Part two in the Where There’s Smoak series begins where part one left off. Conner didn’t get the promotion that he expected. A new, to the firehouse, guy got the job and Conner is not happy! He’s also jealous because Brooke is interested in the new guy, Ian. This is a very short, fast read with a cliffhanger. I am so invested in this story! The plot is so intriguing. I can’t wait to read part three to see what happens next.
