Cyborg
Cyborg is a cybernetic anti-novel transmitted from the Future.
"The nature of the novel has forever been re-purposed, re-routed and experimented with and upon, over the centuries. Though few have achieved something as specific, direct, harsh, corrosively manic, and brave - as this imagery-based novel that is theologically unashamed in its experimentational form - as R.G Vasicek's cyborg.
What Vasicek has done for this era of authors and great experimenters is, once again like the greatest of experimental/Avante Garde artists do and have done, is show a new way of processing, experiencing, and breaking down a novel - texturally, visually, and metaphysically.
This book is an experience, a corruption of perception and processing, where material information is photographed, processed, altered, repurposed, and evolved - stamped - virally injected - influenza projected - ectoplasmically - onto page, then onto retina, finally into consciousness; a deluge of full-on black ink - built out of glitchy, indistinct, vague photographic forms, resembling processed images, but are evolved inkblots amassing inside the book's interior substructure themselves. Warping. Taking control. Paving a way for yet another literary scene to awaken, to take comfort in the fact that you can write and create as passionately, and as gorgeously as R.G Vasicek does."

Not sure if this is a novella, a graphic novel, or a piece of art all on its own, undefinable. A cyborg trying to understand their own identity. I reboot. I reboot. I reboot.

Brought this on a whim. Wanted some book recommendations, my mate told me he blurbed this and he thought I'd like it. I fucking did. Lovely inkiness and images. A weird one, different. But a good one.

dull, basic-bitch images and equally dull text. if this is the future of the novel form like the blurb on the back implies, we are in for one toothless future.
