Carl and Alex from the Legend of Dave the Villager series present an epic tale of action, adventure and baked potatoes.
Detective Inspector Carl McCarl has had a tough week. His potato wife has left him, his dog has gone off with another owner, and the city of Awesomeville has run out of potatoes. Together with his partner Alex McAlex, Carl must uncover the mystery of the missing potatoes and bring the bad guys to justice. Can Carl and Alex stop the evil mastermind Doctor Boggo, or will there be no more potatoes ever again?
This book doesn't contain any real Dave the Villager spoilers, but you'll only get all the references and jokes if you've read about as far as book 30!

THE MONA LISA OF BOOKS
Yes, after a few months from the original reveal, World War Potato is finally released. This book is almost perfect in every way, however it's only 60 pages and the ending was rushed. This review is cut up into three sections: Basic Overview of World World Potato, How You Will Feel when You Read World War Potato, and How Dave Created an Almost Perfect Book for Children.
Section 1 - Basic Overview of World World Potato
In order to not spoil some of the book for new readers, I will do a very basic overview of World War Potato. First, Carl and Alex are the supposed writers of this book. They are the main characters in Dave's "Legend Of Dave the Villager." So you would understand more of World War Potato if you read Dave's First Series (in his pseudonym name). As both characters have different personalities - Carl has dark humor and Alex has positive and sees the best and everyone creates great humor. How? Well, both Carl and Alex are writing sections of the book. Since they have different personalities, World War Potato can switch from making best friends with Pegasusses, to kicking people from heights that should kill (but it doesn't). This amount of surprise added with a new type of dialogue, creates one of the funniest and action packed books for all readers.
Section 2 - How You Will Feel when You Read World War
Carl stated that, "This book in front of you will change your life. It will make you laugh; it will make you cry; it will make you think." I have to say this is true. World War Potato made me laugh so hard that it made me cry, in turn making me think how great this book is and how it will shape our world. This book changed my life and gave me insight as to how to create books, adverts, and jokes. You will also feel this way (well I can't confirm it). This book will really change your life. Dave, we thankyou for this masterpiece.
Section 3 - How Dave Created an Almost Perfect Book for Children
In Section 1 I was talking about how the writers had different personalities. Dave knew these personalities to heart and unlike many other authors Dave knew how to not make each persona similar. This act made the book 20 times better, as we could see each character stamp on the book, creating disagreement, and making the book enjoyable. Another thing Dave did was to create a new type of dialogue. Instead of just seeing the dialogue in the story, we saw the inside production of two authors create World War Potato. This dialogue was a major piece of the story so I wont say much about it. But, I can say that improved the humor and action of the story, thus making the book even more fantastic.
Closing Statements
I have to say after taking a break from Minecraft books, World War Potato made me realize how good Minecraft books can be. I hope you read this book, and enjoy it as much as I did. That is all, and have a great day.

I think this was good but you should make it longer and show more improvement slowly in Alex. Everything was great though.
Also in Dtv you should find out how to save Dave from meep farming for the rest of his life because we need happy endings
Maybe add a character named Will or Noize in a book I know like no suggestions ever get through but maybe this one will. It doesn’t even have to be a very good character maybe just like one line?
Anyway, your books are the best keep going!!!

“World War Potato” is silly yet fun read. This is the first time I’ve come across a Dave the Villager book, and as an avid Minecraft fan and a serious reader who relishes a non-depressing title every once in a while, I found myself constantly chuckling at the book’s hilarious scenarios throughout.
Although it does feel quite rushed, the two main character’s playful personalities shine through its tedious moments, making the 60-page experience mostly worth the read. All in all, it’s no “Dune”, but it’s great for anyone who’s willing to take a step down from more serious titles for just a little while.

Good book! There were a few dull parts in the middle but I really liked the parts when Carl argues with Alex about how Alex is writing then book. And the giant potato at the end.

Great book
