Herbs is a book in the DK Grow series. It is a lovely little paperback with lots of information on herbs in an attractive book. Its chapters cover; why grow herbs, herbs for every garden, using herbs, and lots of information about the individual different types of herbs. It contains some great photos, lots of information, great tips and is a great book to use for reference. For my Mum it Will be very useful.

Useful information, even though it's all for the Northern Hemisphere. Frustrated by the "A to Z of Herbs", as one would expect the herbs to be listed in alphabetical order by the common name, which is used throughout the text, but no! Instead they are listed by the scientific name - a name most gardners are unlikely to know - so one has to look up the common name in the index to find out where the information on the herb is listed. Once you do find it, it is useful information though - definitely w0rth a look.
