Finding my best-friend is my one and only mission.
I thought maybe she’d been kidnapped, hurt, lost – I never imagined time travel.
When I slide into a prehistoric lagoon, I know she must be here. Somewhere.
But I’m not alone in this jungle.
The moment I step onto dry land, it’s not a wild animal I’m facing off.
It’s two primal, feral, filthy, dirty men.
It’s not that they need a shower. No. These men need something else.
I can see it in their eyes.
Feel it in their touch.
There’s only one thing these cave men want.
And it’s me.

Her Three Cave Men . . .

Summer’s sole focus was finding her best friend, Fancy. She looked in the area where Fancy was seen last and went into some caves where she may have gone. The ground starts to shake and she falls through the cave floor. Waking in a lagoon, some kind of creature is in the water with her and she escapes to the land. Then two feral type men step out from the jungle and she knows they want her!

Storm and Carnage let her know she has traveled in time and will not be able to get back. They don’t seem to want to help her, so she goes off on her own to continue her search for her friend. When she gets into trouble, another cave man saves her. Will the three men fight to claim her? Or will she insist on having all three of them?

This one was hilarious. So far jumping the shark, it jumped over the woolly mammoth. Frankie Love tried. I think they wrote themselves into a corner, and had to finish the series.

One wild water chute ride.....not anything like at Disneyland though

CAVE MEN is the fourth book in The First Mountain Man series. This is a cave man RH and is a wild ride. Summer's best friend Fancy has gone missing in the jungles of Mexico while on a dig, as she is a paleontologist. After a two days of waiting for news that she has been found Summer boards a plane and arrives in Mexico to try and find Fancy. The authorities have let it slip that over the last few years there have been several people who have gone missing in the same area. Summer also learns from the man leading the dig where they last saw Fancy so she decides to pack up a bag and go on a hike into the jungle. Along the way she discovers a cave and figures that Fancy would try to explore it, so she heads in herself. But when the it feels like an earthquake is happening Summer soon finds herself falling down into water and then along what feels like a chute. When she comes too she finds herself floating in a lagoon with a giant water hippo looking at her. Shrieking and making it to shore she sees two men emerging from the jungle....two wild men - like Tarzan. Well this is about to get interesting, especially when she finds they talk English and are going to try and keep her. She meets Storm and Carnage, two Special Ops soldiers who were thrown through time and ended up here. Storm has been there for six long years while Carnage has been there for two. The two big bad and very sexy Alpha's may be ready to fight over the curvy beauty but she is not deterred as she has come to find her best friend, the sister she met as a young child in foster care and the only person she has in the world. This story takes you on a wild adventure through the jungles of the Yucatan Peninsula and much more. Along the way Summer is saved by Hammer, the son of the terrorist the men were closing in on. He had been fighting with his father and was trying to kill him himself when the grenade went off. Ever since he has been wandering the jungle trying to find anyone until he came across some tracks and followed them. It was a good thing as he saves Summer just in the knick of time. It seems the four of them are fated to be together and so they set off on a journey to find Fancy and get their Summer.

This story was a wild adventure that is not quite what I was expecting. The story has drama, adventure, danger, family, friends, a quest, romance and then some very steamy RH fun. There is also the appearance of some previous characters and the set-up of something more to come. I did enjoy this book and thought it was a good addition to the series.

This one surprised me. I was expecting one thing and get something better. These cave men (all of them) are the best thing ever to come out of the madness. And second generation, woohoo.

Freedom in the wild by MeemsAngel82

Ok, I'm not into more than one partner but this was done so well! I couldn't stop with the series, it was too good! And regardless I appreciated them being natural and kind, they worked together to make her happy and as long as they're all happy...I love Frankie's books! Her writing style is fun and sexy and steamy. This series in particular...wow. This was so creative and sweet and different. It totally tugged at my heartstrings and I love the family bond.

She was desperate to find her foster sister. They had been through life together up until her friend's scientific outing. Suddenly transported back in time, she finds several men than turn her on. She insists on finding her sister first, but after...Hey, her sister always said she needed more...

The guys are great! I loved them all and can't blame them for acting the way they do. She is one lucky gal, she can take care of herself but now has so many options and opportunities to be fully satisfied. Though one would have surely done it because these guys are yummy! I love her drive to save her sister and loved how the story was handled. Oh, how I wished for more reunion time! And I am so sad over here, it looks like this is the end. There is a mention of another book but I can't find it anywhere! Oh please oh please Frankie, continue this one. I am absolutely dying to read about the new generation and I won't give away the names of the couple, but they are definitely meant to be together!

The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Speaking of filling…..wait, that’s for later. Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!
This is book four of The First mountain Man series it appears each book seems it will read as a standalone so why just read one when you can start at the beginning and keep reading through the series it won’t be a waste of time. Summer has been looking for her best friend Fancy who has been missing for a while and the same time loop Fancy went through Summer went through ending up in a lagoon from the cave man days with two sexy as all get out cave men looking at her as if she is the full snack, meal, and dessert. Storm and Carnage the sexy as all get out military turned cave men who want her to choose one of them but she can’t choose because one she likes them both and two she is there for her friends so she leaves running into Hammer (who is Hammer is the question) and between the three men they agreed to help her find Fancy the chemistry is intense between them and the magnetic can’t be ignored but is it enough, will they find her friend and can they have happiness?

Summer was devasted when her best friend and only family disappeared. She wasn't about to hang around and wait for news when she could go search herself. She finds herself searching the area where Fancy was last seen. Spotting some caves, Summer goes in to investigate knowing her friends love of caves. While she is inside the ground starts to shake and she drops down through the cave floor, fallining into a stream. When she wakes up she finds herself floating in a lagoon with no one or nothing in sight. Then a strange prehistorice creature pops up in the water, driving Summer screaming to the beach. She is quickly met by 2 cavemen looking men named Storm and Carnage. They tell her that she has gone back in time and there is no hope in returning. Summer won't give up on finding her friend Fancy no matter how much the men try to discourage her. They seem more interested in claiming her than helping her. The next morning Summer sneaks off in search of her friend. She runs into a jaguar ancestor and is saved by another caveman called Hammer. Soon after Storm and Carnage catch up with them. Storm and Carnage are willing to help her find her friend now but are still trying to compete to win her. Summer is only interested in all three of them.

I loved and disliked this book so hard

So first let’s start with the book blurb. It’s definitely incorrect. This book is a RH. Cool I love some kink. But in the blurb it describes 1 woman 2 men. In the book it’s really 1 women and 3 men. The third man throws off the whole dynamic of the book altogether and ruined it for me. The first part of the book is her leaving the first 2 men because they were arguing over who would get her and they were friends but didn’t want to share. But the third man (who is their mortal enemies son) is welcome right away? It was a bit ridiculous I’m sorry. The rest of the books epilogues talked about their children and how their lives progressed. This one encompasses their orgy at the very end and that’s literally how it ends. The plot to find the best friend was a good one but quickly was forgotten at the end. It was too short a read to try to fit all the details that were thrown together. It was too rushed and kinda messed it up for me. The next book is supposed to be about bam bam so the author should’ve wrapped this pet up better. Sorry to sound harsh but I was so disappointed by this book because the previous ones I loved!

The fourth installment in Frankie Love's newest series, The First Mountain Man, Cave Men is an unexpected but delicious, hot and fabulous read! Summer has arrived in the Mexican jungle searching for her missing foster sister, Fancy. While looking in a cave, she experiences an earthquake and is transported through time to prehistoric times - and quickly encounters two "cave" men. Storm and Carnage were former Special Forces members who, while on a mission, entered a similar cave and ended up back in time - though they arrived separately, and years apart. Laying eyes on a woman after several years finds both friends possessive and eagerly wanting to make the beautiful new arrival theirs. Summer cannot deny her attraction to BOTH men - but her determination to find her best friend is paramount. So begins a journey, including the addition of yet another player in the quest for her affections! This is a fast-paced, steamy novella in the vein of Frankie Love's filthy-sweet promise that does not disappoint - but be aware it is a tale of multiples!

Steamy Final Installment

This was a great conclusion to wrap up this series. It was lovely how it tied up this HEA romance series, and boy, did it leave it on fire! Frankie Love really amped up the heat to deliver the steam.

Again, I really loved the relationships. I enjoy the way the author writes the connections and communication between characters. I think she does a fantastic job of drawing them together in a realistic and wholesome way. It is charming and sentimental - believable.

My only twinge of frustration is the whole virgin-loves-everything-about-sex-though-it's-her-first-time. I try to be open-minded, knowing it is apart of the trope and the author does a great job with the lead up, but it isn't realistic, especially in the case of Summer. However, the story is great and it will be an easily overlooked aspect because it is enjoyable to read.

I recommend this book, but you will want to read this as a book set. It can standalone, but it is more fulfilling and comprehensive if you read the books in order. They will bring a smile into your day.

Meh

I wanted to like this book. I'm not really into the whole two guys one girl but I thought what the heck, I'll give if a try. Yeah, while I liked the story I didn't care too much for parts of it. I mean two guys ok but then why the need for another? Really?! One too many cooks in the kitchen, as the saying goes. The third guy was totally unnecessary. I didn't particularly care for the h, either. I don't know there was just something eh about her. Then the whole, oh let's wait to find my friend before we can have sexy time because I'll feel guilty that I'm having fun but she could be out there alone. Uh yeah ok, whatever. Oh but she does do everything else except penetration(her word not mine) with each of the guys, separately, on the way to find her friend. The epilogue wasn't any better either. It Was them finally having sexy time and it was such a letdown. Boring! Plus it just ends there. Disappointing. I loved all the other books in this series but I'm sorry this one fell flat. This is of course my own opinion. Thankfully I borrowed it and didn't buy it.

The First Mountain Man series by Frankie Love is by far my favorite series if hers! Summer was raised in the foster care system and the only family she has known and her best friend Fancy, goes missing in Mexico while on an archeological expedition. Summer goes to find her, and while looking finds herself hurled back in time. There she is found by 2 special forces servicemen, Storm and Carnage. It is lust and love at first sight for them, bur Summer can't think of herself till she finds her friend. Off they go to find Facy and Summer finds Hammer, who's father was a bad, bad guy. But again, insta-lust/love and now they are 4, but must find Fancy. I love this story, it was funny, sweet, steamy, and just a fun, well paced read. And best of all, you can binge read this entire series for FREE with your KU Subscription.

I love the premise of this story and the three before it. You do not have to read them for this one to make sense. People are disappearing in a cave system in Mexico, but it is due to time travel to the time of the mastodons after the dinosaurs are gone and there is no way back. Summer is searching for her friend Fancy who disappeared and no one can find a trace of her. While searching, Summer experiences an earthquake-type event and ends up back in time. This starts her wild experience in the past where she immediately meets two men who were transported years before. This sets the story and it gets more interesting from this point. I loved the descriptions of the plants and animals and the personalities of the characters and their realization that they had to work together to stay alive and safe. Nice romance.

I received a copy from Booksprout; this is my honest review
-My first LOL: "... one of them shouts. It's a woman! The other one growls. She's mine."
-I liked the unexpected presence of Hammer and he seems to work well with everyone.
-I also liked that what went on in the tunnels with people disappearing went on the news and Summer could figure out who everyone was.
-By the blurb, you can probably figure out a ménage is coming but it's really a reverse harem. Just be aware if you don't like that sort of thing that not much is happening in the bedroom.
-My main complaint is that there are too many repeats of facts, like "my men know what I need", and not enough time between them and the rest of the tunnel rats and their family once they get together. They meet, they get in bed. End.
-The series should have finished with a bang and it didn't. Something is missing; I just don't know what.

Summer knows that something is not right about Fancy missing. Determined to get to the bottom of things, Summer head to Mexico, where she ends up slipping into a portal that will take her to the Stone Age. There she meets Hammer, Storm and Carnage when she gets there, but she is not going to let the fact she is not in the 21st century stop her from finding her friend.

Cave Men is a fun and great story with a strong sassy woman, three Alpha men that need to be put in their place and learn to share. I love how the time line for each of the characters is different, for Summer it had been a couple of months since Fancy went missing, for her it had been 6 years.

Don't miss out on a single moment of this series.

I have to say this series has had me wondering what life would really be like back in prehistoric times. Would we now modern-day women be able to time travel back and deal with it as well as all these have? I know for one that I wouldn't be able to do it. That being said, this is a great story and these alpha men just want what is best for her and there is no way she is not going to be taken care of in any way that she needs. Along with these men helping to look for her best friend. You will get some laughs along with a lot of other emotions. So if you are into a multi relationship, time travel, dinosaur age then grab this book along with the other books in the series. Ms. Frankie has done a great job again.

YIKES!!! Not sure what happened here!! This series was going so well, the stories were cute and safe and fun! Then this hot mess oozed in! The blurb—and the cover—implies only two guys. Not a huge fan of the sharing trope, but as long as everyone is there from the beginning and all have an HEA, I can sometimes swallow it. The story starts with the two military buddies. Their dynamic was weird tho and they were both jealous of the other when it came to the heroine. A HUUUUGE turn off and no-no in a sharing romance. Then, all of a sudden and out of nowhere, there’s a THIRD dude. Yeah, just because I guess! The third dude is the son of the terrorist the military heroes were chasing when they were sucked into a time warp or something.

Just no. It’s hard enough to swallow the sharing of two guys with the heroine, but a third just tossed in for shits n giggles?! Fuck outta here!

Summer plus 3

This was the raunchiest of the set, even though the sex didn't happen until the epilogue. Weird too since the other 3 books were couples. It's like the author got bored with the premise and decided to wrap up by having all the remaining guys fall for Summer.

How will the other ladies feel knowing Summer has 3 husbands to their 1? What if something happened to one of the other men leaving an unattached female? It's just all sorts of odd. But as with most smut, don't think too hard or it will ruin it for you.

I was certain that once all the characters were matched, they would end up back in the 21st century, but that didn't happen. Which leaves me to ponder the fate of this little community. Won't it be sad as one by one, they die off? Will there be a sufficient gene pool for their offspring? etc.etc.etc

This was certainly a different book to read. It was enjoyable to read, but for me i couldnt just give it a 5 star because it didnt hit me with the wow factor. But regardless of that i have given a four star because it certainly was a different time travel story which i enjoyed.
Summers sister Fancy had disappeared, and Summer was determined to find her. But what she found instead was a cave that somehow transported her to another timeline. Where she meets three men, two of which were members of the special ops mission that disappeared six years ago and another man who was also searching for another elusive man.
The men at first have an argument on who will have her, but the decision is hers alone, she came here to find her sister and she wont be with them until she does!

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. Summer is determined to find Fancy. He search has brought her traveling back in time. She meets Storm and Carnage, these two fell back thru time also. There is attraction between them but she is on a quest. I was really with this story until she met Hammer. I was not expecting a third man to be in the picture. It threw me off with the characters. Summer wants them all and the men have to work out if she is going to tear them apart or pull them together. The search for Fancy is ongoing. Their story has some danger and drama and a lot of lust and love.

WOW - the story continues! I love it - this was supposed to be about Storm and Carnage, but Hammer came into the picture as well and Summer now has three men to deal with - WOW. Of course Summers only intention is to find her friend that disappeared, so no hanky panky until that is done and after weeks of going in the jungle they come across a dinosaur and little Pebbles. This is where they all live now and are welcoming the four newcomers to start life in prehistoric time! The kids are growing up so I guess Pebbles and Bam Bam maybe next?

This is the last book in this series. It was fast paced with some drama and a quick story. Summer gets sucked down the same cave as Fancy. She ends up sliding down a waterslide and two men find her. Storm and Carnage who are already fighting over who is going to get Summer. She goes out hiking and runs into Hammer and now there are 3 men and one woman. It seems as if Summer is a woman on a mission to have sexy times as much as possible with her men. I'm glad they found the settlement and the story with Pebbles and Bam Bam sound really promising. The newest entry in this enjoyable series of quick read romances decides to double your pleasure and the fun! The story line was entertaining and over-the-top in what I felt was the very best way. This is the perfect read to grab when you need to get away from the real world and simply relax. I really liked Summer, Storm and Carnage. The chemistry and sparks are abundant and things get very steamy but there is also underlying elements of humor, sweetness and heart. This is my independent, impartial review.

This unique and well written book 4 in The First Mountain Man Book Series is a timr travel menage romance story with very well-thought out scenes, storyline, and characters. These characters have interesting histories, personalities and intriguing interactions. This intriguing story has the following: time travel, twists, turns, adventure, action, love, steam and a HEA. It is a fast-paced Menage- Time Travel-Caveman Romance book that will keep you entertained from start to finish. A must read.

I thought it was only two, it turned out there were three and now they are a foursome. For a virgin, she sure did not act like one. She left her inhibitions when she time travelled to the Stone Age. :D.

I liked the writing but the story needs more development and it won't do with a short story. It felt like the guys have no choice since there is only one woman and there are three of them. I liked the other three previous stories better.

I really enjoy stories by Frankie, but was honestly quite disappointed with this story. This is the 4th book in the series so I jumped in without knowing much of the backstop but I felt something missing in this book. Didn't have much in personality for characters, not much detail to give substance to the story, just a woman looking for her lost friend and going back in time then being attracted to 3 men, and tromping through a forest. Where is Frankie's Mountain men?

3.5 stars. I actually did not enjoy this one as much as the other books in this series. It started out great with Summer looking for Fancy and stumbling into prehistoric times. The idea of these men sounded fun but I didn't like the execution. Storm, Carnage and Hammer had potential but I just feel like none of the characters were really flushed out beyond the initial intro with Summary. Again, it was not bad at all and if you have been reading this series you will enjoy. Just not my personal favorite.
