds of story’s that we all need that leave you with a smile on your face. Knocked up by the New Zealand Doctor: A Surprise Pregnancy Romance (Doctors of Denver)

I adore everything KC Crowne! I love her Reverse Harem books because I love that most of them are all about polyamory and I love reading about that. The Doctors of Denver series is about hot docs both male and female who meet up with someone in all different ways. In this case, Hayden is Ryan's best mate from New Zealand. Grace is Ryan's kid sister and the aunt to his and Carly's twins. Grace has had a thing for Hayden for forever but she can't stand how he hits on everyone. At the wedding after already hitting on a girl, he turns around kisses Grace and calls it a mistake. She was so angry and hurt for awhile. Her friend helped her. Especially since the two had agreed to watch the twins for a week. Ryan and Carly did not even not the tension between them. After she talked to her roommate, she came in that first day completely changed. They were doing well with the girls and her roommate set her up for a blind date. She was hurt Hayden encouraged it. Right before leaving he gave the guy a hard time. The guy was a jerk and she came home upset. She started blaming it on him. Until it came out she was a Virgin and was that way because she was always waiting for him.
He took her upstairs to his room right away. It was amazingly erotic.
What happens next is your guess? Actually Read it. It is great. You have to find out what else happens!

Brother’s best friend off-limits, enemies-to-lovers story. When your friend’s little sister turns more and more into a beautiful woman every time you see her, the only way to keep feelings and natural reactions at bay is to get into the habit of making crude jokes and continue treating her as if you hadn’t noticed the changes. After all, when her brother is your best friend, she is totally off-limits. That is Hayden’s stance on the matter. That’s all very well when you are in your 20s. but when you are almost pushing 40, perhaps that is taking things a bit too far. Grace is beside herself that Hayden is such a jerk. At almost 30, and still a virgin, she is still waiting for him to notice her. Hayden’s mixed signals make Grace too angry for words. When they are entrusted to look after Grace’s twin nieces, the unthinkable happens, leading to a permanent reminder to their time together. This was a witty, well-written book with well-described characters. For me, Hayden’s attitude and behaviour, given he is an almost 40-year-old cardiac surgeon seemed over the top. Also, I felt that towards the end, the storyline run out of momentum. Nevertheless, I do love a happy ending and I am sure others will do too.

This is a follow on from the last story.
It is the story of Grace and Hayden. Grace is the sister of Ryan from the last book and Hayden who is best friends with Ryan.
It starts at the wedding of Ryan and Carly, Grace is the maid of honor and Hayden is the best man. They have known each other for years as they grew up together.
Carly has had a crush on Hayden since she was a teenager, but he has never thought of her as anything other than his friends little sister. But Carly knows nothing can happen between her and Hayden as he is not the type of guy who wants to settle down.
When her brother and sister-in-laws childcare plans go wrong before they go on honeymoon, Grace and Hayden are asked to help out with babysitting.
Spending time with each other allows their feelings for each other to come out and after an argument where Grace admits her feelings for Hayden they end up spending the evening together. But their time together has ended up with an unexpected coincidence, one that Grace thinks she will be dealing with on her own.

I really enjoyed this book, another great read from this author. I would definitely recommend reading this book.

This story follows Dr. Hayden Frost and Grace Anderson, who we meet in book 5 of the Doctors of Denver Series. Hayden is cocky, but he has reason to be. A top cardiologist who's handsome and sexy with a great sense of humor, but hasn't been snatched up yet. Grace has had a crush on him since forever and decides she wants him to be her first. They have known each other for years so you might think this is a great idea. However, he's her brother's best friend. (Bro Code) They do the deed, but then try to act as though it was no big deal although it was what they had both been dreaming about and wanted for a while. After Grace finds out she's pregnant, she tells Hayden and lets him know she doesn't expect him to step up. During this heartfelt conversation they both reveal their love and realize that this is the best thing to happen to them.
I enjoyed this story and was happy to read about Carly and Ryan's (Book 5) wedding. Their twins are sooo precious. It's always a good thing to read about and get updates on previous characters who we fell in love with.
I can't wait to read about Logan, if there will be a book about him.
This story was well written, funny and sweet with a HEA.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Grace Anderson and Hayden Frost. When this book opens we find Grace and Hayden at the wedding of Carly & Ryan (you met them in Doctor's Baby Plan). Grace at the last minute as sister of the groom steps in when Carly's best friend is in an accident and can't be her maid of honor. Little did she know she would be walking down the isle with the man whore himself Hayden. It's not that she is jealousy, she's not and she'll even tell you so. It's just she always though if there was a way she would have him be her first. Hayden can't believe seeing Grace after all these years how much she has changed. Now he can't seem to get his mind of the one woman he knows is off-limits. He is sure his best friend/her brother really wouldn't approve of the thoughts he is having towards her. One kiss is all it takes to show them both what they are feeling is real and one kiss to have them both running in the opposite direction. Can these two have a HEA or is it just one mistaken kiss?

Amazing Story. Characters grab you from the first word and won't let go. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Another fantastic book by a fantastic author, loved this story! Grace meets Hayden again, her brothers best friend and despite her attraction to him she realises he still hasn’t changed his playboy ways. No matter when Grace sees him he always irritates her with his ways so when Grace finds out she has to spend ten days with him babysitting her twin nieces she’s not sure how she will cope with him, or the growing attraction she has to him. Hayden can’t believe how much Grace has changed and how attracted he is to her, however he knows nothing can happen between them as she is his best friends sister, but when passion takes over things change very quickly. After they spend the night together they both try to put it behind them as a one off but when the sparks fly between them again they can’t resist. When their time of babysitting is up Hayden feels regretful that he won’t see Grace as much, and the more time apart he is from her the more he realises he loves her. Grace however has a life changing surprise for Hayden, and she isn’t sure how he will react. A great storyline with lots of laughs, amazing chemistry and a love story. Great book!

Dieses Buch enthält einen leichten Schreibstil und wird mit einer wechselnden Erzählperspektive beider Protagonisten erzählt.

Die Geschichte ist unterhaltsam, leider erlitt das Buch jedoch auch einen großen Dämpfer, denn die Übersetzung war nicht einwandfrei, weswegen einige Sätze oft verwirrend waren und den Gunor dämpfen.

Auch die Glaubwürdigkeit der Protagonisten kommt nicht wirklich rüber. Grace ist von anfang an in Haydan verliebt, doch sie gibt es nicht mal in sich selbst zu und fragt sich dennoch warum sie immer nur Haydan sieht. Ehrlich gesagt, wer merkt nach all den Jahren nicht, das er in jemanden verliebt ist?
Haydan dagegen hat nie was anderes in Grace gesehen als die kleine Schwester seines besten Freundes, obwohl ihm durchaus bewusst ist das Grace ihm mehr bedeutet als das, sondern eher richtung Freundschaft tendiert.... bis hier hin akzeptabel. Aber das er dann plötzlich Hals über Kopf in Grace verliebt ist und er sofort eine Beziehung will... das ist unglaubwürdig und viel zu schnell.

Die Familien der beiden fand ich in jeder Hinsicht super. Besonders Ryan mochte ich weil er für Grace da war als sie unsicher war wegen der ganzen Situation.

Ein Buch für zwischendurch, jedoch ohne tiefe und glaubhaften Momenten.

Grace and Hayden grew together, for the most part. Ryan, her brother, is the friend of the mouthy man named Hayden. Always making fun of Grace. Grace tried to get him to notice her. No, he just wanted to play. Never wanting to settle down, Hayden just couldn't help but insult Grace at Ryan's wedding during a toast to the bride and groom. Trying to keep it together, Grace slips away, to get away from Hayden. He knows he made a mistake. He has to make it right with Grace. Every step to correct the mistakes, the more he makes, until he kisses Grace. It was a mistake, a big one. Ryan will hurt him if he finds out that Hayden kissed his little sister.

Hayden and Grace could only argue when they were near each other. They had been doing it as long as anyone could remember. Hayden was Grace's brother, Ryan's best friend. Grace had had a crush on Hayden since she was about twelve years old, and now they were being asked to be maid of honor and best man at Ryan and Carly's wedding. Unfortunately, that did not turn out at all well, and then the next they knew Ryan and Carly were asking them to babysit their twins while they went on their honeymoon. There was no way Hayden and Grace could turn them down no matter how much they wanted to, so they were stuck together for ten days taking care of Lily and Rose. To bad they really did care deeply for each other. They were to stubborn to admit how they felt for fear the other one did not feel that way. They never stopped to think things through about each other. They had tremendous electrifying chemistry together. This was a longer story with lots of twists and turns to hold your interest with both humor and seriousness. This is one you will not want to miss.

Another great book in the series. You can read it as a standalone but it would be so much better if you would read it after reading the series the doctors of Denver. How can you not love Grace. She’s funny, sexy, down to earth, she teaches Zumba classes at a gym, and she has been in love with Hayden since she was old enough to know. Hayden has always known about Grace, he teased her constantly growing up. And she is his best friends sister. Now she is all grown up and turned into a beautiful woman that he cannot keep his eyes off of. Fate seems to have played a part in the two of them being stuck together while watching Grace’s nieces. Even though they are cute and funny the twins are a handful. Still left plenty of time for Hayden and Grace. Their relationship was a long time in coming, and it seems everybody knew it but them. And now Grace has a secret she hast to tell Hayden. Will it make their relationship better or worse. Hayden has not seen Grace in a few weeks now and has come to realize how important she is to him, and now she wants to talk to him. This conversation should be interesting.

One thing leads to another, and Hayden catches on that he really has feelings for Grace. Is it too late for them after he kind of walks away from their time together?

Grace finds out some surprises of her own after their short time together has left her with a gift. Will her news to Hayden help them get to a future together, or leave them
even further apart?

I loved this nook, and I can’t wait for more!!!!

This book was brilliant and I loved everything about it, it was funny, exciting, laugh out loud, drama and of course love and just to make it more interesting let’s throw in a virgin and a pregnancy as well. Grace Anderson has come to the wedding of her brother Ryan to Carly and Ryan’s best friend Hayden is there and when they are close together all her fantasy about him come rushing forward and she has trouble focusing. Now with the maid of honor out due to and injury Grace is asked to fill in and that brings her together with Hayden who is the best man and is gorgeous and the biggest playboy she knows and should stay away but fate has other plans and the two of them are brought together to look after the twins Lily and Rose because the nanny can only watch them during the day so now they have night duty and well they see a different side to each other and lines get crossed and now a baby is on the way. Can they have the happy ending everyone else does or does it all fall apart.

This book is for me the least convincing in the series I have read so far.
Hayden - the hot cardiologist - and Grace have known each other since they were kids.
She has had a crush on him since her youth, and he has always given her a hard time.
There’s some competition going on as well between these two about who can make the other’s life the hardest, but that somehow changes when Grace’s brother asks both of them to take care of their twins while he and his wife are on their honeymoon.
Well, guess what, they become ‘friends with benefits’, she loses her V-card, they have hot sex and … tada; she is pregnant …
I think the build up takes too long, there are too many side stories that take up a lot of time to tell and when the main characters finally decide to be together the book is over.
I’d have loved to have a bit more sizzle between the main characters.

This book brings us Hayden and Gracie. Hayden is Gracie's brother's best friend and a cardiologist. He is also known as a playboy, who goes through women constantly. Gracie has always had a "thing" for Hayden, even though he still calls her kid, which she hates. They have come together as Best Man and Maid of Honor for her brother's wedding. However, everything that comes out of Hayden's mouth, just infuriates Gracie, especially when he flirts with other women. One night, something comes over Hayden and he kisses Gracie. He is ashamed of himself, even though he can't get that kiss out of his mind. Same goes for Gracie, but now they are babysitting her brother's twin girls as they go on their honeymoon. Finally, the chemistry reaches its plateau, and they give into their feelings. And then a very large surprise happens. This was a great read and I highly recommend it. I did receive an arc for an honest review.

Hayden is a cocky dr from New Zealand and best friends with Grace’s brother.
They grew up together and he always teased her in a good natured way but it niggled at Grace. The problem was that when Grace became old enough to be attracted to boys she realised that she had it bad for Hayden.
She had always dreamt of him being her first but he never saw her as anything other than his best friends little sister until he got old enough to realise just what a beautiful woman she’d grown up to be.
Asked to babysit Carly and Ryan’s twins together, while they went on their honeymoon, they found themselves becoming closer….
This was a really enjoyable read in this excellent series. Their chemistry was heated and it was lovely to see their relationship transform into something different, albeit reluctantly at first. Superb.

This story is so interesting and a bit different and I enjoyed every bit of it. This is the fifth story in the "Doctors of Denver" series. It is a stand alone read with wonderful characters; expect for the psycho. Carly is a teacher raising her younger brother and struggling a bit. Her friends talks her into going out on a blind date for Valentine's Day. Ryan is a doctor who found his ex cheating on him. Now he has decided he wants to start a family without a mother. He has a plan to find a surrogate. Ryan is happens to be at the same restaurant as Carly. He has been stood up by his buddy. Carly and Ryan meet and end up having dinner together. The attraction and chemistry is there from the very beginning. He asks her if she will be his surrogate. Things getting interesting from there. This is such a good and fun read with some drama, excitement, tragedy, danger, suspense, passion and good twists and turns.

My problem is not so much with the story or the characters

I genuinely did not like Hayden, and can’t imagine a personality such as Grace’s, would like him either.
The story was fine, that point aside.
My problem, as is often the case, was with the horrendous writing. One would think things such as basic grammar would be one of the most necessary tools of the trade for a writer.
Evidently one would be wrong. Here’s a tip—deciding if the correct choice in a sentence is ‘—and me’, or ‘—and I’ is simplicity itself. Just remove the first name in the sentence, and the right answer will be clear. You’re welcome. Rarely, if indeed even once, was the correct choice used in this book.
If bad grammar, misspelled words, typos and such are an annoyance to you, as a reader, you might want to pass on this one. It’s chocked-full of all of them.
If you just gloss over them, unruffled, your likelihood of enjoying it stands a much greater chance.

Breaking The Brocode For Love -
Hayden is a playboy, whose modus operandi is to love em and leave em satisfied. Grace on the other hand doesn’t usually date, as she has been crushing on Hayden for years. There has been such a strong connection between them since they were in their teens, but they continued to dance around each other, that is until they were placed in a situation where their will power failed to keep them apart. Their sexual chemistry was off the charts hot, which will leave you quivering in your seat and their back and forth banter, will have you flustered, but still wanting more.

This is a book that should be read after you have carved out a dew uninterrupted hours, because once you start reading, you won’t be able to stop until you finish.

This one is a goodie. It is best friends sister trope as well as secret baby. So lets meet Grace and Hayden. Now Hayden is Grace's brother best friend. He is a heart doctor so we know he is smart. Now add good looking to the gorgeous brain and you may have a cocky man. However, Hayden has secretly been crushing on Grace. It was like one day he say her differently. So Grace has always had a crush on on Hayden since she was able to like boys. These two are always bickering about something. It could be due to many things but neither addresses the attraction. So as fate has decided that these two will be her next conquest she manages to put them together by watching her nieces. Now what could possible happen now that they are both under the same roof. Well I can say that it does get steamy. Their secrets are revealed and no one gets hurt. So yes we get a happily ever after.

They have not always gotten along even with him being her longtime crush. They are opposites when it comes to sexual experiences but all it takes is one kiss at the wedding. When they are thrown together at the last minute to care for the girls things get complicated. He realizes that she is more than just a girl he gave a hard time to. She realizes that he is not just the playboy she has known. Grace and Hayden get a chance to have an unexpected family together. I enjoyed the characters and their story. I thought it was well written and good addition to the series

Grace always though he would be the perfect first for her and spending so much time together pushes both to give into their chemistry. But can that connection be more than the 10 days or will it be more. Add in a surprise neither expected after their time together and who knows what will happen!
