Fueled by Sam's unique superpower that treats him like a video game character with more levels to gain and quests to fulfill, he and his party of beautiful heroines continue onward to bring peace to the fantastical expansion world of Galandia.
Unfortunately, the evil in this land threatens a civil war that could lay waste not only to Galandia but to Earth itself. But, if Sam can grind harder, loot more, and gather enough powerful allies, there's a small chance that not only can he stop the war, but unlock a secret no one could expect: Godmode!
Warning: This book contains dimension hopping, ravishing women, barbarian werebears, amazing magic, raising a pet dragon, and the ability to become the strongest person the universe has ever seen. That’s right, we said universe.
Okay,I’m going to write a review here because Amazon is very political company that will censor you because they’re communists and socialists. Now that I’ve said that my rating of this book is kinda for the series as a whole. This was the first series I’ve read by Archer, now….don’t get me wrong i actually liked book seven of this series even though it had a lot of typos, wrong names were used and I had to stop and think to puzzle some things together like in all the rest of the books in the series and I really DON’T like Mason. That guy was a child. Seriously, when Sam was called the blessed one and people were showing him respect and reverence to have him laughing and joking around while to these people Sam is a saviour from their sent to aid them during a time of strife and war and to always have Mason just being an immature clown all the time killed the mood constantly. But this was throughout the series. Even after he got Dria he was still a Debbie downer when it came to Sam and his women. Dude, you have your girl just be happy. If you want what Sam has maybe see if dria is interested in branching out. Also the ending was just sad… I was super excited thinking the next book would be around the bend but looking and seeing book seven was finished in 2021 and I had to figure out who Garrett was I just figured there will never be another book. Sam will get absolutely zero closure. Drew would never see the world and still think Sam is crazy, the idiotic world government would still be doing endless research and Anthony will just be Anthony. Also I’m disappointed that Sam never called Drew Dad… can you imagine the joy and heartfelt reaction drew and Sams mom would have expressed to hear Sam call drew dad? He was his hero growing up, he saved him countless times, made his mom happy and took care of him in so many ways and he still calls the man by his first name. I’m disappointed in Sam over that.maybe because I’m a dad myself and I know what it’s like to have sons and to take care of kids but to also lose a son and lose so much and have seen so much. I sympathise With drew who just wanted to be a great dad and good husband. Anyways, I could talk about this series a lot because I truly liked it so I have issues with not getting the proper closure. It makes me worry about reading more archer books. Do all of his series end like this? Abruptly and no closure? Just a silly cliffhanger? I’ll probably try one more series and if it disappoints I’ll drop him as an author completely.
So, what do you give a boy who has everything he could want? With an OP superpower, a group of beautiful young and powerful girlfriends, best friends he can count on, and a whole new world to explore, what else could anybody ask for? A dragon of course! And not just any old dragon, he hatches an Elder dragon. Dante is only a cute little hatching now, but he will grow at an increased rate to be larger, smarter, more powerful then other dragons. He also forms a bond with Sam, a bond that will grow stronger as it develops.
This series just gets better and more exciting as it goes. Who's ready for God more?
I have loved this series ever since Simon Archer first published it and I’m always anxious for a new book in the series and I always enjoy them, so I had high homes when Book 7 was released and when I saw the title was Godmode, I had high expectations. Well, my expectations were not met… they were flown completely out of the water. This book was EPIC. Every time I wanted to put it down it was a struggle to not keep reading. This book proved why this had become my favorite series. I only wish I could put more stars. FANTASTIC SERIES!!!!
Still really good but not as much as the previous ones.
I still really like this series, but unfortunately this one isn't as good as the others. 30% of this was just recaps of the other novels in the series. Almost like the author wanted us to start with this one instead #1. I didn't like that it was just filler, because I already read the previous novels so I didn't need a rehash of them.
I enjoyed reading this book. This time, Sam and his team have to stop a civil war. There were a lot of careless errors that could have been avoided with some editing. It is an unnecessary distraction. This seems to have become a pattern with the last few books. I hope that the next installment will be better.
A good way to finish of this book series. The plot kept you interested in the characters as they powered up. Sending them in quests was a good way to introduce new characters and solutions to finishing their quest. A good read.
I wish my character could level up this fast, 500XP per level after level 70. Simon still needs to run his work through a grammar checker and get something to read it before it is published. Enjoying the story and looking forward to it's continuation.
Ok, this story line is my favorite by this guy. So much so that I read them all in one setting. The hero is cool the ladies are hot and the action fast. Worth your time and money to read.
This series is so awesome! The best of all fantasy one could ask for! This new world is awesome and the ending makes me excited to see what happens to Sam and his friends! I can’t wait for the next book to come out!!
