Detective Mariner of the Organized Crime Division was given a secret assignment by the Chief of Police. Drug dealers had made a complaint against Squad Two through their lawyers. Squad Two had been accused of stealing their money during raids. In and out. No drugs were taken. No arrests made. Just money. Around $232,000.
Mariner's investigation into his fellow officers is suppose to be kept quiet but there has been a leak.
As the pieces of the puzzle start to fall in place Mariner realizes the worst is about to happen.
