The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Speaking of filling…..wait, that’s for later. Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!
This is book two of the Harrison Billionaires series it appears each book will read as a standalone however, why just read one when you can start at the beginning and keep reading through the series it won’t be a waste of time. Charlotte is struggling trying to make lemonade out of the lemon’s life have given her but with an ex and a daughter to take care of it isn’t easy for her. James is a sexy as all get out billionaire whose is in S. Florida sees her and instantly there is a connection and the magnetic pull won’t allow him to just walk away so he does the coin toss heads he help Charlotte and her little girl; tails he walk away. Yep, you guessed it heads an he does help her out moving them to NY, helping them find a place to stay and giving her a job but things aren’t as they always seem there are twist and turns, ups and downs that they must overcome however, James betrays her and is really mean will she forgive him for blaming her for something she didn’t do, after learning she didn’t do it will he be man enough to ask for forgiveness and can it lead to happiness?

In this book we meet Charlotte Peterson and James Harrison. When these two first meet James is in Florida on business. He goes to the coffee shop after having a bit to much fun the night before. Charlotte helps get him the perfect pick me up before he has to go to his meetings. Everyday after that for some unexplainable reason he feels drawn to go there and see Charlotte. On his last day in town he sees Charlotte has a visitor. Her daughter is sick and staying with her in the shop. When he comes back later he hears her boss firing her for having her daughter there. So he flips a coin heads he helps tails he goes on his way and never thinks of it again. Charlotte doesn't know what she will do now. Not only is she trying to provide for her and her daughter but her ex is making it really hard for her to get a decent job so that she can save up the money to go back to college. When she gets fired for having her sick daughter with her all she can do is crawl into herself for a few minutes just to figure everything out. When James shows up with a job offer she can't believe her luck is changing for the better that day. Can these two find a HEA they didn't know they wanted or will there always be something that stands in their way?

Amazing story. These characters really draw you in and won't let go to till the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Protector Secrets is the second book in the Harrison Billionaires series and is about Charlotte and James, and her young daughter Kaley. This book is an enjoyable mix of drama, intrigue, gossip, family, some danger, heartbreak, smokin' hot passion and more than a little emotion. The story-line well plotted and kept my interest and the characters were likeable, well all except for that one part where I wanted to cuff James upside his head for being such an idiot. But he does pull his head out of his you know what in the end and Charlotte is willing to accept the big apology before they ride off into the sunset. And to think it all started with a little flirting and a toss of a coin.

This is a well written storyline with wonderful characters. James had met Charlotte while in Ft. Lauderdale when he was there on business. He would buy his coffee and egg sandwiches in the mornings. On his last day he heard Charlotte get fired. He offered to move her and her daughter Kaley to New York for a job. She decides to take him up on his offer. James and Charlotte couldn't resist the attraction they had for each other but then someone started messing with them and trying to destroy their characters. James accused Charlotte of spreading lies and they had a bad blow up. There was action, drama, betrayal, lies, passion and steamy love. James was down in Florida on business when he meet Charlotte. When he walked into the coffee shop, there was just something about Charlotte that had him keep coming back. When Charlotte was fired for bringing her daughter to work, James (not knowing why) offered Charlotte a deal of a life time. She just has to relocation to New York.

Protector Secrets is a story that will keep you on the edge of your seat with danger, and suspense. Have you needing of cool drink and a fan with the heated passion and chemistry between James and Charlotte. And your heart will melt as James interacts with Charlotte's daughter.

This is a story that you will enjoy from start to finish.

This story is different. A billionaire that makes a decision with a toss of a coin. To help her heads to walk away tails. So what do you think happened? Heads it lands on. So now she gets help from him. She has problems that will follow her from Florida to New York. With her past showing up it makes people second guess her for no reason. With other things happening in his life they end up not together. BUt when things are figured out does she accept him back?

There was an instant connection between James and Charlotte when they met but he’s only there on business and thinking nothing will come of a little harmless flirting proceeds to do just that. But when she suddenly finds herself jobless it's James who sweeps in and offers her not only a new job but also a home and a heated secret arrangement.

But when her ex reappears on the scene the new life Charlotte been building for herself and her daughter is put a risk to find out what happens you will need to read this one for yourself.

I loved all the intrigue flowing through this book. There were a few toxic characters within these pages, they were a good foil to the rest of the characters. After what Charlotte want through growing up, she was an amazing woman, friend, and mom. She was a very bright woman. James didn’t realize how much he needed her to put everything in perspective. The descriptions of everything throughout made this a great read, I absolutely enjoyed the surprises, they had me turning those pages to the end.

Protector Secrets is the second book in Harrison Billionaires and its a wonderful office romance. This is James and Charlotte s story they are both enjoyable characters along with all of side characters that are well written. Their attraction was strong and their chemistry generated lots of sparks. The storyline was engaging and fun but offers a solid amount of drama and emotional turmoil as this couples relationship evolves into more than they ever imagined.

A strange thing happened to me while reading Charlotte and James' story, I found myself both liking and not liking this story. Over half of it is a combination of sweet, romantic, emotional and fun, but then there is that small part that really upset me. It is the standard, he does not belive her even though he has no reason not to, and she is bad at defending herself. Throw in some drama involving an abusive ex and a colleague at work fighting dirty for a promotion and you have a good mix.

The authors have given us a wonderful story that pulls us into the lives of James and Charlotte. They have an attraction and try to fight against it until they cannot fight it anymore. The story keeps you turning the pages with betrayal, suspense and steam.

This book is well written with great characters.
It has a bit of everything in that . I know once you start reading you will not be able to put it down.
James moves Charlotte to New York to work for him. They start a secret relationship. When something from James past is leaked he blames Charlotte who swears she had nothing to do with it but their relationship is at breaking point he feels he no longer trusts her. Will James find out who was guilty and be able to win Charlotte back. What will happen when Charlottes past catches up to her. Well deserving of 5*

James meets Charlotte in Florida, after the worst day of her life. Seeing her so down, with a young daughter, he flips a coin and tells himself he will help her if it is heads, and it is. He offers her a job and help in relocating to NYC. They work closely as she is his executive assistant and goes to all of his meetings as well.
The characters are strong after what they have dealt with, but still uneasy about relationships. The storyline has attacks on them from two different directions, one from her ex. The suspense and the misconceptions cause situations they regret later. The romance starts well, but when the tabloids and phone calls destroy it all, they have to start over later on. The ending was perfect and happy. So good to see.

This story had to make me laugh in that James flips a coin to decide whether he wants to step in and help Charlotte. It s deemed that he will, and provides a job for Charlotte. There is a strong attraction between the two, but there is so much that they need to work through in order to be together. This story was sweet, sad and just plain entertaining.
