This is the final installment of The Music Man Sci-Fi/Fantasy Trilogy! Prepare to be taken on a roller coaster ride full of suspense, emotions, and adventure! Without further ado, Enjoy, The Music Man: Hidden Portals
•The cover page of the book is very suspenseful and intriguing and matches very well with the title. The genre of the book is horror, magic, and fantasy. I hope you have already read the other two books of this ., which are just amazing read.
If you haven’t read the other parts of the book , do check the reviews of the part 1 & part 2 too .. you will definitely find it helpful !
•The plot of the series centers around Jimmy, who is deeply devastated by the events in his life. His enthusiasm for music, on the other hand, has kept him alive and driven. He soon met Cornelius, the Music Man, and realized that they have similar interests. Cornelius showed Jimmy his legendary piano in his attic. It sends them to another magical parallel dimension after playing a tune written by Cornelius. Cornelius was a well-known conductor and composer with a concert coming up in Harmony. Hornsbury, on the other hand, is a conductor who wants to own all of the Harmonians with his music at any cost.
•This book begins with Jimmy knowing that he has to perform in America and was excited about it.Soriya, one of his classmates, is equally delighted for him. Jimmy had feelings for Soriya, but he wasn't ready to tell her about them. Further, in the headmistress's office, Music Man was discussing with Mr. Boyden and the headmistress. Headmistress ultimately agreed to let them take Jimmy and Joe to Chicago if she could confirm it with their parents first.

•The storyline is written uniquely, and all of the characters are well-suited to their roles. The language has been kept as simple as possible. The narrative is captivating and holds the reader's attention. The author developed a unique plot that keeps the audience engaged throughout the story. The author taught us that, no matter how strong the darkness is, it is always extinguished by light.
☕Yayyy!! Drumrolls for the final adventure, this is the third installment in the series and probably the most interesting one too. I was waiting to read it from so long. The book two ended with most probable questions and doubts and all of them are gonna be answered and revealed in this series. Jimmy and team are ready for something big but will they be able to do what they wish?
The book also has haunting elements, but it's not the scary horror it's an unique kind of suspenseful light horror that adds more life to the story. The storyline takes the readers deeper in terms of fantasy and adventure. I also like how each character is more polished now and it's so good to read their story. . . I felt lot more engaged and comfortable while reading this and this is probably because I already know almost all the characters but definitely the adventure is way to suspenseful. The second half is definitely more stronger and fast paced. . . The first part is fast paced as well but not a lot of action goes on there comparatively. The ending was very unpredictable and I loved how it ended it just melted my heart. It was perfect. The chapters are very very short and crisp, so after each chapter you definitely would want to see what happens next and that's the best thing. . . It was overall a rollercoaster ride, a heartfelt read meant for adventurous readers, who love young characters doing their magic that they have within, with some fantasy elements and of course music lovers shouldn't miss it all. Go for it. Also, try reading the first two books too, you will surely enjoy. . Rating: 4.25⭐️
Wow! The last novel is my favorite of the series. What a rollercoaster! The fact that the entire series takes place in two different worlds is so beautifully done. There are some stories where this concept doesn’t work or is just plain confusing. But Moonyani writes in a way that everything connects with each other. This series is perfect for young readers and anyone who loves fantasy, sci-fi, and horror. There aren’t any parts that are extremely scary which is great for younger readers. My favorite concept of the series is how Moonyani uses music literally to transport you to another universe. I haven’t read anything like this before. Great use of the time travel concept combined with music. Don’t wait, read the series as soon as possible. Lastly, the endings of books 1 and 3 made me smile. My heart melted at the ending of the last book of the series. I hope she continues writing. Moonyani is a very gifted writer. I hope this series is adapted into a mini series or even into movies. Hollywood! Contact Moonyani! What an imagination she has!
Jimmy is living his dreams making music when again something is at force , thinking they got rid of Mr . Hornsbury , he just don’t die lmfao which gives that Harry Potter feel especially the build up to when they realize what’s happening . this one has a more horror feel to it but I enjoyed it like the scene when the piano started playing music back during their moment , Ofcourse it’s not to scary but the tone change definitely adds something to the read with the magic. I love the built relationships and connections they use to take him down , plot always keeps you on the tip of your toes not knowing what’s going to happen butt …… Soriya scene when she saw what happening to jimmy was so cute ! .. I was glad for the ending , I really love their relationship how they go to bat for each other and how they got a happy ending.
The Music Man: Hidden Portals book 3 was by far the best of the series.
The story continued with everything you loved in books 1 and 2. Hidden Portals returned with more magic, fantasy, and a surprise protagonist hero that wasn't male.
Hidden Portals, other dimensions, magic spells, witches, warlocks and changelings were all unleashed in the Windsart School of Music.
Of course Mr. Hornsbury is up to all of his old tricks but he is outmatched and unwitted by magical forces that evil cannot withstand.
In a world filled with so much darkness it's always great when good wins. Book 3 delivers on the fantasy. I found the story to be most engaging. Personally my favorite of the series. Write is a talented storyteller. This 3 book series is one she can be proud of.
Wow! Moonyani did a great job of ending her series this way. I do hope this series continues but I am satisfied with the way the trilogy has ended. This trilogy should be a series on Netflix or made into films of course. The third book introduces more fantasy elements which kept me very engaged. I didn’t want to stop reading. Also, I loved the diversity in the series. There aren’t too many fantasy books with leads of color so this was refreshing and I will continue to read books with leads from different backgrounds. The Music Man series was innovative and very entertaining. Moonyani has a beautiful imagination and she is extremely talented. I can’t wait to see what else she writes. I highly recommend this trilogy for ages 12 and up.
While The Music Man book one is my absolute favorite of the series, Hidden Portals was a great way to wrap up the series. I loved how the worlds interacted with each other, also the headmistress was a strong character and very relatable. The Music Man series is very creative and something I haven’t read before. The use of musical instruments to tackle evil and transport the characters is a very refreshing idea. I highly recommend this series.
I absolutely loved the last installment. The magic use was well executed and the headmistress/professors of the boarding school were some of my favorite parts of the story. Shapeshifting is also one of my favorite elements in books and Moonyani executed this theme very well. For science fiction and fantasy fans, you’ll love how she merges the two worlds. Check it out!
Book 3 is my favorite of the Music Man trilogy because it combines everything I loved about books 1 and 2 and the author maximizes those parts while adding more elements. Also, I love how diverse the characters are in the entire trilogy. What a unique and imaginative series. Moonyani has gained a new fan. I hope she publishes more books!

What a fun way to end the trilogy! I think that book three might have been my favorite. This trilogy would be great for YA and YA trying to get into the fantasy genre. Book three continues with the unique dialoguing that I was completely used to by the third book. This trilogy was fun, light, and an easy read.
I loved how this series ended. I do hope it’s continued but even if Moonyani stops at this one, I am still very satisfied. The Music Man series is refreshing and very very different from anything I’ve read before.
The final book I feel is the best in the series. The series takes me back to the days of reading Harry Potter. While not the same thing of course but the Music Man series does remind me of Harry Potter. I would love to see a tv or film adaptation of these books. Highly recommend!
Great ending to the series! Highly recommend! The third novel has everything you love about books one and two and Moonyani really expands the worlds she created. The ending made me cry. Wow! Excited to see what Moonyani releases next! What a beautiful and refreshing series!
I loved the ending to the series. Moonyani wrapped the book up so well. I am so lucky to have been able to read the series I hope you consider reading!
