As they make their way to evacuate, they discover a rogue army of mercenaries threatening to hunt them down. As his foes close in, Adam is forced to trust a strange ally and begins a daring quest to escape the Triassic.
This has to be one of the worst books I have read on Kindle. It is listed as science fiction. It should be listed as a kids fantasy comic book with out illustration and lots of silly sounds. There is no cohesive science except for four or five names of dinosaurs. Very basic things like physics and Newton's laws not to mention simple combact tactics and common sense are ignored. In particular the weapons research is non existent. Good science fiction builds on known science and forecast it into a possible evolution obeying known laws. Not this book. This writer has basically no understanding of weapons or tactics. Must have grown up playing video games. Energy weapons do not produce recoil as energy has no mass. Pure energy weapons would use extremely powerful batteries (ie super conducting power sources) not clips. Nomenclature is mangled. Dialogue is sophomoric and ultimately predictable. I am a finisher but I found it very difficult to finish this book. The only thing this writer does is build break neck pace to the point of ridiculousness. Things don't just go a wrong they go wrong 100% of the time. I will say I have never laughed so much in an action book because the incompetence of all the characters was so rampantly funny. Even a very bad book can teach what is truly bad thus allowing us to appreciate real talent. This author needs to keep his day job. Don't waste your time unless you are teaching writing and need an example of what not to do. I could go on and on but my review is better than the book and I know I am not a writer.
Triassic 2 had a lot of action. Starship crashing, battle with Dinosaurs, battle with natives and a warlord seeking revenge. It also had a terrible ending 3 Stars.
I really liked this book for several reasons. The action flowed smoothly and the characters were well written. The language was decent with no hardcore profanity. Would have given it another star just for that, but stars capped out at 5. Would definitely recommend for dino fiction readers. Book really ended Ina cliffhanger. Eagerly awaiting next book in the series.
I'm exhausted from reading this book! I love the characters and the twisting of the plots and subplots. New potential story lines pop out unexpectedly. A colony?! Hurry! Write the next book 🙊
Great characters and well written story line. I could feel the jungle and horror being in this prehistoric place. I hope there is more to read about in the future.
Sequel to Triassic. Entertaining but I will be very reluctant to buy another of this author's books because he doesnt tell the reader that none of them have an ending. C. 2021.
