We were living in a state of ignorant bliss. Ready to move on, ready to heal.

Our plan was working until we found that small slip of paper inside our apartment. A promised message that I would never truly be free. Now, the life I thought I'd have with Logan was quickly becoming no life at all. Cutting ties with everyone I know; Logan and I decided to start a new life, hoping to leave the past behind us, along with that piece of paper.

Three thousand miles and one year later, Logan and I were still struggling with the choices we’d made. The guilt I had for leaving my best friend, Abby remained, devouring me from the inside out. But then, in a twist of fate, Abby came back into my life, offering a chance to mend our broken friendship.

But just like Abby’s unexpected return, the demons from my past quickly began to resurface. Pieces of my past continued to haunt me, forcing me to question whether the life Logan and I had built was real or whether everything wasn't as it seemed.

My past had returned, determined to prove my life wasn’t truly mine.

It never was.

First of all, I think there needs to be an area that I can click that says that I survived this book! My heart, my poor poor heart, almost leaped into my throat! Thank goodness for Canadian Thanksgiving because I was forced to put the book down to cook in between. It gave my heart the break it desperately needed. I didn’t want to put it down, it was that good. Lena and Logan are so good together. Logan is just so sweet and caring. I was so happy for them especially after Dissipate. This book had me feeling such a huge range of emotions. I was happy, sad, frustrated, scared and had me questioning so much not to mention the OMG I DIDN’T see that coming moment. I am on such a book hangover now. All I have left to say is that this book is amazing and I highly recommend reading it. Brittany is seriously talented!

I always enjoy brittany's writing, she has great world building and I can always picture myself in the world she creates for her characters. This book had my heart pounding and my mind racing. The suspense element is well done and kept me quessing. This was the second book in the series and brought the story together perfectly. If you like Romantic Suspense, Romance or reading in general, you will love this book!

Wow, just wow. I love this story so much. I had high expectations because Brittany is an amazing author but I could not have anticipated this. The way she keeps you thinking and guessing is pure but torture but oh, so worth it.

This is book #2 in the Back To Me Series and is a real romantic suspense romance novel. This dark romance series is a series to be read in order to fully appreciate the story line and all the amazing characters.
Book #1 Dissipate
Book#2 Mine
Book #3 Back To Me

Logan is a real nice guy that you cant help but love. Logan and Lena are both giving it it a good go and are trying to live there lives the best they can, however after coming home one night and realizing that someone has been in the house the fear is still there and its as strong as ever. They want to feel safe and they think the best way to do this is to move house. They are both still looking over there shoulders because they can still feel him around them but they are still trying to carry on. There is still along way to go and there is still a lot of bumps in the road ahead and they are doing the best that they can.

This book will have you on the edge of your seat in parts and you will love the twists and turns that this author has put into this story. The story flows and you will turn the pages so fast that you will be gripped. The way that this author has written this series has been awesome and reading this book and the others in this series has been gripping. I loved the way that she has written the characters and after reading the first book I was totally invested in this story and couldn't wait to see where this story would go. This book really will have your emotions all over the place and I was happy, sad worried all at the same time for these two and was completely rooting for them throughout.

I just loved this book! Having already read all of Brittany's previous work, I already knew Lena and Logan and despised Julian, so I was ready to dive in... She did not disappoint. Lena and Logan are together and trying to live a happy life despite their horrible ordeal with Julian. They were both left scarred, and not just physically. After coming home to a home invasion and a scary situation that has Julian written all over it, they decide it's best to move away and start somewhere fresh... but even after establishing a new life, they are always looking over their shoulders, missing their old life and friends... After a few years, things start to go haywire, little things start happening that Lena keeps to herself for fear of Logan wanting to uproot them again. They are both doing well in their fields and life had been looking up. There are lots of twist and turns in this book. It's full of emotion and suspense... I devoured this book. Really well written!

Brittany has a way of writing in details that literally transport me into the book. It makes every story come alive in such a way that I don't want it to end. Here's a play by play of my reactions while reading.

➡️Oh my gosh, don't go in there!

➡️Logan is the sweetest freaking book boyfriend 😭

➡️ Tell him! Tell him right now!

➡️ Don't do it, do not respond to that!

➡️ Oh damn, that was steamy 🔥

➡️ Don't go by yourself!!!

➡️ I need a fan, holy cow that was hot 🔥

➡️ Omg. Omg. Omg 🙈🙈🙈

This is a steamy thriller that will obliterate the seat you're on the edge of. This sequel to Dissipate is exactly the follow up I hoped for.

First, let’s take a deep breath because I survived this book! It was touch and go for a while there. This is one of those stories that you don’t want to put down but you have to because you need to get your heart rate in check. I thought I was ready for the suspense after reading Dissipate but nope, Brittany had my anxiety through the roof once again!
I had so many emotions running amok. I was so happy to see Lena and Logan in a better place. I wanted them to have their happily ever after, they deserved it. Then things started going hanky and I was questioning everyone. And I mean EVERYONE! How I lost faith in every character so quickly I’m not really sure but it happened and it took some time for them regain my trust. Even when the dust settled I was left sitting with my mouth on the floor. From the first page to the last this book brought it’s A game and I seriously couldn’t get enough.

🔥 so good!

Brittany is some kind of evil genius of an author who writes these characters and they stick with you like barnacles demanding not to be put down until you’ve nearly set fire to the oven in a trance of getting through just one more chapter. (That happened, windows were opened & pizza was ordered). I absolutely love this continuation of Logan and Lena and am feeling the full effect of a book hangover.

You absolutely must read this series in order. You should do it right now.

This is the first story by this author that I have read and I thoroughly enjoyed the suspense element plus the romance too.

Lena and Logan are already together in this story which makes it slightly different as there’s no big breakup and second chance for them, their second chance is much greater. This is certainly Lena’s second chance to find love, though. A lot happens to this couple in a relatively short space of time but then again that happens in life too. I liked both lead characters because they were hard-working, caring toward others, and dedicated to each other, plus they were just plain nice, for want of a better word, people.

The suspense element does have you guessing and although I did guess correctly eventually it wasn’t my first guess. There’s low-level action throughout but when the action heats up it really skyrockets to an incredible high where you are literally wondering how things are going to work out for the best.

I have to say I would really like to see Max and Candace get their story, oh the fireworks they would have! 😆

Holy what did I just read? Mine is my very first book from Brittany Taylor and boy was it intense and emotional and twisted! I will say that not having read the first book in the series (even though this is touted as a standalone), I was a little lost on some of the references mentioned here. That being said, the gaps were filled in quickly and didn't take away from my overall enjoyment of the current events.

I liked that I could feel the connection between Lena and Logan from the first page. Their love was deep and pure and brought out the best in them as they worked to rebuild their lives from the pain of their past. And they were both so dang likeable. Kind, trusting and hardworking.

But what a mess they made when their past seemingly won't leave them be. I get that they were trying to protect one another but I just wanted to lock them in the shed and make them talk to each other about what was going on.

I really enjoyed the way that Brittany Taylor steadily amped up the drama. Giving hints of what was going on here and there but not enough to reveal the full picture until it was too late. And when that final turn hit, I was just as blindsided as Logan and Lena. My heart was pounding and I was holding my breath as everything played out. I still feel breathless from the intensity of it all. From start to finish, Lena and Logan's story was sexy, twisty and jam packed with feels and I couldn't put it down.

I want to start out by saying that Mine is one of those stories that a person just doesn't read, nope, it's an experience, and as such I barely survived it. The moment I started this story was the moment that life ceased to matter to me because I wasn't putting it down for anything (luckily my kids are grown adults so I didn't have that to worry about). There are just some books that I refuse to give any details past what readers know from the blurb, because it's an experience that everyone needs to go in blind for. I was on the edge of my seat with heart racing, and f-bombs dropping as each new twist came to light. Everyone was a suspect in my eyes because this author has the EPIC writing chops for a full on mind sc**w of the highest order, and I'll never be the same. After I finished, I still couldn't do life quite yet because of the hangover that I was left with was out of control plus I needed to collect my jaw off the floor. I simply CANNOT WAIT to read more of this series, and HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

Having read the other 2 books in this series I was curious what Brittany had in store for Lena and Logan. I quickly found myself sad for them. I just wanted them to be ok! They tried to do the right thing for each other. They tried to get a way and start anew. It's obvious they are both still healing. I really liked how Brittany wrote them and their struggle. I wondered if things were they way they seemed and was VERY surprised at the ending. Well done!

I definitely enjoyed this way more than the first book.
I was finally able to connect with the characters which always helps.
The plot will keep you on your toes, every time you think you've solved the puzzle it will lead you in a different direction.
Considering the way the first book was I'll leave my review at this as don't want to give anything away.
4 and a half stars.

OMG, I can't believe what Logan and Lena went through. There is so many misunderstandings and no communication between them. You will
be very surprised at the end of the story. Loved reading this book. Highly recommend
