The storyline is interesting but it drags because of long unnecessary descriptions of places and things. Chris has grown as a character but Emily has not. The author has Emily and Chris to marry, have a set of twins in addition to Ivory and to re-marry having a traditional wedding. A year into their happy ever after, the story cliff hangs with their lives being threatened by persons unknown. This dilemma is forecast during the last third of this story-setting up book four's who-don-it: Is it Jacob driven by his jealousy and failed attempts at bad mouthing Chris to the board ? Is it Drew driven by the fear of losing his investment and partnership with Emily? And then there are the ex-wife and ex-fiance and the 'scorned lover syndrome', could one or both of them plot the demise of Chris, Emily and their family happiness? Wait for it!
