Enjoyed this one just as much as the first. So many events keeping the story plunging forward, and the whole thing shadowed by her love and passion for food 😂 Cracks me up and reminds me of my own love of indulgence hahaha. Onto book 3!

A real good easy read and different take on a vampire story, not only modern times but a new story direction I haven't seen before. Love the originality and characters. A great cliff hanger ending!

So, at the beginning it was kind of hard for me to read just because it's not my normal type of book. As I got more into it I actually started to like the story and wanted to see where it was going. It did not disappoint, and totally went in a direction I wasn't expecting. Love how she writes.

Another great story to the series! The author once again brings strong characters and weaves an interesting vampire romance. She had me glued to the pages from start to finish. Her scenes are painted in vivid detail and the story moves quickly and smoothly. I loved this book and would recommend reading.

You wanted vampires?

You gottem!

Owen and Kaitlyn are all set to begin a life of human normality. That dream doesn't last for long, though. After presenting Kaitlyn with a gift of love that surpasses the imagination, both find themselves summoned/kidnapped by the Syneidrion. Of course, Kaitlyn soon learns that the Synedrion are the council of a community of vampires that number in the thousands. And, it is Kaitlyn that is a threat.

I found this book to be a bit darker than the first installment in the series, but the love between Owen and Kaitlyn is stronger than ever. In this book they find themselves in a situation over Kaitlyn's blood and what it could possibly mean to the vampire world. Throughout the story they are fighting to find a way out of their situation. Another good read.

This book was a little different than I usually read, and there were some things I didn't particularly care for. However I really, really loved Kaitlyn and Owen togerher, and enjoyed reading about them. I'm pretty anxious to see the next book after the cliffhanger, and hope to see them get their HEA.

Action, enemies, blood, fun and more. Kaitlynn and Owen seem to have a hard time staying away from each other, but as they take a trip what could go wrong? Can they survie the vampirs that want her blood? You do have a cliffhanger.

I received and advanced ARC copy of Remortality, the second book in the Heartsblood Series by Selina A. Fenech to give my honest and unbiased opinion.
Owen and Kaitlyn have experienced so much craziness in the beginning of their relationship that I was hoping they would catch a break this book. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The vampire council found out about Owen’s humanity and Kaitlyn’s special blood. Kaitlyn was kidnapped by the starved and they feared for their relationship, lives, and sanity.
I love Owen and his acknowledgement of his fears and insecurities. Also, how he tries to be the best human for himself and for Kaitlyn. I was starting to get annoyed with Kaitlyn and how she questioned his feelings for her, and the strength of their love based on comments that others made regarding finding love in strenuous situations. But I had to reflect on all she has been through and gave her a pass on her doubts. I love this series and cannot wait for the next chapter in their lives. Happy ever after, please.

I was so engrossed in the story that I kept reading, straight into book three, without leaving this feedback to encourage you to get the book, nope the series.
May contain 1 or 2 spoilers?

This book continues on exactly where the last awesome story Unlife finished. With Kaitlyn chasing her dream of becoming an actress. Scoring a big part is exactly where she wants to be, well maybe not exactly. Wrapped in Owen’s big strong human arms is where she really wants to be, but filming is keeping them apart….or so she thinks.
Owen surprises her with a trip that really does change her life forever. They both go through the ups and downs of life and afterlife together but no exactly how you would think.
You have to read it to believe it, believe me. Omg if this doesn’t bring them closer together I don’t know what would.
I will leave that up to you to find out, so please make sure you do yourself that favour.

Here we go again.... In another gripping and intense read, what was supposed to be a relaxing vacation, turns into another fight for survival against more vampires that they can count. Only this time its not only Kaitlyn fighting, its Owen as well to keep his humanity. With the help from the most unlikeliest of allies, it's a race against the clock to get out alive or sucked dry trying. I honestly couldn't put it down. The amount of detail and personality Selina puts into her characters, she whisks you away into their realm where you can feel and see what is going on in every page.

Kaitlyn and Owen go through soooo much in this book. Kaitlyn thought that all her dreams were coming true when it came to being an actress. Owen watched as Kaitlyn became everything she wanted. He wanted to surprise her by giving her a gift, not knowing that in doing so, it would put her in even more danger than he thought was possible. So many different people want Kaitlyn for her blood. Some to use her, some to kill her, and others to have her make a baby for them. Things move so quickly and it seems like more danger is around the bend. Can’t wait to read the third book.

This closely follows the events in book 1, so best to read them in order. Kaitlyn is trying to move on with her life, but then she runs into Owen. So much has changed for them both, yet they can't stay away from one another. They take a trip to Europe and so much happens. They run into some old friends and old enemies as well. I really enjoyed this and can't wait to see what happens for them next.

Wow, what a great sequel! Ms. Fenech has a true gift. The book grabbed me wholly, pulled me in completely. At times I almost forgot to breathe… it was THAT edge-of-my-seat! So different. So intriguing. So interesting! And now I can’t wait for the third book. I don’t have to wait long, luckily!

Kaitlyn and Owen are off to Europe and things do not do smoothly as expected. Meet new people, escape new people, the usual European vacation right. It was funny and entertaining and made me laugh and shake my head a few times at Kaitlyn. An interesting take on vampires and their culture.
