In the heart of Texas during the apocalypse, school is still in session.
Brock Skeller is at the helm of a group of survivors, and with the herd gone, things were supposed to be looking up.
Unfortunately their newfound hope came with a cost; they lost their home and many of their people. As the survivors learn that hope has a price, they look to Brock to lead them to safety.
But he’s out of plans and the dead are plenty.
Just when a deserted stretch of Texas road looks like their only choice, an unlikely ally comes forth with new information. A school on the edge of town has flourished, and their doors were always open.
Caught between a rock and a dead place, Brock takes a chance at the school and leads his people into what may turn out to be yet another costly mistake.
David Viergutz is a disabled Army veteran, a law enforcement veteran, a husband and a proud father. He's also a storyteller, an author of thrillers and horror novels that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
As a teenager, David would often be found dragging a backpack full of books to class, leaving his textbooks behind. He was always captivated by the worlds that authors like Nix, Tolkien, King and Patterson created, and he dreamed of one day creating his own.
Years went by and David found himself serving his country in the military, and later in law enforcement. The experiences he had during those years were both thrilling and terrifying, and they left a deep impression on him.
One day his wife sat him down and gave him the confidence he needed to start putting his imagination on paper. From then on, his creativity knew no bounds and he poured his heart and soul into his writing.
Now, David weaves tales of pulse-pounding realism and nightmare-inducing horror where his years in uniform have given him an unparalleled understanding of the criminal mind. Take the plunge and start reading David’s thrilling crime novels and terrifying horror adventures.
After reading the first book in The ZurViral Series, ReZist I thought it was one of the best zombie books I had ever read but then I read the second book ReZiliant which ramped up its game and just got better I thought yeah maybe this is the best zombie book I have read.
But you know then I went on to read the third book in the series, ReZolve and you know what? Yeah you guessed it The ZurViral Series just gets better and better with each book and now after reading ReZolve I will have to say it is by far the best one of all, well, so far that is.
I can’t wait to dive into the next book in The ZurViral Series, RiZen to see where all the characters take us on the next leg of their journey and what they may run into especially after reading ReZolve.
Once I opened ReZolve I was in suspense from the beginning to end. ReZolve opened up so many different feelings as the story progressed and I followed the characters wondering, wanting, and waiting for more as this new twists or invention of the zombies and how one group kept themselves safe. I will have to admit I didn’t agree with it but it was a great idea in an evil, bad way though.
ReZolve had me in so much suspense and frustration throughout the whole story. I was frustrated for having to wait to find out what was happening as the story unfolded. I wanted to know what was happening now.
ReZolve was so vividly written that I could see it all playing out in my head with each word. I could see each scene as it was described. I could see the zombies as they were chasing each character through the halls. I could visualize what the characters were wearing as they were fighting zombies.
I can’t wait for the next installment in The ZurViral Series, the fourth book RiZen, bring it on! I need it now! I highly recommend ReZolve to all those zombie fans out there. One-click your copy of ReZolve today! Oh, and be sure and check out book one, ReZist, and book two, ReZiliant as I would suggest reading them in order.
........Oh the Tension. There's been a lot of tension in this series but this one tops the others in that respect.... We are back at school and the crazy sons of bitches that run the joint act as though it IS school - the end of the world zombie thing has really messed up their minds...
Our group are welcomed into the school with open arms - which straight away seems a little odd but things get strange - very strange - especially when the groups TK abilities finally seem to have caught up with them.. We have the same bad situations where other people can be just as bad as the zombies (which there are LOTS of, dont worry)
The first half of the book sets the scene really well, builds the tension and then lets go for the second half with non stop peril and gore and death and betrayal... Great stuff
Book 3 y'all!!! ReZolve starts with Brock and crew getting to the School. There they are greeted by a strange man wearing even stranger clothes but smiling HARD core. They are allowed to stay, but with many 'rules'. Brock feels something is off. Through the next day, many secrets are discovered and Brock is now thinking coming here was a BAD plan. What will happen?
This installment of the series is great. It has some craziness, action, and shows that family is more than blood. You need to read it ASAP (It's released on June 28th!) and don't stop till you're done (unless of course, you must sleep a little), but READ IT!!!
David is a master storyteller with a story that you couldn't imagine, even if you tried!
After fighting their way out of the asylum, the survivors are on their way up the road to a middle school. The school is recommended by Russell. The school turns out to be another trap that the survivors have to fight their way out of. This story has lots of battles with the Zees plus fights amongst The Staff of the school and the survivors. The survivors lose 2 more of their group to bites from the Zees. The story ends in a cliffhanger. Highly recommended.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
In this fantastic third Zurviral-novel things are about to get much worse for Brock and his crew. They find a school filled with people. But this group of people sees the current situation from a whole different viewpoint, and it is not one they agree with…….
Brilliantly written, this novel gets more tense and twisted on every page. And I utterly loved it.
If David Viergutz enjoys writing these novels as much as I enjoy reading them, he’s having a blast.
A super third book in the series. Brock and his people take shelter in a school with a very strange atmosphere. Then things get really bad. Graphic, shocking and gory with great strong well described characters, high impact action sequences in a fast moving well told story. Great climax with an open ending for the next book. Great stuff. I received a complimentary copy from the author and am leaving a honest voluntary view
OK, I don’t like to give spoilers on my reviews just like to write what my opinion is of the book in the writer, however I have to say this The Principal, he needed the die in so many ways, WOW! great fantastic writing David you did it again!
David writes in a manner that keeps his readers in the book as if they were actually in part of the story and for me that’s a damn good writer that’s how I like to read just like I am in their story. Excited to see what happens next!
This is a brilliant read. Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start. Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believable. Great suspense and action with wonderful world building. Can't wait to read what the author brings out next. Recommend reading.
I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.
ReZolve is the third book in The ZurViral Series. Brock Skeller tries to lead his group of survivors to a safe haven. When the inhabitants of a school building welcome them with open arms, they gladly accept their conditions. With devastating consequences… The author really pulled out all the stops, and created some of the most gruesome, bloodcurdling and horrifying scenes you will ever read. Man’s cruelty has no limit in his quest to survive…This is the best book in the series so far! I received a preview copy of this book which I am voluntarily reviewing.
Not your average zombie novel...it's so much more!
This, as I said in the title, is so much more than your average zombie novel! The plot has constant twists and turns, the characters are well written and you get to know them and thier motivation for what they do beyond survival. I'm not a great zombie novel fan normally but this series I loved!
This is a great continuation in the ZurViral series. I enjoyed this book so much, I read it in one day. Brock is becoming a complex character and it is great to read about his development as a person. I am looking forward to the next book in the series.
Brock is developing as are his fellow survivors. Unfortunately not all are developing in a good way. This is full of action and suspense. I found myself talking mentally to the characters telling them what to do in my mind. I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving my honest review .
Penz 5.0 out of 5 stars Be prepared and trust no one! Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 28 June 2021 This is a great continuation of Brocks story which really can’t be missed . Who would you trust in an apocalyptic world and what terrors would you experience!
Read the ebook like a page turner, couldn’t stop. Brock doesn’t have enough on his hands with the zombies, some monsters are also humans. More obstacles on his path to safety on every turn. I can’t wait to read the next one .
Another excellent part tot his exciting zombie fantasy adventure! Great story line development & a very enjoyable read! I will look forward to more by this writer & in this series! A good fun read!
3 books in and I'm still loving the series! Each book adds more and more to the story and characters. This is an action packed ride that I don't want to get off!
I can't express how well written this series is. Brock and his people are wonderfully written. The world is well developed and the story is compelling.
This is the third book in the series. Brock and his group escape the asylum, just barely, in book 2 and then Russell recommends going to the school. Russell had been there and left, which should have told them it was a bad idea to start with. They are met by a man "The Principal" and have to follow all kind of rules. It turns out that it was a bad idea.
I have read all the books in the series. Unlike a lot of the other reviewers, I was not thrilled with the first, it was good, but not thrilling in my opinion, however, the second was much more interesting and this one had me hanging on every word. So many twists and turns, it was definitely a gripping read and the best so far. Can't wait to read the next in the series. I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for a review.

This is my favorite of the series so far and a great read for anyone who loves zombies! It was an edge of your seat page turner that had a bit of a horror vibe that left unable to put it down. I am on to the prequel book and will definitely try more of David's books!!
