Self-efficacy of individuals and organizations is important to impact student learning. Self-efficacy is raised through protocols, evidence of teacher trust, and seeing improvement within weeks not months. Building leaders and teacher leaders must understand one another, truly collaborate, and understand impact.

The Instructional Leadership Team at the school where I teach read this together. It’s a useful book that gave structure to our conversations about the benefits, power, and process for leading together rather than using a hierarchical structure for leadership.
