5 stars. Haven’t read Ava Freeman in a while so this was great. She’s one of my favorites for a reason. I loved this collection of short stories. There are six stories included and while all of them were very good and sexy my favorites were ’The Hunger’, ‘Please Me’, and ‘Rhapsody’ which was the longest story in the collection. Those were the standouts. This was well written, sexy as hell, and there was something for everyone. Now I've Sade's song 'Sweetest Taboo' stuck in my head and I'm not mad at it. Anyways, this was great and I loved it.

A sexy little collection of f/f short stories. Some of them were just middling, others were pretty good. "The Hunger" and "Special Ingredient" were on the short side, but I liked them a lot because they did a good job of establishing tension and chemistry, without having a lot of time for build-up. They were also the hottest, imo. They all had fun premises, and even though romance wasn't the focus of all of the stories, a few of them ended up being really sweet. I look forward to trying this author's longer works soon; hell yes to more queer black love. <3

A collection of sapphic short stories filled to the brim with spice. Usually collections of short stories are a hit or miss for me but the author actually managed to consistently give us engaging stories back to back, some i liked more than other, but interesting nevertheless. I did not anticipate how great this was going to be. The author truly showed her range with this one. I am blown away. Also the first story was set in the 1900's which i absolute lovvvvvvedddd, we really got a glimpse of what the Black sapphic scene was like during the Harlem renaissance. Great stuff !

The majority were solid

The first story was kind of boring but the rest were outstanding. Great story structure and characters . Another great effort from Ava Freeman

Wow!

This is the first I've read from this author, but I guarantee it won't be the last. This anthology is memorable.
