Will love conquer all this Christmas?

The very day Adam Fisher decided to propose to Charity, a disturbing letter arrived that made him doubt everything Charity had told him.

Adam and his family had brought Charity into their hearts and their lives.

Was it all a lie? Most disturbingly, he'd even trusted her to look after his daughter.

Charity had fallen on hard times and had learned to seize opportunities. This time, has she taken things too far?

Will it take a child to show these two lonely hearts the true meaning of love, forgiveness, and... Christmas?

Really good. I would have specified which group of Amish the characters were from. Very little was ‘Amish’ about the book making the characters seem not Amish. There was a lot of repetition of character thoughts that was unnecessary.

This book will show one the best way to know your self. As MS Price always does. She gaves you insight to be a better person by walking in some one else's foot prints. Her book always touches my soul and gives me peace. I can not choose a favorite one of the S. Price books, they all are. Thank you for sharing you talent.

What I took from this story is that you have to put yourself in someone’s shoes to understand them before judging them. Look more closely into the why they did what they did or said.
If you apologize, you should be forgiving them and give them a second chance. One mistake does not take away all the good they have in them.

Gretchen has volunteered to go visit the last known residence of her uncle David, as no one has heard from him in years. She goes to his last known address.
The house is now owned by a widower named Adam whose wife Dorothy died giving birth to his now 1 year old daughter. There is a spark they both feel on meeting for the first time, but before she can explain why she's there, he's calling her Charity and saying he would have picked her up. Belatedly, it occurs to him to ask if she is Charity, and she finds herself saying yes. Then she says something about not being Charity. Puzzled, he goes to the bus station to pick Charity up, and Gretchen follows him. When Charity doesn't show, after being paged overhead a couple times, Gretchen decides to keep up the farce.
Adam has 2 brothers. Jed has been unlucky in love. Benjamin is married and currently is helping at Adam's furniture store while his wife sees to their farm. They have no children yet. Benjamin is very unkind to Gretchen, esp when he finds out that his mother and sister really like Gretchen in spite of her pretense.
Adam discovers Gretchen's subterfuge when Charity writes to explain why she didn't come. He is quite angry with her, and makes sure she knows his opinion of her values and morals is not very high.
Gretchen's original plan had been to find her uncle, stay a few days, and decide whether to stay with him until she could find a job and a place of her own, or go back to her aunt's home. Once the estrangement occurs, she moves in with David and watches his 2 young sons while he's at work (he was also widowed). She keeps the house clean, plays with the boys when she can, goes grocery shopping, and cooks for them. She has the evenings off, room.and board, and a small salary.
Charity suddenly writes to Adam again, and admits to lying about her age, making him winder if lying is a thing with all women. She said that was why she had broken it off, but says she'd like to visit and see if they had a chance. He had written to her to come, thought better of it, but one of his employees had posted the letter for him when she saw it on his desk. Befire he knows it, she has written to tell him when she will be arriving. He is upset, as he has come to realize he has been unforgiving towards Gretchen and feels something for her. Now the question is, will Gretchen give him another chance, and would it be possible that Jed and Charity might hit it off?
Will Gretchen accept Adam's apologies? Will Charity and Jed hit it off? And will Adam's sister Ruth finally find love with the man she's loved for a long time? Are there wedding bells in the future, and if so, for whom?

I have had the privilege of reading Samantha Price for several years now, and I can truthfully say I have never read a Samantha Price book that I didn’t like. She is truly a gifted author but , Blessed Amish Christmas, it’s one of my favorite and one of her best works yet. She just gets better and better. Release day is December 2, 2021.

Truly this is the story of finding a new love and a new forgiveness.. all at Christmas time.

Adam fisher is a widower with a young daughter. Because he believes his child needs a mother he decides it’s time for him to remarry. He had to corresponding with a young lady for quite a while she is invited to join him and his family with the possibility of getting married.

Gretchen Bontrager arrives in town looking for her uncle when she goes to his address she finds Adam is now living there and Adam mistakes her for his possible new bride. When Gretchen plays along and pretend to be Charity, things really become entangled.

Can Gretchen and Adam ever learn to love and trust one another again?

Will it take the love for a child to show two adults how to love and forgive?

The story is wonderfully written, smooth reading, and a five star book that you just can’t put down.

Pre-order yours today for a wonderful, forgiving, Christmas experience.

I was given an ARC by the author but was not required to give a positive review. Opinions are all my own. Another 5-star book.

6++ 💖

Samantha Price has always written books that delight me and have me hanging on for the next release.

Gretchen leaves her Amish community, to travel to another in search of her Uncle David.
The last known address, finds her meeting with Adam and his daughter.

Adam is waiting for the arrival of effectively his mail order Amish bride Charity.
There is much confusion, deceit, and misunderstanding in this book, as well as a delightful family support.

This is one of my favorite in this series from Samantha Price.

I would recommend this book and this author to you.

I love a great Christmas story. Charity is not sure if she wants to marry a compete stranger. So she doesn't leave to meet Adam. Has she messed up true love for herself? Can the Christmas spirit make things better that they work out? Adam is so confused because he is seeing someone who says she is Charity. Something is going on to ladies are making a play for Adam. Can Adam find trust in a woman again?

This is book 4 in a wonderful Christmas series written by author Samantha Price. If you haven't read any of the series get them now.

Samantha Price skillfully brings another amazing book. I am always amazed at the way she intertwines many characters in her stories. This book is one of her best.
What role does Charity actually play in this book? A warm Christmas story with love in the air. I highly recommend this book.

Delightful read

Charity is not really Charity but it doesn't matter. The Fisher women immediately fall in love with her and plot to get her married to David. This is a most enjoyable read. I recommend it as a good book to read not only at Christmas time but any time of the year.

Unexpected

I just didn't enjoy the storyline. I expected to have Charity as the primary character. Her personality is so dynamic. Scanned quickly through the audio book so maybe I will read and listen more close!y and find more enjoyment with the book.

Blessed Amish Christmas indeed

With plenty of love, lots of angst (issues, problems) intertwined to make 3 happy couples by the end of the story; oops did I give too much away? Thanks again for a God framed look at every day issues.

I tend to read technical or political books so now and then an Amish book is a good balance. Very pleasant book.

A Blessed Amish Christmas
December 2nd, this new Christmas book in a Series of 4, by Samantha Price will be available to purchase.
If you love Christmas stories, then you want to be sure to grab this great romantic one.
Adam Fisher is a widower with a young daughter he has to raise on his own.
He has been writing letters to a woman, named Charity Hadley, and has made plans for her to come to him and get married at Christmas.
He decided he needed a wife to raise his daughter, Mabel, and that love, if it came, would maybe come later.
However, his sister Ruth isn't sure that what he's planning is such a good idea. She currently is helping him take care of his daughter and she thinks that he should marry for love, not just to have a wife and mother for Mabel.
Will things work out for him like he thinks, or did he make a mistake of having a woman coming that he only knew through letters?
He still loves his wife, Dorothy very much and doesn't believe he can love anyone else like he did her. He believes that just a marriage/arrangement would solve so many of his problems for him, his daughter, Ruth, and the rest of his family as far as his lifestyle currently.
Will Adam regret his decision? Will Christmas be what he had imagined for Mabel and himself, or did he mess up completely?
If you want to find out the answers to these questions and read a wonderfully written, romantic Christmas, love story, then you most definitely want to pre-order your copy now. You don't want to miss out on this beautiful story that will have you turning page after page, craving more and more, until you have read it all!!!
This is such a great Christmastime story and would make a great gift for others, as well...

It was fine. An ok book. Nice to listen to while doing chores or painting etc. The story was nice, but kind of predictable. I liked that not all of the characters did react like I am used to in books. They did show kindness and brain.
I really just don’t know what to say more about this book.
