Phil! What a sweet and shockingly smart lil boy. I love him. How energetic and positive.

These kids are so smart but, more than that, they're brave and they care so much about each other. They will do whatever it takes to save each other. It has me tearing up consistently.

No sabía exactamente qué esperarme de este tomo. La palabra no es decepcionado, es ansioso. Estaba deseando que pasaran muchas más cosas que las que terminaron pasando, aunque habiendo leído ya las dos siguientes entregas entiendo lo importante de este tomo número 5.

En The Promised Neverland 5 encontramos el primer contacto de los chicos de GF House con el mundo 'exterior'. Conocemos un poco más del entorno, de cómo funcionan las granjas (aunque aún queda mucho por descubrir), y se nos acerca un poco más a la figura de los demonios.



Es un tomo con mucha más acción y aventuras, no tan 'intelectual' como las primeras cuatro entregas. Sin embargo, sí hay un atisbo de esos giros en la trama que hacen a este manga tan bueno en las primeras páginas. Muy bien llevados, además. La sensación general que tengo con este tomo es que es un tomo puente entre el primer arco y el siguiente, algo que se confirma en cuanto comienzas a leer el tomo 7.

En resumidas cuentas, esta quinta entrega nos presenta el inicio de un nuevo viaje, con grandes escenas de acción, persecuciones, y estrategias una vez los protagonistas han conseguido huir de su granja. Desde este momento, todo lo que se viene pilla por sorpresa porque por fin vamos a conocer la realidad del mundo de The Promised Neverland.

Aquí se termina por fin el primer arco de esta atrapante historia y por si fuera poco, inicia de una el segundo arco argumental que te va dando pequeños bocaditos del mundo que falta por explorar.

Solo sé que se acercan más persecuciones, estrategias, acción y ojalá, espero que más plot twits como los que se han dado anteriormente.

ISABELLA. 😪👏🏼 I knew she wasn’t a total bitch. The moment when she realizes something about Ray. Heartbreaking. I’ll be rooting for her.
So apparently, the outside world is full of danger. No shit.
The kids are proving themselves to be surprisingly competent so far. I’m VERY proud.
Anyways, tell me more about that girl now. 👀🔍

چپتر سی و هفت که می شه تا اواسط این ولوم مطابقه با پایان فصل اول انیمه.
این تیکه یک توییست فوق العده داشت که باعث شد نسبت به پایانش سخت گیری نکنم و پنج رو بدم
از اینجا کم کم اطلاعات داره داده می شه و داستان گسترده شده و داره به جزییات می پردازه

It's 2046? Woah, awesome! Storyline has taken another splendid turn and the escapees of Grace Field have no clue what dangers lie ahead and how to overcome them. They've absolutely zero knowledge about the outside world and their enemies. That's scary! Still they're running for their lives trying to keep their group safe from demons and the wild. The characters have grown very much since the first volume. This manga series is perfect for the spooky season. 🙀

Julio fue un mes muy movido (literalmente: me mudé a una nueva vivienda), con mucho trabajo y exámenes de maestría, así que no pude dedicarme mucho a la lectura. Pensé adecuado retomar esta serie. El quinto volumen empieza justo donde terminó el anterior: en medio de la fuga de los niños del hogar/granja/campo de concentración de Grace Field House.
No creo que cuente como spoiler deccir (pero por si acaso, si no quieren saber nada más, dejen de leer, repito dejen de leer aquí) que Emma, Ray y los demás tienen éxito. Consiguen escapar. De no ser así, la trama terminaría en un parpadeo. Lo sorpresivo es el método que usan para hacerlo.
Pero la fuga en realidad, es solo el principio de algo más. Como cualquier prófugo de una cárcel sabe, lo difícil no es salir: es sobrevivir en el exterior, en particular en un entorno del que saben poco y nada y que ha cambiado de manera tan profunda que está irreconocible, y con perseguidores que los cazan como un granjero que persigue a sus vacas fugadas de mayor calidad.
¿Qué les espera en el exterior? ¿Cómo ha cambiado el mundo? Me muero de ganas de leer el siguiente volumen.
Este volumen, además, trae una revelación tremenda sobre la relación de dos personajes. Y le agrega matices al personaje de Isabella. Por momentos psicótica, por momentos vulnerable, no la podemos terminar de encasillar como una mera villana.

The kids have escape one hell hole but what awaits them on the outside?

Kaiu Shrai (the author) has a mission to keep up the frantic pacing with trails for the kids to overcome. It's not easy once you leave the orphanage since that was the unique setting for the kids to escape. But you also can't stay stuck in there forever because it would seem silly for kids this smart never to get out. However, now the author has to create creatures and environmental dangers to keep the kids on their feet and keep us entertain. I'd say the author largely succeeds there.

Let me state the negative is basically the fact the kids aren't being chased by a grown person, and in doing so you lose some of the drama and fun. However, everything else still works. The art is crazy good. The chase scenes are breathtaking. The monsters are scary. Everything still works on this chase adventure.

I'm hoping it keeps up. For now it's still great. A 4 out of 5.

Chapter 35. Action, Part 4
OMG. Phil is just an adorable, smart and understanding kid! My goodness I just adore him. Finally they are on top of the wall escaping. Seeing Isabella panic is very satisfying. I hate her. 🙄😤 I can't wait for Emma and the others to help escape Phil and others and those from other plants!

Chapter 36. Action, Part 5
OMG YESSS THEY SUCCESSFULLY PASS THE CLIFF WOHOOOO. ESCAPEEEE. YAAAAAAASSSSS. Gosh. Norman is such a genius. He was able to think of all of this in a short period of time! I am so happy for everyone. For Ray to finally have a hope for the future is heartwarming. Awwwww. Amazing!!!!

Chapter 37. Escape
OMG FINALLY. WHAT A RELIEF. At least the biggest thorn is finally taken. They are finally out and was able to escape. I feel a little bit sad for Isabella. Well I know she tried to escape but she was unsuccessful. Then she tried her best to survive. Now she feel somehow proud for the kids and tried to hide some evidences that they jump across that cliff. Still, I hated it that she is just ok with sending kids off on shipment. I feel like her emotion is not justified after all, lots of kids died. Well the main thing is Emma and everyone escape. 😍

Chapter 38. Forest of Vows
OMG! What is happening! This isn't in the anime OMG. Though thank goodness they all escape and they are all okay. The end part shock me. Really? They all disappear just like that?! Also Sister Krone had helped them by giving them the pen. It is indeed extremely helpful!

Chapter 39. Beyond Expectations
Oh wow! Those tree roots are interesting. Though the children are enclosed, thank goodness Emma read about it and even brought the book with her! How convenient and amazing!!!!! Wow. The anime really change a lot of things from the manga. Thank goodness I'm reading the manga now.

Chapter 40. The Snakes of Alvarpinera
OMG. Mr. Minerva really helped them big time! Emma and Ray's knowledge combined is incredible. They were able to remember what they read. They are able to figure out a way to escape those roots. They are able to escape because they all work together. My gosh. I love these kids!

Chapter 41. Attack
Thank goodness they are able to finally escape! Let's talk about Norman since he is the most genius of all who is able to figure out the pen that easily! Wow. Fantastic. Now Ray is able to understand the usage of the pen, too. And then they are able to acquire water. Though the ending is scary! They are being chased by a creepy monster! Ruuuunnn!!!

Chapter 42. We Won't Be Eaten
OMG that monster really looks scary. Though thank goodness the children did not panic a lot! Don and Gilda really improved a lot! Wow I'm so proud of everyone. They are able to endure and are able to think while in a scary situation! Incredible! But Ray! OMG. He's in trouble!

Chapter 43. 81194
My gosh! Ray is in a tight situation with the pursuers and Emma is ill! OMG.

Me gusto, pero siento que no estuvo a la altura de los que ya he leído. Me pareció simple en algunas partes y creo que le hizo falta más plot twist como en los anteriores. De todos modos descubrí algunas cosas que me dejaron mareada y estoy asustada por Emma y Ray solo quiero que sean felices y puedan estar todos juntos en familia.

Isabella me sorprendió, me dio un poco de pena, pero me gustó su decisión al final, se me salio más de una lagrimita.

Emma, Ray and most of the kids are on the run from the Grace Field House orphanage, having set a fire to sow confusion, but Mom has noticed their absence and ordered the main gates closed. However, their daring plan gets them into the surrounding forest anyway. Instead of finding a peaceful, hospitable environment, there are new threats beyond the pursuing demons. A trusty book seems to have some of the solutions to these threats, but leadership is also a key element to survival. Ray's bravery in drawing off predators seems helpful until Emma gets into some trouble.

Not as intriguing as previous volumes now that the kids escaped but still fun and gripping. I don't know how to feel about the new story arc, it seems too rushed and disorganised. I'm glad it lasts only two volumes.

Holy hell this just got 1000 times better!

The kids escaped!
But instead of a lovely world full of butterflies and sunshine, they were greeted by a forest even more creepy than their own and HORRIBLE monsters, and they have to run to ensure their own survival!
I'm really enjoying how the story is progressing and how the world is expanding bit by bit.

WHAT ON EARTH WAS THAT HOODED FIGURE THAT RESCUED RAY IN THE END?????????

My enjoyment of this manga is continuing strong. The characters are still enjoyable and the twists and turns are still happening! Sadly there's not as much tension and scheming going on now that the setting has changed slightly, which I miss.
