The best one yet! - Perfect to listen to in this Halloween time to get the Halloween spirit going.

This really has been the best one thus far though. It was suspense, interesting and never dull or slow. The villains where interesting and the relationship between Nelly and her parents were very sweet. It was quick on the mystery but unlike the previous book it didn't feel forced in the same way. It felt much more, how to say, "authentic" with two vampires suddenly appearing at Nelly's door without her knowing what they are, and then for Nelly to subtly spy on them after finding them outside again by coincidence.

LOVED the idea with time being a white shimmering powder. I could really see it in front of me, beautiful. The ending scene with Nelly spreading the powder from the clock tower is really a magical scene that I wish to paint myself. I love when books give me wonderful scenes like that!

Also, Nelly made a mistake! Of course it worked out in the end, but I love the fact that the author lets her make some mistakes here and there, and sometimes (or, quite often) being unsure yet brave about the tasks ahead. It makes her feel even more human and a much more relatable character.

Hvor meget mon er inspireret af Michael Endes Momo? For der er godt nok nogle påfaldende ligheder mellem skurkene i de to bøger..

Lyssnade på ljudboken som lästes av Gunilla Röör och det var så roligt att lyssna på dialekterna som trollkarlarna hade. Intressant att de stal tid.
