Tragedy threatens everything that matters to Erin. Will her family survive?
This is Book 4 in the Best Selling Her Royal Bodyguard Lesbian Romance Series. It is recommended that you read the series in order. The books are hot and steamy romances with explicit scenes.
Sergeant Erin Kennedy and her new wife, Princess Alexandra want to have children and build a family together, their Royal Family. Being a lesbian couple, they knew it wouldn't be easy, but they couldn't have foreseen the difficulties it would bring.
Will they be able to build their little family when everything seems to be against them?

The first initimate scene after their wedding, the sub/domme scenario was more awkward than hot. Good thing the story got better after that. It was sweet seeing Alex and Erin planning for, and making their family happen.
Good book, but it was too short.

There is just something sweet about Erin and Alex. Their connection, their loyalty and their love. Each book in the series brings us closer to them and their strife with what’s happening in their world especially coming from Alex’s own mother. I loved the names appointed to their children. Looking forward to see how Erin and Alex handle parenthood especially now that Alex is The Queen. Add in Vic and her little bundle and the next book should be just as exciting. Margaux Fox writing in this series has pulled us in so deep that we are so anxiously waiting for the next one.
First part of book is pleasing but by going through so much of Vic's life by the second part, I've lost the interest .. she pinched a space of the story that supposed to be about the two adorable characters I follow the series for. Vic is not welcome, and not attractive character to spend time on knowing her news. Sorry
Continuing in the vein of the series and with, in some ways, an unsurprising storyline, this fourth in the lives of Erin and Alex manages to be utterly emotional and compelling.
It has romance, love, hot sex but also sadness, joy and I defy anyone with or without an ounce of estrogen in their body to keep dry eyes.
There is also humour at the delightful Vic and her down to earth shenanigans. I'm hoping my suspicions about the storyline on book 5 come true in her department!
The only downside for me was the length. At less than 100 pages, it was a compelling one night rollercoaster rather than a multi session epic. Probably for the best as my crying wouldn't have let me read much more but the end did catch me rather by surprise.
I loved Book 4! I finished it in one sitting. I'm thrilled to have Alex & Erin back in my life. I'm so happy that "he" was their sperm donor. He's perfect! I love his character. I hope to see more of him in Book 5 playing the good "uncle" that he is. Alex is not the only one who's pregnant. What was a pleasant surprise. I hope that Victoria and Julia will be official. I live for Alex & Erin's love story and steamy love scenes. I highly recommend Her Royal Bodyguard book series. I'm so glad there will be a Book 5! Can't wait to read about the kids and our future queen!
Oh my, what Princess Alexandra and the new Princess Erin go through to begin their royal family. I was quite emotional reading this installment. Princess Alexandra's mother is such an evil person, but her father, the king, tries to make everything right. And their friend Vic is always there to share her shenanigans and lighten the mood, but this time even her story was poignant. I'm hoping book 5 will give her the chance at her own HEA and set the trajectory for the future for Alex and Erin!
4 stars. Definitely the most emotional one in the series thus far. Loved it. Alex and Erin are parents to triplets now! It was beautiful and emotional but I will say that it was Vic’s story that really did it for me. I thought it was handled so well and made me love her character even more. When she was giving birth and was on some medication and called Julia ‘Swoolia’ to her face had me laughing. This was my favorite of the series without a doubt and I’m excited to see how everything wraps up in the next book.
As the Royal couple continues they want a family and begins the process. As they learn that not only do they have two babies, but that the king has cancer and only so long to live. When the couple founds out that have three babies they have to make a huge decision. As Alexa learns she will be Queen soon and a mother she's under slot of stress. The babies are here but still have a ways to go, the king has passed so Alexa is now the Queen. Can't wait for the next book
Very nice story and a nice continuation of Vic's storyline as well. I like her development as well as Alex and Erin dealing with marriage and the birth of their children. I do really like their trust and how they're shown to be trusting in each other. I want that for Vic and Julia as well. I don't know if Vic and Julia will make it as a couple, but it seems that Vic trusts Julia in ways she doesn't trust others (even her best friend Alex).
Another great addition to the series. Erin and Alex go through the wonders of starting a family, plus doing it with the loom of Alex being queen at one point.
Of course, Vic had to get pregnant and I hope we can see more about Julia in the next book.
Book 5 is coming in Sept and I really want to know what life brings to the new royal babies.
Alexandra and Erin are now married, both princesses, and now it'd time to make a baby. If you made it to book 4 you already know there are going to be some bumps along the way from surprise pregnancies, swoolia, thr king and of course you will wish that the queen would just go some where. Nicolas will still be an MVP
I enjoyed the continuation to Alex and Erin's beautiful love story. And even though I took a sort of break in the series, I had no problem remembering the first three books! I will be honest and say that the writing style wasn't/isn't particularly for me, so my rating is mostly based on the plot and the characters.
I am going to be a little biased but also very proud of this latest instalment. I'm Scottish, therefore I beamed with all the relevant and true things that were said within the book.
Another great instalment, page turner and looking forward to what is coming next!
The saga continues lots babie everywhere skinny dipping steamy hot sex snd a few more surprises along the way. Quite a short one this time seemed a bit rushed id could have easily been a bit longer and a better book
It's a great novel about a relationship as it matures and love deepens, thtoe in the Royal family and the first gay Queen and her wife, the evil homophobic mother and you have a great series!
Short sweet and Erin & Alexandra's story continues. The King loves his daughter and has paved the way for her smooth transition to the throne. Alex's mother is evil, wicked, mean AND nasty. Vic's a treasure and maybe she'll get her chance with Swoolia.? I have to wait for the next one.
So there was quite a bit of drama in this one but it was an excellent addition to the series. I'm looking forwards to see more of Julia and Vic becoming a thing.
I really, really enjoyed this series so much. I love the two main characters and the description the writer uses. I fell I am there with them wherever they are, in the hospital or riding horses. But I truely love a princess story. Now to read book 5
It started out a little slower, but OMG the last 20 pages is nuts and amazing and so many other words. I loved it, and hated certain people even more, which good books will definitely do.
