SIGMA

Rate this book
"SIGMA – as life sums it all" is first of the books in the author’s trilogy on Karmic behavior. This is a collection of fast-paced short stories that are inspired by real characters in the author’s life – the kin and the dear ones who broke away from the path of righteousness! SIGMA is his first work of fiction, but the driver in this book remains the same as his previous technical books – analysing and working on (managing) the ‘cause’ to improve the ‘effect’! Philosophically, SIGMA is about the cause & effect relationship between the intent & deeds (cause) and its Karmic retributions during an individual’s lifetime (effect)! The author believes that when you see your acts, and the reckonings thereof, in a short time-window, you will tend to take short-cuts. But when you would stretch the reference time duration of reconciliation to a full life-time, you would realise why one should always be virtuous.

SIGMA as life sums it all
Author of Pankaj Lochan, well written the short story are inspired by true people and events of our life in the preceding years. Actually SIGMA is a Greek letter that is commonly used to represent a sun of multiple terms or items. There are 7 stories arranged in this book. The first story Manikarnika Ghat, the fire is chaste but burns the bad, and the too ...! The good returns to you, but the bad still burns! Prasoon Banerjee is the main character of this story. First conversation with Prasoon started his bike engine to go Brij leapt out in to the veranda shouting, Prasoon showed him the acceleration prowess of his Yamaha RX100. I liked these scenes like movie. Earlier years, Varanasi, next house neighbour and much younger to him,Prasoon closely during his youth. He was a brilliant sight to watch in the cricket field. There was a quarrel during the cricket match and parents intervened. Author family tells not to be like Prasoon. The author looks at the events of Prasoon"s life in the same way.

Richternach you got there in fear but lived in faith now don't breach the faith. To get over the fear. Echternach was gearing up for the International Music Festival. Patrick the main character. Very interesting characters and eventful story. The last story The Gains - you think you grew from the gains you made but did you not lose the few you left behind? For your gain or less shall always sum up in end and what you did will come back a full circle.
All of these stories have exemplary messages and ideas that are pretty much fun and emotionally like is the movie. Soft language for ease way to read. Variety cover name so good. I am glad you read this book. I recommend you friends

This book involves seven short but not-so-short stories.📖 They all have one comman aspect - Karma.😯 I am sure many of us believe in Karma and the great Geeta said by Lord Krishna also mentions about the principles of Karma.✔️

I liked two stories the most. One about an arrogant and rude guy called Prasoon.🙎🏻‍♂️ I have observed about these one and only sons. They are like star of their parents' eyes.😒 The parents do everything these so called boys say but this habit make them think that the world is also like this.🤷🏻‍♀️ They should achieve anything they wish at any cost. And this thought make them devil.👿 So this guy Prasoon never behaved well with his subordinates or colleagues or anyone trying to be like him. And Karma hit him hard and his son got the same thing.😦 How? That you will get to know in the story.💁🏻‍♀️

Second story I liked was about a couple Subrata and Moumita.👫 Moumita was not a good lady and always having some evil plans to get her work done🙄 and Subrata also became like this and he did something bad to his senior to get his place.☹️ But accountant of Karma knows everything and makes sure to repay the same.💯

All stories are very well narrated.👌 It keeps the reader hooked. The concept about Karma is wonderful.👏 The characters are well developed.👥 The language is lucid. It's recommended to the readers looking for something extraordinary to read.👍

According to the author, ‘SIGMA’ is a belief that goodness received in life comes only in lieu of the goodness sent out. This means that there is a Cause and Effect relationship in everything we encounter. If we do something nice for others, then there is definitely good things that will be coming our way as well.

When we do these deeds, we should not be focusing on the short term goals, but rather be focusing on the larger picture.

However, the main motive of doing this shouldn't be that we will recieve something in return, but rather should come out of the goodness of our heart.

The book Sigma by Pankaj Lochan enumerates the same beliefs in form of a variety of short story lines whose main focus is giving the readers insight of real people, thereby giving valuable life lessons.

Though each story was remarkable in their own way, the one which was my personal favorite and I'm sure will be popular with the other readers as well, was the short story: Stranger.

The seven short stories were each distinct and different from one another, however they had one similar trait in between them which beautifully threaded the book together into one story. Hence I'm going to give this FIVE SIGMA STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The one almighty concept that everyone believes in is the encredible cycke if 'Karma'. The topic does not needs any introduction what it needs is realization and acceptance. Inspite of knowing the result we hope for the good result and that negative hope strikes back in the form of Karma. 'Sigma' by Pankaj Lochan is a vivid collection of seven short mighty stories with a cluster of experiences and results integrated with in the pages. Author has included the taste of real life events sprinkled over his work with his reali life characters adding soul to the masterpiece. Author through all his stories revolves around the realization of the concept of Karma and elaborates the toxicity of the results for negative one. The book explains how the good deeds fetch you the positive results but the negative one burns you in instalments again and again. I have tried some other books of the author too and I must say author has tried something out of his own trend successfully. He exagrating way of narration and a decent tittle wrapped under light and truely attracting cover makes the piece eye catching. It is a highly recommended book by my side.

This is a collection of short stories inspired from some real life incidents and penned together by the author.

The word 'SIGMA' more or less implies the Karmic cycle, that is 'Karma always comes back to you in one way or the other' or in other words every 'effect' is a result of some 'cause'. Personally I really believe in this too. So I was already interested in the topic and that is what made me dive into this book.

The stories are quite relatable. We can see such things happening in our lives or with people around us. If not in a direct way, then indirectly, what we do today will surely come back us some day. Whether good or bad. Lets say our effort today pays back one day or our laziness today could cost us something someday.

The book is  a one time read. Its philosophical( something I definitely love and connect to). It doesn't necessarily give one particular message but theres sure something we'd get to learn reading this bunch. The narration is smooth and the language used is simple making it easy for begginners out thrre too. So you can go for the book if you're out for something interesting.

🌸
"Sigma- as life sums it all" by Pankaj Lochan is a collection of seven short stories based on real characters in the author's life. The theme behind the book is KARMA. Karma as we know has no menu. You get served what you deserve.
🌸
The main motive behind the book is what author experiences in his real life about Karma. It started from "Manikarnika Ghat" to "The Gains" every single page was worth reading and inspiring.
🌸
Few lines which I love the most and found relatable to me were,
" The pains that are known, are often not all that are felt!
Behind your successes sometimes, lie considered failures of some, who love you more than themselves, and let you be, what you want to be! "
🌸
Now coming on the book cover, its sober and peaceful. The language used throughout is simple and basic. The narration is apt. The plot in all the stories is based on real life incidents in author's life. The characters are strong.
🌸
I am not much into short stories but I will love to recommend this book because it is really worth reading and it gives a touch of reality.

🎗The book is beautifully put together.
The author has put in a lot of effort into introducing everyday characters who are important to our everyday lifestyle, and has done a fantastic job of depicting the cause and effect link.

🎗It contains a collection of short stories that depict how karma works in people's lives. All of these stories are incredibly realistic, and we may come across many such people in our daily lives who are in a hurry to satisfy their own selfish demands or who have already been victimised by their karma.

🎗The finest part of the book is that you can relate to each story and character in some way or have had similar experiences. It prompts you to consider the advantages and disadvantages of your daily actions and interactions with others.

🎗Overall, a realistic depiction of a person, their actions, and their society, as well as how they are linked to their Karma. Recommended...!!

Sigma ... as life sums it all.

It is a collection of short stories. Each story is set in a different place. The stories involve incidents of some really cruel people. The central theme of this book is based on Karma.

These are stories of ego, selfishness and cruelty. Here some people have been their worst selves.
These people are so bad that karma has to intervene and punish them because their misdeeds are so magnanimous.
I felt sad for a lot of these victims but in the end, truth always triumphs.

Some stories were longer than the others and it became a little boring sometimes.
After a few stories, it became obvious that the culprit is going to get punished. It lost its novelty after a while.
However, it was fun reading all these stories and I recommend this book to everyone.

There is an important message to learn from this book. The message is that we should become blind in our ego and ambition to completely forget who was hurting on the way.

Sigma is a collection of stories that tell the story of KARMA of human existence. The very first story "Manikarnika Ghat" posits the truth of life. The integrated theme and concept of cause & effects are further extended with other stories in different background and place.

The author seems to put best effort in first story but other stories should have been written in more artistic manner. But still the justification of situation about life has been portrayed in the stories in interesting way that would convince the readers to believe in.

Language is very simple and should have been much better to engage the psyche of the readers. But overall, the collection would establish a refine perception in readers about the karma theory. It is suggested to read for getting some interesting facts of our surroundings in fanciful manner.

Sigma: As life sums it all by Pankaj Lochan🌸
This book is an incredible amalgamation of 7 short stories that's inspired by true events and events. These stories are about the behaviour, feelings and deeds of people around us and their Karmic reckonings.

The writing and storyline is beguiling and soul stirring, each story had a dizzying intense effect and captures slice of life.

I am quite surprised by how much I loved it, the stories makes you reflect on Karmic behaviour and effects, nature's balance and meaning of life. It's made me feel not necessarily good and happy feelings but had a deep and intense effect.
I strongly believe in karma and this book solidified my beliefs.

Looking for a memorable and meaning read that will keep you completely hooked then pick this book up.

Sigma is a book with seven wonderfully written stories based on human psychology and karma and how everything that goes also comes around.

This is a collection of fast-paced short stories that are inspired by real characters in the author’s life – the kin and the dear ones who broke away from the path of righteousness.

All the stories are very well written with amazing insights into human behaviour. All the characters are relatable and very well developed and portrayed.

MY favourite from this collection would be the very first one. The story revolves around a boy who has short temper issues and how everyone around him suffers because of it and how karma comes back to him. While every other story is equally well written, this one had quite an effect on me.

Overall, it is a very fine read.

Do you people believe in Karma?? Do you think before doing anything, like what does this action give in return to me. Karma is a Boomerang. Author has said about this in the form of amazing stories.

It's collection of short stories relating to the impact of Karma on individuals life. It's all relatable story showing the emotions like sorrow, jealous. The characters are amazingly developed. The way the plot proceeded made me curious to read the book.

I loved the concept of the book. It's has given a useful message, doing good deeds in return brings good and doing bad deeds in return bring bad. The stories are very authentically written by author.

It's easy to read. The stories are short and crisp. It's very engaging and gripping read. The plot is in good phase and I would say this is insightful read. I recommend this book to all readers, it's very compelling read.

The word Sigma means a life sums it all.

The book is a collection of short stories. Each story is set in a different location. The stories are about the incidents of cruelty by the people. And the book revolves around the theme Karma.

The stories are having emotions of ego, selfishness and cruelty. As there is a saying when there something crossed its limits there is end of it, same goes with the cruelty. There is always a end of something. And some people doesn't understand this thing and then the Karma has to intervene, to give them a lesson.

Basically all the stories are about the Victims and the wrong doers and how the karma plays its role and punishes the culprit. Some stories are lengthy but interesting so one can read and enjoy. Language is simple too. Overall a good read.

BOOK NAME: SIGMA as life sums it all
AUTHOR NAME: PANKAJ LOCHAN
RATING : 5/5

The book is composed incredibly well. The creator has worked really hard of introducing day by day characters who are essential for our every day biological system and has depicted the reason and impact relationship wonderfully.

I was not into short stories but rather somebody alluded the book to me, and I began perusing "The Manikarnika Ghat" in the wake of a monotonous day at work. I was so much held by the story that I completed the book in one go. All accounts are unique but combine into one topic - Life entireties everything! In every story, the characters were relatable but interesting.

An unquestionable requirement read for fiction darlings!

What is the main thing that appears everywhere to a person who does wrong things or wrong doings?? Its nothing but "Hazard".It appears everywhere and these 7 stories in which this book tells about is totally about these Hazard in which we observe in our daily life. The writers are keeping us in our mind and writing these type of stories in which we get most inspired by reading those. A very good inspired book makes us learn about something which changes our perspective of thinking. Not all can change, but atleast one person can change by reading this book and that one person can also be me. I really loved the writing style used in this book and the 7 quotes involved are very useful for one to follow. You can opt this book for better man performance.

This is a first book of karmic behavior trilogy. The book is a collection of seven short stories inspired by real-life incidents. The central theme of the book is based on "karma". What you do, comes back to you, whether it is good or bad. As you sow, so you reap.

I really love this book, each story is written well with life lessons and teaches you a lot of valuable life lessons. There's a natural law of karma that vindictive people, who go out of their way to hurt others, will end up broke and alone.

The book is written in a clear manner, the author has done a great job. Writing style is simple yet impactful, cover is pretty. A must read for everyone. Eagerly waiting for the next part of the trilogy!

Sigma is a beautiful collection of 7 short stories based on the concept of role of Karma in our lives. Author Pankaj Lochan has done a great work which touched my heart.

All stories and distinct and unique however the moral is same i.e. "jaise Ko taisa." Language of book is simply understandable and natural. All stories seems to be real and one can easily relate with them.

I liked the story of Abhi " The gains " the most. It depicts that sometimes our biggest Gains turned out to be the greatest losses and then nothing left in our hands. One can only do remorse.

All stories are amazingly written and alluring. A decent work and worth read

" Words are easily said and cannot be unsaid if you regret later on saying something you should not have said in the first place"

This book has a varied collection of stories, mainly based on the concept of Karma. There are different instances where one experiences this and comes to believe in it. All the stories are set in different situations and have different ways of showcasing Karma.

The stories were all pragmatic and was something we come across in our daily life. It was not difficult to connect with them and it's very well written with descriptions about the place and the characters background. The message was well conveyed in each of them and overall it was a good read.

We all have heard a sentence as a sarcasm that Karma is a bitch. What good you do in your life but have to repent for your wrong deeds.
This is the book 1 from the Karmic behaviour Triology. Where you can find seven short stories which are not really stories but lessons which will develop your thinking process of your karmic behaviour. Even after lot of warnings people tend to do the wrong things to achieve their goal in a short time amd Don't understand the large sum of life. I never read the author's perception in any book but i don't know why i read from this one and liked the way he and his wife tried to make people understand about the sigma. A very good initiative and waiting for the second and the third book eagerly.

This book manages the effect and activity of Karma in our lives. It causes an individual to introspect his own life and deeds and makes a chain of contemplated their activity.

The seven short stories in this book gives you a reasonable thought regarding the results of the everyday work and activities that we perform.

How individuals treat you is their Karma, and how you respond is yours.

Very average book. Short stories signifying you reap what you sow. How bad deeds will eventually catch up. The stories were quite simplistic in my view with not much depth. Only one story (second one) was pretty interesting. The writing style was also very basic with limited emotions.
