Brides of Driegon

Kruze: Companion Novellas, Includes Allor

Rate this book
2 Companion Novellas in the Brides of Driegon Series, KRUZE & ALLOR

FOR KRUZE:

An alien dragon warrior claims she’s his fated mate, but she plans to return to Earth. Will he convince her to stay?

Clara
A hot alien dragonish dude seems to think I’m his mate. No way! Sure, I came to the Driegon Kingdom with the matched brides, but I was hired to take pictures. I didn’t expect to get lured into a secret matebonding ceremony called the Torrent. When my skin ignites like a sparkler during the reception—seriously need to see a doctor about that—Kruze takes flight with me as his intended bride. He says he’ll release me if he can’t prove we’re fated, but… If only his touch didn’t set my veins on fire.

Kruze
As a member of the king’s elite guard, I’m used to others obeying my commands, until I meet Clara. When her skin responds to the Torrent, and my horns flare, it’s clear she’s my fated mate. Following tradition laid out eons ago, I take her deep within the subterranean passages of Driegon, where I’ll initiate our pairing. Clara insists she’ll return to her home planet, but she agrees to give me three days to change her mind. With my heart at risk, there’s nothing I won’t do to show her she’s mine.

For ALLOR (never before released!)

Darcy: When an alien duke touches my hand, flames erupt up my arm. Allor says this means I’m his fated mate, but I’m here in the Driegon kingdom to work as a hair stylist. I’m not a mail-order bride. I’m returning to my thirteen-year-old son back on Earth, no matter what this supposed matebond says. But before I can tell him hell to the no, I’m abducted by a different alien and taken into the caverns deep below the kingdom. Allor gives chase, and we’re soon on the run with the bad guy hot on our tail.

Allor: One touch, and I know Darcy’s my fated mate. Convincing her she’s mine may take some time. When we’re trapped together far from the kingdom, we must work together to survive. One touch leads to another, and things heat up between us. Darcy insists she’ll return to Earth and there’s nothing I can do to persuade her to stay. Challenge issued and accepted.

Allor & Kruze are companion novellas to the Brides of Driegon Series. You can find the complete Brides of Driegon Series on Amazon.

AVA ROSS fell for men with unusual features when she first watched Star Wars, where alien creatures have gone mainstream. She lives in New England with her husband (who is sadly not an alien, though he is still cute in his own way), her kids, and assorted pets, including a yorkie pup and three cats.

These are really fun reads that give the whole series more depth, details, fascinating characters, action, and yeah, just more everything to bring the series vividly to life ;) These two novellas let you dive in nicely to the series and are filled with trials and suspense, as well as sweet hot love.

These a wonderful quick fix for those missing their Driegon tales. I loved the series and these are no less compelling. The world, creatures and characters are just amazing.

Kruze - Clara is rather inquisitive and loves a good adventure. She travelled across the galaxy to meet dragons, well see the Driegon people and work as a photographer for goodness sake. She take a little walk to see if the castle she is in has an actual dungeons and literally falls into Kruze. She sets off his Torrent but she has no idea what that is until they are dancing together and the next minute he has flow her through the roof! Yes the actual ballroom roof! Kruze knows that he has three days until Clara leaves for ever. Can he seduce her to stay? Will she let him?

Allor - Darcy is just doing her best to style the brides hair for this Driegon thingy and she is on a ship back home to her son. She meets Allor and thinks him very gentlemanly albeit a bit dragony but she has been very put off by Burok who is not taking no for an answer. Burok kidnaps Darcy and Allor cannot let her be taken. She has awoken his Torrent and is his mate. He manages to get her away from Burok but when he finds out she need to go home to her son he promises he will get her there. They both admit to feelings for each other but Darcy is torn and Allor would never ask her to choose him over her son. Is there a way that they can together at all or must they both end up with broken hearts?

First I need to point out that there are Fake 5 star comments on this side. All of them talk about 2 books in one. THAT gives them away for it is 3 stories of 3 different males and not 2. So those 5 stars are Fake and they did not read the book. Simple as that. And the 5 stars Fakes are not the only ones. Check the rating out and you see it.

3 books in one. Kruze, Skoar and Allor. Not to my taste. Same stuff, boring and the insta love thing is so unreal, it is not even funny. Both of the female characters in the first 2 books want to blow their partners right away. Give me a break.
Just primitive and no depth to any of the stories. Nothing about their alien home world and why they react the way they do.
Waste of time and money. I did not finished the second story for it insults my brain to read this third class nonsense. Very disappointing. Uneducated teenagers might talk and react like them w but not adults. . Both, females and males seem mentally retarded.
And I refuse to waste my time even starting reading book 3. Maybe one day if I feel like it, I will check the third one out, if I do I will update this.

This author is more miss than anything So far there are only a hand full of stories that where worth reading from her, the rest hardly made it between 2 and 3 stars. This one is not even 1 star for me. I would give it a 3 star minus if I could. There is really NOTHING in it that makes it worth reading, nothing.

We were kind of teased about what happened between Kruze and Clara through the other stories and...here they are! In all their technicolor Torrenting glory! As the group photographer, Clara absolutely DOES NOT expect to match with any of the aliens, but Kruze knows she's his Torrent mate at their first meeting. And since the whole Torrent thing is a bit of a mystery to the human ladies, she's caught off guard when they touch and spark and do all the fun stuff Torrent mates do.

Then they jaunt off for a few days to get to know one another and, well, THINGS HAPPEN. Not just sexy things (although those DEFINITELY happen also), but also not so fun things. Like being ambushed. Not fun. (No worries, though, they get through all their troubles and do what happily mated couples do. Yesssssss.)

As for Darcy and Allor, like Clara, Darcy isn't one of the potential brides, but the hairstylist brought along to keep the ladies looking good. The downside to her matching with Allor? She has a son back on Earth and she's determined to get back to him. Even though Allor is sexy and fights for her and pretty much does everything Driegonally possibly to keep her safe.

Just *thumbs up* all around.

These Driegons Will Steal Your ❤️

As a newsletter subscriber, I had already read Kruze & Clara’s story, so I already knew the trials and dangers they had to go through to find their HEA. It was a fabulous short story, and I was so excited to see another, even longer, story that was new to us...Allor. Allor is a Duke of the dragon-like Driegons, and Darcy is a single mom who is only on Driegon to do hair for the mail-order brides sent to Driegon as potential mates. Fate has other plans, because Allor recognizes Darcy as his Torrent mate as soon as he sees her. Too bad she is kidnapped by someone she had already rejected before Allor has time to convince her to give him a chance. Of course he follows her abductor, but even if he finds her, how can they make things work. He needs to stay on Driegon and she can’t leave her son on Earth. It seems hopeless...doesn’t it? Well, I thought so too...so do what I did and read the book to find out what happens!

I LOVE THIS SERIES! I’m so glad Ava Ross decided to return to Driegon! I never want this series to end! Well written prose with a top notch story, this latest work by Ross continues to please. Allor and Darcy are smoking hot together. Ross truly embraces diversity…Darcy is a single mom, raising a son. She is older than most heroines and I like that too. Ross remembers older women need love too. You get two books for the price of one here which is an excellent value. Download and enjoy readers. I guarantee you will read and reread this one! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Fun Extras !! . . .

These novella length prequel stories are very helpful in giving us additional information and story line. This world is so vivid and real, and the characters are well-depicted. Plenty of action and adventure will keep the reader’s attention. The stories are well-paced and provide us with the HEA we hope to find in a good romance, not always arrived at easily but worth the effort to arrive at that destination after whatever obstacles are in the way. That’s what makes it worth the effort!

This was one novel I could not put down, Ross does it again with this one by not only keeping you entertained with her well thought out storylines; but also, squeezing in that steamy spiciness we all love with our lovable aliens. And, this novella does double duty because not only are you getting one story, you are getting two....that's right, you heard me, that's twice the fun and twice the spiciness.. So grab you favorite drink, snacks, and comfy spot because you will not be putting this novel down until it's finished....trust me 😉

More happy ever afters

This book picks a couple of the ancillary staff members to find their happy ever afters. Darcy is the hair stylist, while Clara is the photographer.
Both stories are novella length but filled with excitement. They both end rather abruptly in my opinion. I have read the other books and know what happens further into the future. New readers might feel as if they are missing something. So I suggest reading at least a couple of the main books before picking up this one.

Two Driegons, Kruze and Allor, two human females, Clara and Darcy, two great short reads. Both novellas have interesting characters, steam, action, and some twists. I've only read one other book in this series, but they read like stand alone books. Great addition to the Brides of Driegon and you can read all the books for FREE with your KU subscription.

Good

Although this is the fifth book in the Driegon series, chronologically these stories take place before book one.
Kruze is actually part of the ongoing storyline we see throughout the Driegon series, while Allor takes place separately and is only alluded to in a couple of the books.
These, of course, don’t stand alone as they are novellas set in the Driegon world!

Two short, though entertaining novellas with romance, excitement and danger in the Driegon cavern world.

Two wonderful stories in one.

I really liked these short but sweet novellas. They were entertaining and enjoyable. The characters were interesting and likable. I did want to smack them on occasion about needing to communicate more but it worked out. I liked how the stories ended but I do wish there was more. I would have liked an epilogue or two further out. I recommend reading this book with these novellas.

These are great little novella/prequel stories. I love this world and it’s characters so much that it was nice to read about them again. These novellas have the same great love stories with a dash of conflict, a little sexy, a bunch of love and a beautiful happily ever after. I love Ava Ross’s writing and always look forward to more!

The book was short and sweet. Loved how you put two stories in one book with plenty of action, excitement, drama, both driegons finding their mates, and steamy sexy scenes that leaves you saying ahh with awesome characters. Definitely a must buy and keep them coming they are awesome?

Thrills and chills await you whether or not this is your first glimpse of the Driegon males and the females from earth. Their subterranean world offers delights as well as dangers. If you are intrigued by descendants of dragons you’ll enjoy getting to know Kruze, Allor and Skylar.

Oh my

Kruse and Clara are definitely had a wild trip, but it was excellent. Allor's story was more than crazy. Both stories had someone trying to take a mate from her destiny, but loved the sacrifice Allor was willing to take make.

3 rövidke mellék szál, novella 3 különböző párról, akik a sorozatban szóba kerültek. Semmi szuper extra tartalmat nem adott. Túléltem volna nélkülük is, a középső kivételével gyakorlatilag ismétli önmagát a sorozat.

A great short story to enjoy in a few hours of down time. Kruze is delightful and possessive while Clara is a down to earth, funny, sunshine persinality bringing light and life to Kruzes world.
