Liam:

Growing up a military brat, I had planned to serve my country for the rest of my life, or at least until they forced me to retire. Our last mission forced us all to step back and reevaluate what we wanted, but our commander Silas had another formidable plan in mind, one that we all wholeheartedly agreed with putting into effect. What I never expected to find was that one woman who could bring me to my knees, vanquishing my old demons and providing me with a new outcome on life. Making her mine.
When a threat against Athena forces her and Liam to flee to a safe house until the brothers can locate where it's coming from, they find themselves deep in Amish country, living as husband and wife. Can Athena and Liam navigate through their twisted lives and nightmares to come out on the other side as one cohesive unit? Or will the lengths they need to go to and the hurdles to jump be more than this couple can endure?

I loved it. The Nelson sister gets her happy ever after and with total badass to. It was fun, and I can't wait to read the next book.

Brought joy to this reader’s heart
Athena, a home school teacher, and Liam, a member of the Nelson brothers’ security team, have been making eyes at each other for months. As the story progresses a situation throws them together, a change in their relationship occurs, and finding out the answers they need may not come in time to save them. Liberty Parker and Darlene Tallman brought joy to this reader’s heart in Alpha. This next journey in the Nelson Brothers world starts out running and keeps moving in in an exciting direction and the wait will most likely kill me.

Athena is the only sister and Jona's twin in the Nelson brother's ghost team.
Athena has her own demons in her past that she is fighting through. A school teacher who only wants to help finds herself in danger.
Liam has of course noticed the Athena, her beauty her kindness and somewhat shyness, however her brothers are very protective and he has kept his distance.
Liam is given the job to protect Athena with his life. What he wasn't expecting was to give her his heart.
A sweet treat to read there story. Looking forward to reading more.

Great read
Athena got her story and Liam was a great fit for her. I enjoyed their story but really want more. I can't wait to read more on the Nelson's. Athena learned to be strong although with her brothers and Liam she's always protected. Liam watched her closely and he respects her. They're hideaway to protect Athena turned into they're finally being honest about how the felt about one another. Lovely story.

Liam is a member of the Nelson Brothers’ Ghost Team and Athena is a home schoolteacher and their sister and they have been attracted to each other for months. Liam takes Athena away to a New Amish community when she is in danger. Liam and Athena’s book was filled with action, drama, love and laughs. Cannot wait for more; loving this new series.

I love it when Darlene Tallman and Liberty Parker write a book together. This book was an amazing read I loved Liam and Athena so much. I can't wait to read more from this series.

Loved it
I was a bit leary about reading this book, but figured I would give it a try. So glad that I did. It was very enjoyable. Good characters and plot along with some good twists and turns plus some humor. Looking forward to the next book in this series.

The Nelson Brother's are back and now Liam who's part of their security team gets to share his story with their little sister. Thrown together for her protection after a situation arises has an effect on the way these two have tip toed around each for and it was a heck of a journey. I can't wait for more.

I received an Advanced Reader Copy and am voluntarily reviewing it. First in this series. The Nelson brothers, Silas, Jonas and Atticus, run an operation with ex-military cohorts. Their operation tends to stick to covert missions that are under the government’s radar. Basically, you call them when you can’t go to the police. They have been following a group that has been kidnapping women and auctioning them to the highest bidder. Everything was going fine until they see that the list of the current group of ladies included their only sister, Athena. The brothers had just reunited with their sister and are very protective. Liam is the one tapped to protect and hide Athena until the threat is neutralized.
Liam’s feelings for Athena are anything but brotherly and he is trying to keep them at bay because no one wants to tackle the Nelson brothers. Will Liam be able to keep his feelings in check while pretending to be Athena’s husband?
This book has it all mystery, intrigue, action and some steamy sexy times. Though readers will get their happy ending, this is not the end of this story. Unfortunately the mystery is not solved. Readers will happily wait for book 2 of this series. You will fall in love with this band of brothers. They love hard and protect fiercely. All of the character’s backstories will have you aching to pull them in for a hug. I have fallen in love and I can’t wait to see what happens next.

This book was everything I have come to expect from these authors and so much more. Having to go into hiding for her own safety with a man she has secretly crushed on for a while may sound like a dream come true until finding out that they will be hiding in plain sight within an Amish community. Posing as husband and wife they must not only integrate into a totally foreign lifestyle but remain aware of the dangers that forced them into hiding in the first place. A fast-paced novel with action, drama but most of all family and heart at its centre.

The Nelson Brothers are back! Alpha is the first book in this new series and features Liam and Athena. It's an excellent, fast paced story with lots of action, surprises and drama. Athena is the sister of the Nelson Brothers and when danger comes for her it's up to Liam to protect her. It comes in hot and fast and is the perfect start to what I know will be another exciting series from these authors.

Great start to the new series. Athena is the long lost sister of the Nelson brothers. When Athena is in danger, Liam takes her to a safe house located in New Amish order where they will hide in plain site as a married couple. Their story is fast paced full of action and drama. Can't wait for book 2.

This is the first book of this series, and if the rest of the books to come, are as good as this one, I’m hooked.
It is really good and gives a slight insight into the Amish lifestyle,

Could not get into this at all, DNF. I gave an extra 2 stars because I realize how difficult it is to struggle with a meth addiction and I applaud the author's courage.
