Entertaining mystery listening 🎶🔰

Another will written murder mystery family and friends relationships adventure thriller short story by Audrey Walker (Shelby Griffin Series book 6 of 7). Morris is murdered in his bath 🛁 tub. Shelby and Seth continue investigation into what is going on. They have to go to Oregon too check ✔ out a lead. They walk 🚶 into a trap but manage too capture the bad 👎 guys. I would recommend this series and author to 👍 readers of mystery novels 👍🔰. Enjoy the adventure of reading 👓 or listening 🎶 to Alexa read books 📚. 2023 👒😀😡🏡

I just finished reading the boxset for the first five Shelby Griffin books in preparation for reading this latest installment. What an amazing series this is! I am so excited this series is continuing. I just can't get enough of this feisty, tough, cop. In this installment, Shelby's partner Morris is murdered. Though his death was staged to appear as a suicide, Shelby is determined to prove it was murder. The story is well-written, with a solid plot filled with twists and turns and will keep you turning the pages and keep you guessing till the end. I am hooked on this series and can't wait to dive into the next one!

Shelby Returns
I was excited when Audrey announced that there would be additional books in the Shelby Griffin series, as she is a feisty and interesting character.
She definitely faces some new challenges, with old protagonists, in this newest offering. The story line is good. Starts a tad slower, but certainly ramps up later in the book. Shelby does not initially get much help from the LAPD, but forges on with the help of her friends. The new character, Caleb, is quirky and easy to like.
Things come together in the end, with the usual twists and turns that Audrey mixes in.
A fun, quick read.

A good instalment continuing on from Sleepless Shelby.
With her partner, Morris dead under suspicions circumstances, Shelby enlists the help of Seth and a young, slightly awkward, computer whizz Caleb.
Who is out to get them? What's in the notebook? Why was Ramirez forced to retire?
With the help of Morris's trusted friend Lewis and the DA, a plan is hatched to storm the base but at what cost?

How did this happen? He wouldn't commit suicide, no matter what anyone says. He wouldn't do this to his family, especially his kids. Detective Shelby Griffin will have to investigate this case quietly and secretly. It's obvious that there's a mole in the police department.

Shelby will have to uncover the mole while at the same time she'll need to find her friend's killer, before they kill her.

This short, action filled tale is almost too short for all that happens. If you want a tense thriller read this novelette is for you. Once again our heroine is clearing mystery after mystery n short order. I don't believe in reiterating the storyline, but this keeps the reader engrossed. The readers will be as drawn in as I.

This story continues with Shelby going to the scene of a suspected suicide, the only thing different was that it was her partner on the police force. When she arrived at the scene, she knew that is was a murder and not a suicide. The lead detective had made his determination without looking into it. Shelby was convinced and started looking for evidence that would prove her right. The lead that she received from the victim's wife put her on the right track. When she was requesting information the police department she got stonewalled.

She finally got a lead by talking to the retire police chief. With assistant by Caleb, the chief's nephew and a computer expert, plus Seth, who she knew from an earlier case, she began to have all of the pieces fall in place to solve the case.

To discover who was behind Morris's death and how she was able to piece it all togeter, then you need to raed this book. The ending will have you wanting more.

This is a wonderful addition to this thrilling series!
Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start.
Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believable.
Great suspense and action with wonderful world building that adds so much to the story.
Such a thrilling read that I couldn't put it down.

Shelby’s partner is dead. The department has ruled it a suicide Even though it looks like it is she knows he would never have done such a thing. Not to his wife and child. Since they are determined to close the car she starts to investigate on her own. The more she finds the more the deeper the corruption leads. She now is in danger herself for not leaving it alone.
