I'm determined to find the source of Wanda's curse and fix it. But the timetable for that becomes greatly accelerated when she goes missing, and I get a vision of her begging for help.

This third installment in Sam Cheevers Mature Magic series is fantastic! The series just keeps getting better! This epic adventure of good versus evil has demons, witches, a crone, shifters, gnomes, fairies, magical creatures, monsters and nonstop action. The vivid descriptive writing creates an almost movie-like reading experience. You are actually able to visualize what’s happening so well that it’s almost like watching event unfold on a movie screen. These books are some of the most creative books I’ve read in a long time.

This book was insane from beginning to the end. Everyone was needed on deck for help in removing the spell that held poor Wanda in the Groundhog Day effect. She repeated her movements day after day, without fail...no choice in the matter and Aggy, Madam Lares of Rome, Indiana, was determined to figure out who to release Wanda from this horrible curse. But, inorder to do so, Aggy would need more courage and strength than she had ever drawn upon. She would need a new alliance member and risk losing lives of those closest to her in order to secure Wanda's freedom and face a whole new set of challenges!
This newest book deals a lot with demons, which I am not particularly fond of, but the storytelling and non stop action are spot on. Once started, it is difficult to put this book down.

If her dreams mean anything then something evil is coming. Aggy and her council survived the Hellmouth invasion of Rome, Indiana but evil never gives up and this time it has Wanda in it’s sights.
Sam Cheever has created another masterful paranormal adventure that spans the magical realms. I received a free copy of the book but my opinions are honest and voluntary.

An EASY 5 star story from a master storyteller.
Multiple twists, plenty of humor, and plenty of battles to keep the pages turning.
Aggy and her friends have been trying to find a way to kill a curse placed on a teenager who has earned all of their trust, but now needs their help.
She has been kidnapped and there may only be a limited time to save her.
On the way to finding her, they go to see the Crone who lives in a castle under the sea guarded by fierce sea creatures they will have to battle their way past. Aggy has the help of a beautiful horse that theirs more to than meets the eye, and she also needs to know if Wanda's father has anything to do with her disappearance.

Witch Witchery is That? is a wonderful book. It is exciting and engaging. It is full of magic and adventure. It is impossible to put the book down. The characters are great. The book is well written and detailed. I loved this book and can not wait for more in this series!

What a fantastic journey! good vs bad, devils, deamons, witches, crones,Agatha Lares has quite the little army. She may be new to her station, but with support from her friends, she is the perfect example of anything iss possible. This book kept me on the edge of my seat and was a page turner that made it nearly impossible to put down.

Amazing Roller Coaster Ride of Fun, Exciting Adventures in a Magical World of Rome!!!
Which Witchery is That is the third book in the Mature Magic series and it's full of fun exciting adventures.
Wanda is cursed with Groundhog Day curse then she goes missing so Aggy, Madam Lares of Rome, and her friends need to overcome many obstacles and challenges including an array of murderous sea monsters, a wicked crone, a corrupt, power-hungry witches and a cadre of deadly demons in order to find Wanda and save her from the curse.
This book is a well written, fun fast paced non-stop action one right after another and keep you guessing of what the next chapter will reveal, it's a very entertaining paranormal mystery with unpredictable, unique, clever, creative original story line with a lot of fun imaginations. There are a lot going on with many interesting characters, it's full of mystery, magic, actions, adventures and humor, very hard to put down with many twist and turn that keeps me glued to my seat.
It is a great read and I highly recommend this book to any paranormal cozy mystery fans, can't wait to read the next book in the series.

Aggy needs a vacation. The Hellmouth is gone but a Lares' work is never done. Just when she thought she might get to spend some time actually learning about her powers (and is there some kind of paycheck with this gig?), she starts having demon dreams and her historian screams for her help. But where is Wanda? Not only is she gone but Aggy can find no trace of her. She only has a vision of Wanda and some kind of demon.
So starts a whirlwind search for the skinny, cursed, girl-child that will take Aggy and her associates on a journey of peril to try to get information from the Crone. (Who knew someone called "The Crone" would have such cute dachshunds?) Fortunately, Layla is back and Aggy gains the trust of several magical creatures and they all literally save her life several times. Gren is by her side through it all, as are Mavis, Bev, Trish, Luke, Niele, and of course, Monty the Mighty dog. There are leviathans to battle, demons to smite, and yummy donuts to eat. Enjoy.

You can guarantee if something goes wrong, Aggy's close by.

This time our heroine's task is a bit smaller, just save one person. But that doesn't necessarily mean easier and the stakes are really high as this is someone close to her.
This is book three of the series. It is written as a standalone, with all the essential bits covered early on.
This is an urban fantasy/paranormal story, whichever you are most comfortable with. Like all the stories I have read by this author, it is well written and easy to read with a well developed cast and setting. I really like our heroine and her willingness to step up for those she cares about (and perhaps others along the way). The plot is full of action, intrigue and mystery which combine to make things move at a good pace. All together, it made for a very entertaining story and I look forward to more in the series.

Paranormal Thriller
This book is the third in a series which should really be read in order. I would not describe these books as 'cozy'. While they are not as graphic or bloody as some, there is a degree of tension that could inspire nightmares. I read the books in small doses because of my tendency towards bad dreams. The story is very good. There are many paranormal creatures trying to help our heroine develop her powers and to protect her town. Demons, shape-shifters, fairies, witches, and some with no names are all involved in this story. The plot is great and well developed. Wanda is missing and Aggy is determined to find her. Her quest, though, is not helped by animosity between some of her allies and the need to get information from someone who really knows how to make it difficult to be contacted.
All this, whilst Aggy is still learning about the abilities and skills that are essential for her to succeed as a Lares.
I was fortunate enough to get hold of an advanced review copy of this book and can honestly say that I enjoyed every moment of it. It is, like it's predecessors, a great tale that is well worth reading.

Aggy, all her friends and the wonder dog Monty, are all on the hunt for Wanda. She is a girl that has been hit with the Groundhog Curse and needs their help immediately. The group goes up against so many dangerous situations in this fast paced book. The characters are terrific, with great variety of talents and skills. The storyline keeps you on your toes, just waiting for the next issue to hit. Loved the trust they have for each other and the strength to get through all the speedbumps in their paths. Great ending like always.

I have no words. This story was a non-stop action thrill ride. It kicks off almost from the moment the book opens and doesn’t let up until the very end. New allies, new enemies, and lots and lots of new discoveries. I refuse to say more about it because I don’t want to ruin those discoveries for other readers out there. I have no idea what Aggy’s going to have to face in the future, but I can’t wait to go on the adventure with Madam Lares and her Council.

Somebody cursed Wanda with a groundhog day curse of all things. I loved this book.The curse is really going to keep Aggie and the counsel hustling to break the curse. Then there are monsters and other baddies to deal with. The character aggy is just amazing . I thought this story was very entertaining and it took all afternoon to finish the book. It was clever and light hearted. This series is one of my favorites.

Finally!
I was waiting for this one. Poor young Wanda under a cruel curse. About time Aggie got around to dealing with it, and almost too late. I read this book in one day just because I had to see what became of Wanda. This was a very good book.
I was just pondering, why I liked it so much. I find that each book in the series has a lot going on, so there are multiple sub-plots, or maybe I should say steps that need to be accomplished to reach the heroine's goal. This keeps the book interesting and fast paced. Plus each character is unique and fascinating.

Aggy is beside herself when Wanda goes missing so she gathers her people and goes to see the crone for help who directs them to the father. Along the way, they are attacked and when they get to where they need to be, the crone has a Leviathon surprise waiting for them. This story has plenty of action, the surprises are many, including demons and blood magic, plus it ends on a happy note. Highly recommended..

A great book by one of my favorite authors, I love love loved it! Aggy and the gang need to break a curse that’s been put on Wanda. It’s an exciting and interesting adventure, so much fun! The sea monsters are awesome! Great characters, full of wit and snark! I always look forward to a new Sam Cheever book, and can’t wait for the next one! Brilliant!

I absolutely love everything Sam writes ❤. In this book she brings another trial for Aggy and her council. Wanda is in trouble and it will take all of them to save her. This was my favorite of the series thus far. I think I say that about each one 🙂. Great job Sam! Can't wait for the next one!

Another great book by Cheever! I adore this whole series — anything by Cheever really. Always well-written, well-paced, likeable and complex characters, plus a great mystery. Every time I think it can’t get better, Cheever proves us wrong. Can’t wait for the next book!

A great series with many different elements in it. We've got gnomes, witches, demons, fairies, all sorts of magical creatures and loads of magical adventures. This series has started picking up pace and promises to be one of the best by Sam Cheever.

Aggy and her team venture into a world of sea monsters ad other creatures including the crone, to find Wanda who is missing and cure her from her curse. I enjoyed reading this book very much and I look forward to reading more books in the series. I recommend this book to everyone.

The gang the Lares and counsel must rescue one of their.own
Several new characters in this book , the crone is not what most of us would expect. Wanda is missing and gang has lots of battles to save her new allies new foes . Monte had fun lo!Ray and Batty had big parts in this one too

This was an entertaining read which kept me guessing until the end, love how the characters are developing and am happy for Wanda, don’t know about her parents, though it would be interesting to have them pop in once in a while to keep everyone on their toes
