Alpha Elijah of the Green Mountain Pack had a simple plan—to see his brother safely settled in with the Strongblood Pack and return home. He did not expect to encounter something he did not even believe in—his fated mate. Yet, he cannot escape the demanding allure of the bratty Strongblood omega who tests his patience and his resolve.

Wren spent most of his puphood abused and deprived by his alpha father. With his brother ruling the pack, he has experienced more freedom and been allowed to put off the inevitable mating that will fulfill his shifter role as an omega. He is terrified by the idea of being mounted and bred and a hidden confidant only serves to fuel his fear. Elijah’s arrival is making a resentful Wren face his future sooner than expected as his heat is being triggered.

Elijah and Wren are united in their resistance to a mating between them even as Wren’s brother forces them together. The Gods may have preordained the outcome of their meeting, but worse is that despite Elijah’s and Wren’s fervent denials of that destiny, their hearts and wolves know better. They are waging a two-front battle while careening headlong toward their fates.

His Wild Omega
By Samantha Cayto

Alpha Elijah arrives with his brother to help get him settled in with his new Alpha, Graydon, and his new pack. He never believed in fated mates, but he just might be wrong about that. Elijah is immediately drawn to Graydon's little brother, an omega named Wren. When Graydon gives Wren to Elijah both Elijah and Wren are angry. Elijah because he thinks omegas should not be seen as a possession to be given away and Wren because he has no choice and has to obey his brother. What follows is not only a battle of wills between Elijah and Wren, but also Wren and Graydon, Elijah and Graydon, and Wren and a fellow misguided wolf.

This series is an offshoot of The Rogue Pack series and should be read afterwards. Unfortunately I didn't really care so much for this book which was a disappointment as I gave almost all the books in The Rogue Pack series 4-5 stars. There was just something about Elijah that kept me apart from him where my feelings were concerned. I couldn’t connect with him. He was too stoic with little personality. Wren on the other hand I adored. He was snappy, willful, and independent. The ending felt abrupt too. I would've loved to have had an epilogue that showed Wren settled in later on with his new pack.

It's a spin-off to The Rogue pack series and I didn't like it one bit.
I felt no chemistry between Elijah and Wren and generally the plot was weird and unnecessarily dramatic. There was seemingly no space for Elijah and Wren to get to know each other.

I love The Rogue pack series, but if this is where this universe is going to go, I'm afraid I won't continue with this spin-off :(

Loved it!! I hope we get to see more of Elijah and Wren. I’d love a novella or even a whole other book following them and the whole process of integrating Wren into the Green Mountain pack. I hope this book leads to a Strongblood pack series…. And a Green Mountain pack series!! I can’t get enough of these books!

Okay!! Heads up...spoilers included.
After reading all 'The Rogue Pack' series and loving all the books, this one kind of hit a miss. The Elijah that we met earlier in the Rogue's pack lands was too different from the Elijah visiting the Strongbloods! This Elijah was sort of annoying while the earlier Elijah was soo likable and protective of his brother. I did not feel the chemistry between Wren and Elijah at all. Like when exactly did they fall in love? when one was running from the other while the other chases? I think not! and on that note, what exactly was Wren running from?? And what was the deal with Elijah and Dane's fight? Pointless! I mean, they both want to protect 'the boy' and instead of talking and understanding each other, they opt for teeth and claws? Come on!!
It wasn't bad, but I did not enjoy it as much as I did the others.

Fated mates

The wait is over and the next installment is here. I liked that this book picked up essentially where the last book ended. I think it could still be read as a stand-alone but would probably be most enjoyed if you read at least the book before this one. We got to visit the rogue pack for a brief time, & got to see the more primitive lifestyle of the strong bloods. I’m a little diss appointed we didn’t get the see Elijah bring his mate home but maybe next time? I’m not sure if this is the end of the series or not. This book was written in a way that could go either way, for which I appreciate. I of course never want the books to end since I love the authors style and take on pack life.

New spin off series

Thrilled to see that this series has another great spin off series. I really love the world that this author has built with earthier shifters with a lot of pack dynamics and sweet love stories. Great first book in this one.

Highly entertaining. I just wish we could have seen how Wren impacts the Green Mountain Pack!

I read all of the Rogue Pack series and mostly enjoyed them; however, I am getting tired of the omega's acting like they can change their biology just because they don't like how it impacts their lives. It is their biological imperative to have sex until they conceive or die, not just get sick but DIE. Yet, still all of them fight being bred. The one's who were so terribly abused did have my sympathy, but they still needed to mate or die once they came into heat. So, for the ones who had a choice before they came into heat, why not act like adults and pick a partner before it gets to the point of someone else making the choice because the omega himself is out of his mind. Some reviewers have called the series "rape-y" because once the omega gets too far gone, their minds don't seem able to process the "mate or die a horrible death" part of the dynamic. The alpha of the pack then picks a male to breed the omega, usually a male who is enamored with the omega, rather than let the omega die. The wolves who wanted to mate them all treated the omega's well yet ALL the omegas gave the dominant wolves hell in one form or the other. That gets old after a while. Actually, I misspoke, Ethan was the only omega who acted like a mature adult.

In this book, Wren, the omega was actually difficult to like he was so bratty. I just wish the author would make SOME of the omega's act more like adults and less like whiney brats. I will probably continue with this series as long as it stays in KU but it is starting to feel like reading the same book just with different names for the MC's.

Rounded up to 3 stars.

I can’t help feeling like this installment was not at all the sequel that was promised after Omegas Unchained. First off, I don’t know that I like either of the MCs. Wren is annoying and Elijah’s personality seems to have done a 180 after the last book. Second off, the romance didn’t feel genuine after all the drama and head-butting that these characters did. And then there was that ending…
