#6 in the series. Different type of story but all the characters were still present. Loved it!

Adorable story
This is an adorable story about a woman falling in love with an incognito famous actor.
Brook has been in love with Grayson Cordova since she was a preteen and saw him on a tv show. She has seen everything he’s ever been in and read every article about him. She even gets notifications when something comes up about him online.
Grayson has been in an accident that has left him with a serious life changing injury. To add insult to injury the paparazzi won’t leave him alone and his manager refuses to tell them to back off. He needs a break, someplace quiet where he can focus on healing.
That’s how they wind up in the same town.
I enjoyed seeing these two get to know one another and watching their relationship develop. Nice addition to the series.

What a wonderful step away from the typical Hollywood meets small town story. Grayson is incognito after an injury when he meets Brooklyn, a girl who’s had a crush on his onscreen persona for years.
She doesn’t recognize the scruffy stranger, but his predicament touches her heart and she just has to help him. The question is, what happens when she finds out who he really is?
This is a fun, easy to read story that I enjoyed.

I really enjoyed this book.
Brooklyn “Brook” is 27 but still suffering from a massive crush on Hollywood star, Grayson Cordova.
Grayson is hiding out in Seaside Oregon to recover from a leg injury. Somehow Brook doesn’t recognize him ( what with a beard) but she keeps offering to help him. Grayson refuses to let anyone help him.
They had chemistry and it was fun reading about a celeb in Seaside.

That's the problem Grayson faces, hiding yet having a developing relationship with a stranger that can't help herself wanting to be helpful. Without realizing it, Brook does help Grayson get past the pain he is in. He learns she is what he needs in spite of his physical condition. It is a good story though I didn't enjoy it as much as the previous ones. I received a free copy. I am choosing to leave this review.

Brook was a sweetheart, and so patient. Grayson was grumpy at first, but I loved seeing him come out of his shell. This story was adorable!

Consistency is Important
I have been jumping around this series reading about this amazing seaside town in Oregon where the people are everything that a small-town can be. Friends who would do everything for you. With that said, it was distracting to see Carson called Carter in this book. Being consistent with character names is important. Hence four stars instead of five.

Until Covid and two years of masks I would have scoffed at the idea of a disguise that would keep you from recognizing a person you knew as well as Brooklyn knew Grayson, but now I understand how just small changes can fool the eye. I enjoyed this story and kept cheering for Grayson.

Brook and Grayson are great character. Their romance is filled with twists and turns and I love the growth in the characters during the story.

I normally don't like books about movie stars but Grayson won me over. He has been Brooklyn's celebrity crush and ideal man for years. My heart really hurt for her - while she is so happy for her friends finding love - she longs to find her forever love too. She has such a sweet disposition and truly cares about others - even the stranger known as Cord. Of course his secrets cause angst but will they prevent them from a hea?
