Hot!!!

Hot!!! Definitely need a cold shower after this one. I loved the chemistry and minimal angst in the book. The reappearance of previous characters was nice as well. This is my second favorite after the first in the series. Well worth the read. Looking forward to more books by Sabrina Kane.

I started reading this series by accident, the first book I read was book number 4 and from there I kept skipping books based solely on the blurb.

Happens I was not far from what I expect. It took me so long to read this book. Amy and Sally’s story was nice, but I was not hooked by it.

We have a HEA and even they were successful, they find an opportunity that makes them prosperous.

This book was very much giving porno 🙄 lots of wetness happening throughout about 70% of the book. Caught myself skimming some part’s because I was over it after a while, BUT the overall story was good and entertaining . I enjoyed it but I want a little less sex and more story (never thought I’d actually say that) 😂

Amy and Sally are so in tune with each other that even Sally's secret can't tear them apart. I love the energy of this book it's sweet, silly and so so sexy. I like how Amy describes what reading a Jillian Ashley book does to her because reading this book did the same thing to me. I really wanted them to act out chapter 25 that was mention so often. I look forward to reading more books by Sabrina Kane

This book should be classed as an autobiography as it’s the story of the author.

It really isn’t a good book at all. The writing wasn’t believable and it was certainly written by a man not who the author states they are.

Another catfishing author in the sapphic book community.

Another author pulling an Adam Gaffen, which was only a couple years ago.

Fucking ridiculous. And this is why I have author issues man not a lesbian and pretended to be a lesbian author shelves.

BROS – get a life.

Added to my Permanent DNR Authors shelf.

The previous two books had a plot and storyline. This one is at best called erotica.

3 times a charm

Sabrina's stories just keep getting better.. 3rd in the Carlsbad series and another loving couple set to benefit from her special brand of hot but sweet love.

The way she intertwines characters, dramatic events and some seriously spicy scenes remains endearing, gripping and hot all at once.

Obviously, I now want to know what happens next to Amy and Sally... BUT more importantly... what WAS chapter 25 and did they recreate it?

Loved it, you know what you get from Sabrina Kane's books, low angst but also excitement, lots of spice but with so much humour you find yourself needing a cold shower and in the next page you are laughing at their situations. So I'll be reading all the other books in this serie back to back.
...Also, we all need to know what the hell happens in Chapter 25!!!! 😁

Cute

I really enjoyed this story. The author does a great job with not only the main characters dialogue but also the secondary. The dialogue is real, making me both laugh and also tear up. Great job!

Hot

Very steamy. Amy and Sally have a chance meeting at Amy’s favorite coffee shop and start seeing each other. Things move quickly, but the steam factor is heavy throughout. An unexpected twist leads them both to really look at their relationship, even though it’s still so new.

still great series

As the series matures it only gets better. The story and the characters are really engaging with all the quirky thoughts and actions of regular people. Romantic, intense, humorous and just plain fun reading with interesting twists.

Hot and Sweet!

This story of a supposed Lesfic author and lesbian podcaster who interviews her is fast paced with humor and plenty of heat. Sabrina Kane brings the sexy in this book!

“Max threw up his hands. ‘Well, I knew it had to end someday,’ he said, getting up from his couch and pacing. ‘It’s my own fault, really. I’ve seen The L Word. Two cute lesbians get together for coffee, next thing you know they have a joint bank account and nuclear launch codes are being shared.’ ‘No, check it out…’ Sally said, standing up and stopping her friend’s pacing by placing her hands on his shoulders.”

Heroine: 27 year old Amy Broadnax
Heroine: 28 year old Sally Lassiter

Really liked this one. The Vanessa Effect is becoming a trend, which is really amusing. Both of the main characters were very level headed. No major drama between the two. I like a little conflict because that’s normal in life, but oddly it worked without making them jump through hoops.

Cliffhanger – no (book #3 in series)

Sabrina Kane is fast becoming one of my favourite autors. Because I like romance, I like them to be sweet and spicy and miss Kane knows just how to write that.

And I have to say that I appriciate a good book labeled "erotica" that does not involve bdsm, dom/sub, domestic discipline and such. I honestly feel like Fifty Shades of Grey is still everywhere I look and I don't care for it, I prefer the steamy scenes in my book to be without misstreses, riding crops and punishments.
And there is a lot of sex scenes here, all of them sexy and hot as hell and I loved reading them, but maybe some of them could have been a little more "making love" rather that just pure "fu*king". I missed a little bit more tenderness here. Ok, thats enought rambling about the sex.

Amy and Sally were lovely characters with great chemistry, obviously meant for each other. I liked the fact that the conflict on which the story is built was not endlessly drawn out as a plot device to break the characters at the 80% mark as it is usual for autors to do, but rather it was used to bring them together.
The side character were great adition to the story and I can't wait to read about Ainsley and Rachel. Seriously Sabrina Kane can't write fast enought. I want the book now ! :D

So if you are in the mood for a steamy romance you better grab this one, but I don't recomend reading it in public. You've been warned.
Enjoy

I really enjoyed this book! I fell in love with both Amy and Sally they are both so lovable! They are fun, flirty and their chemistry is amazing! The love scenes are smoking hot! All the side characters are great as well! These are the kind of people we need in our lives! This is the 3rd book in the series and is a stand alone but if you haven’t read the first two I highly recommend! ‘Nothing but a fling’ holds a very special place in my heart but this book is right up there and it’s a totally different storyline! It’s too hard for me to choose you must read them and decide for yourselves! 😉 Thank you Sabrina you’ve done it again!

Book 3 doesn’t disappoint.
We meet Amy (previously mentioned) and, well, erm…Jillian Ashley…maybe?
Instant attraction, mutual feeling and a steamy first date set us on a journey of secrets, travel and caffeine addiction. This book has so much heat you might need a fan! We also get our first mention of the elusive Chapter 25! Which, 14 books in, we still only have hints at!! As I’m doing a reread of these books and know what’s ahead I’m only guessing that if we ever do get to know more about it…the pages may combust!!
Another cracking visit to Carlsbad and beyond, I’m enjoying these even more second time around.
