Reviews

[Nathan Harris]

True to the Text. Lots of quotables. He can be very exhaustive in his applications, which can be nice in places where an application is not as apparent. Enjoyed it greatly.

[Joyce Wheeler]

This book was a great study and a fascinating journey into the culture and history of the early church. The practical wisdom that John MacArthur gleaned from each verse has added a new dimension in my own walk with Christ. I highly recommend it to all serious Bible scholars who are ready to put on the whole armor of God. MacArthur's explanation of many complex issues is a rewarding read.

Amazing!

John MacArthur is a national treasure. His entire New Testament Commentary series is a must have for serious Bible study.

An excellent resource on Ephesians. I only had minor squabbles that aren't worth getting into here. Recommended for your use in Ephesians.

This commentary is based on his decades-long preaching ministry. Very thorough. The sections on alcohol and music were very helpful. The exposition on chapter 1 is phenomental. Thank God for faithful ministers like Johnny Mac!
