Our hero has his hands full this time with supernatural spirits at sea, but he is not alone. Of course, his allies are not exactly his BFFs.

This is book four in the series but it works just fine as a standalone. You might miss a bit of background on the characters, but all the essential bits are covered early on.

This is an action filled urban adventure story with a snarky hero fighting Japanese myths. Lots going on here and it makes for a very interesting mix. I really like our hero, although I am not sure if it is because of his attitude or in spite of it. And the setting has a lot of depth to it which I definitely want to explore in more depth. I guess that is what the other books are for. The story is fast paced and full of plot twists that keep you engaged and guessing as to what comes next. Overall, a highly enjoyable read and I look forward to reading more in the future.

Highly recommended.

This seven-hour NC17 paranormal about the tribulations of Bellamy Vale is set mostly in Cold City and, although it is Book 4 in the series, works well as a stand-alone.
