I adored this book!

Harvey is Book 2 of Shaw Hart’s Eye Candy Ink: Second Generation series and it was so stinking cute! I love me a tatted bad boy but there’s something to be said about a tatted sweet guy too!

Harvey is all in when he meets his soulmate- Coraline. In Eye Candy Ink tradition - you know when you know, and Harvey knew she was the one from the word go! Watching them fall for each other made for an enjoyable read in one sitting romance that I devoured.

I look forward to the rest of the books in the series and give Harvey the judy.ann.loves.books stamp of approval. TBR and Enjoy!

WOW!! I couldn't put this one down. I absolutely love it!! This was a nice quick, short read.

Harvey meets Coraline when he smells a food truck near buy. As soon as Harvey see Coraline he knows she is the one for him. When he gives her a cheesy pick up line she laughs at it, and tells him that was a good one. The next morning while she cleans the truck, Coraline's friend Saylor comes to help her, she tells her friend about the tattoo guys who came to grab something to eat. When they go the next night Harvey notices his friend Rooney staring at the other girl that is helping Coraline. She has to ask Harvey if he has any cheesy pick up lines tonight, the other guys, Gray, Banks and Rooney can't believe how back he is. The next night Harvey goes to the food truck with a cheesy pick up line right away. Coraline laughs right away and when Harvey opens his box of food he sees she gave him an extra order of fries. Coraline has to get back to work as more customers approach her food truck. The next night when Harvey goes to the food truck he notices something is wrong, the line isn't moving. When he approaches the truck he notices the guy at the window seems to be yelling at Coraline. Coraline tells Harvey that the chicken she made last night is to spicy and she can't do anything to tone it down unless she runs and gets more ingredients. He tells her to let him know what she needs and sends the list to Rooney. Harvey lends a hand to Coraline, Rooney comes with the items she needs and they both help her out. They help her clean the truck before walking her to her car. Harvey asks her if she has any nights off and she tells him. He asks her if he can take her out to dinner, she tells him she can't she's just to busy. Harvey doesn't go to see Coraline for the next two nights. Her best friend Saylor tries to talk to her about Harvey, but Coraline doesn't open up to her about it. Coraline has been trying to be a head chef in a restaurant, when she gets home she finally gets an interview with Harvey's Uncle Max. Zeke comes into the shop and everyone is in Harvey's room trying to give him so advise on pick up lines to use. Zeke lets Harvey know that they have been talking about his pick up lines at the other shop and his Uncle Mischa is about to send him some dating articles. Coraline is busy with her truck and when she looks up she notices two older couples outside her window. Coraline notices the one woman locking eyes with her. Coraline notices Harvey and a few of the other guys coming her way. Harvey and Rooney notices both their parents at the food truck and ask them what they are doing there. After their parents leave, Coraline asks Harvey where he's headed. He tells them they all want to go the the Club Se7en, she asks them if they can get in. Harvey tells her his Uncle Max owned the club. Coraline asks him if he told his Uncle she was trying to get a job as a chef. Harvey gets confused and asks her what interview. She asks him if he mentioned her Max and got her the interview. Harvey tells her he hasn't talk to his Uncle Max in a few weeks and he doesn't keep up with his business. He asks her if he can take her out to celebrate but she turns him down. Harvey tells her it's alright she is worth the wait, he knows in his heart she's the one for him. Coraline tells him okay she'll have dinner with him. The next day Harvey goes to pick up Coraline for their date, he's taking her to an escape room, then to a romantic dinner. While at dinner Harvey asks her about her family and she asks him about his. They talk about what kind of restaurant Coraline wants to run, then they head back to her place. They kiss goodnight as Saylor opens the door for them. Coraline has the interview with Max, everything goes really well. She prepares all her popular dishes and he enjoys them. A week later, only seeing each other when Harvey grabs a bit to each he has an early shift at work so he heads to her place. He asks her about her interview and how everything went. Harvey takes her to Allegheny Commons Park and they stroll through eating an icee. They talk more about their families, then they both agree on pizza. They head back to Harvey's place since Rooney is still at work. Coraline's phone starts ringing and he tells her to take it. When she hangs up she tells him she got the position. He asks her if she's going to get rid of her food truck and she doesn't see any sense in keeping it. She tells him maybe she should get a tattoo of her truck and Harvey tells her he'll do it for her. They begin kissing and she asks him if they should go to his bedroom. He asks her if she is sure that they don't have to do anything. Coraline kisses him and he carries her to his bed. She takes off her clothes then tells Harvey it's his turn. He pleasures her then they get physical, Harvey knows he is taking her virginity. After she falls asleep he tells her he loves her. They don't see each other for another week. Coraline sells her food truck so she makes time to clean it out. Coraline head to Eye Candy Ink to get her tattoo. They talk about their day to each other as Harvey shows her a few of his designs. Harvey makes sure to check on Coraline to make sure she's doing alright. After he wraps the tattoo Coraline tugs at Harvey's shirt and asks him if they can do it there. He tells her yes as he takes off his clothes. Coraline goes to her knees and pleasures him, he pulls her up and tells her he needs her. In the middle of it all Harvey tells her he loves her, Coraline is shocked not knowing what to say to him. Her phone rings so she grabs her clothes, thanks him for the tattoo and leaves. Harvey goes to the tattoo parlor the next day and tells everyone he told Coraline he loves her and she freaked out. They all give him different advise on what to do. Harvey finds out Rooney asked Saylor out on a date but she also turned him down, he tells him he'll talk to Coraline and find out what's going on. Harvey's parents Atlas and Darcy come to see him, they ask him when do they get to meet Coraline. She's working getting thing ready to open the new restaurant when Harvey comes to talk to her. He tells her he doesn't want to rush her and apologies. She tells him he should have to apologies for how he feels. Coraline tells Harvey she didn't hear those words a lot growing up and she thought he said them in the heat of the moment. Harvey tells her he didn't say them in the heat of the moment he meant them, he tells her he loves her. She tells him she loves him too. They start kissing and them Max walks in on them. One year later, Harvey carries the groceries into their apartment before Coraline can. They live together and he asks her to grab the door, Rooney and Saylor live next door. When Saylor hears them she pokes her head out asking Coraline if she got it. She grabs a bag and they take off to the bathroom. Harvey's parents, Atlas and Darcy along with Rooney's parents Mischa and Indie come over to see if they want to go out to dinner. Coraline and Saylor come out of the bathroom, smiling. Everyone wants to know why they're so happy, Saylor tells them they have some exciting news. Saylor tells everyone they're pregnant, Harvey pulls Coraline close and ask her if they are. Coraline tells him yes we are as his mom and Aunt Indie congratulations them. Coraline asks Harvey if he's happy and he tells her he couldn't be happier. Five years later, they take their son Graham and their daughter Lila to their grandparents home. They are having a sleepover as Harvey and Coraline celebrate their anniversary they've been married four years. Coraline and Saylor share anniversary it was alway Saylor's dream. Harvey pulls up at the same time Coraline does, she tells him he ruined the surprise. After she is ready, they delay their plans to out for dinner. Harvey picks up Coraline and carries her to the bedroom.

Anche questa è una storia veloce, ma molto bella da leggere.
Piccolo difetto è che ho trovato tanti piccoli errori di traduzione .
La storia d’amore è proprio come quelli dei genitori di Harvey, un vero e proprio sogno.
Una serie che comunque è bella da leggere anche se le storie si assomigliano tutte l’una con l’altra e tra la prima e la seconda serie.

Harvey lays his eyes one day on Caroline working at her food truck and the rest is history… at least for him. Caroline is working on making her dreams come true, and doesn’t have time for anything else. Lucky for her Harvey isn’t giving up. The push and pull and cheesy pickups lines between them was great. It’s been nice to read about how close the second generation is and their found family.

Questa novella mi è piaciuta davvero tanto e sono andata a controllare: secondo di una serie di spin-off oltretutto. Curiosa vado a cercare la serie principale e nulla, nada, nothing. Io non chiedo di fare le cose bene, questo è impossibile, ma almeno usare criterio! Tradurre almeno prima le serie precedenti perché mi sono ritrovata con una serie di nomi di persone sparate da zero a cento date per assodate, nemmeno un “nelle puntate precedenti” ma sorvoliamo…

Ho apprezzato entrambi i personaggi.
Coraline ha un sogno: diventare una chef. Trasferitasi con la sua migliore amica a Pittsburgh per avere più chance lavorative e nel frattempo si spacca la schiena nel suo food truck.
Harvey supporter numero uno di Cora in tutto e per tutto e noi amiamo i fidanzati che sostengono le loro dolci metà.

Di solito odio gli istant love perché li trovo inverosimili ma qui è stato così dolce che il mio animo romantico è andato in brodo di giuggiole.

Unica piccola pecca è stato l’epilogo! Cara signorina Hart lei non mi può spoilerare la coppia del libro successivo… ha per caso letto Bridgerton? No no non si fa così

The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Speaking of filling…..wait, that’s for later. Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with! This is book is part of the Eye Candy Ink: Second Generation series why just read one when you can start at the beginning and keep reading through the series it won’t be a waste of time. Coraline is sweet, struggling to keep her food truck afloat and an amazing chef although, she feels career wise she isn’t where she should be or is she fate makes the ultimate decision. Harvey sexy as all get out works at Eye Candy Ink while leaving one evening the smell of her food called to him and one look was all it took. Neither of them were looking but fate put them on the same path and the chemistry is instant and intense, the magnetic pull can’t be ignored but will Coraline give him a chance, will the semi-shy guy get the girl and can they find happiness together?

Come il primo della serie, anche questa si è rivelata una bella storia piena di amore, dolcezza, amicizia e con una bella atmosfera familiare data dalla marea di zii e cugini e fratelli più o meno di sangue che circondano la coppia XD Harvey non è il classico bad boy tatuato, anzi viene descritto come alto e allampanato, a volte sembra quasi goffo e timido ma allo stesso tempo è molto determinato nel conquistare la sua lei, e ci vorrà tempo e pazienza XD Mi è piaciuto il modo in cui ha sostenuto i suoi sogni, gli appuntamenti originali, e anche il gruppo di amici sullo sfondo pronti a offrire un consiglio.. o una presa in giro XD In particolare adoro Rooney, già nel precedente si era fatto riconoscere per la sua vivacità e il carattere scanzonato e anche qui strappa sempre una risata!

Adored

Okay I have to start by saying I absolutely adored this book. These characters are all so fun getting to know BUT as much as I wanted to give it five stars I had to give it four because of the editing. There were so many times when names are flip/flopped it got very confusing at one point. That really should be fixed because there are so many characters between these and the first editions (parents) that if you aren’t familiar with this world you would be quite lost.
Other than that the book was wonderful. Story was sweet and sincere, the characters were amazing as always.

The author has given us a quick read that pulls us into the lives of Harvey and Coraline and does not let go. When leaving Eye Candy Ink at the end of the day, Harvey is enticed to the food truck across the street by the wonderful smells emitting from it. Then he locks eyes on Coraline and his world comes to a standstill. Coraline is not where she wants to be career-wise and is not ready to date anyone. However, Harvey is hoping that he can change her mind.

Harvey and Coraline were just flat out adorable! Harvey is just about the sweetest guy I have read in a while. He is just an all around sweetheart and I about cheered when Coraline agreed to go out with him. Coraline is so closed off, for good reason. I get that she needed to protect herself when she didn't have anyone but her bestie to back her. But it was so obvious how wonderful Harvey was, I just wanted to push her into his arms. I can't wait to see how the rest of the second generation falls!

I thought that this was a sweet book. I loved Coraline and Harvey together. These two are attracted to each but there two have a slow burn as Coraline as was hesitant. I really enjoyed the connection and the chemistry between these two. Though that Harvey was really sweet and was perfect to show Coraline what love is really like. I can't wait for Rooney's book! I would highly recommend this book and Ms. Shaw as a gifted author.

This is a new series for me as I never read any of the original Eye Candy Ink series. I really liked how important family was in this and how at ease they all were. I liked how open everyone was as well as honest supportive and loving. This was a sweet story with humour, connection, chemistry and good relationships. I enjoyed seeing Harvey and Cora find their way together and I am looking forward to reading more from this series.

Awkward, Dorky and incredibly sweet story! I don't understand how every book gets better. Harvey is so genuine and endearing and Coraline is his perfect match. Coraline is working at her food truck and getting to know Harvey as he navigates his way to getting her to notice him. The 2st generation eye candy group gets involved and the rest is history. I love these stories and already feel so invested in their future.

The second generation of Eye Candy Ink is EVERYTHING! Harvey’s personality is the best combination of Atlas & Darcy, and I was swooning over how he used similar tactics as his dad did in his story to get Coraline to fall in love with him. Harvey was the sweetest and Coraline never stood a chance when it came to him and she deserved all the happiness she got in this book. If I could erase my memory and read the story again I would because It was that enjoyable! The excitement for the other character’s books is too real!

Harvey is such a funny dude. When he leaves the tatoo shop with his cousin he stops by the new food truck to grab something to eat. While waiting in line he is dumbstruck by the beauty behind the counter and when he approaches he uses the coeniest pick up lines. Coraline is not in the hunt for a relationship but Harvey sneaks up and gets under her skin like the oil she cooks with. This is an entertaining, fun, short, insralove with a HEA and plenty of laughs.

Clumsy flirting and cheesy pick up lines, a sweet and independent food truck chef and a sexy and goofy tattoo artist. This book is both adorable and hot! Harvey knows that Coraline is his one from the first moment their eyes meet, yet he’s so awkward as he tries to talk to her. The instant attraction sizzles between them and the heat grows into a slow and steady burn!

I LOVE this next gen series. I mean, the original is equally as awesome. I really enjoy seeing the kids all grown up and acting just like their parents. This is Harvey and Coralline’s story (with a whole lot of another couple too). I’m loving the visits we get with the original series characters too!!! Fantastic storyline and writing - great NSFW scenes and a sweet HEA. Loved it!!!!

Harvey et Coraline sont sympa et mignon. Harvey la soutient beaucoup, super respectueux. Bon couple.
Caroline est douce et un peu retissante du à son expérience mais il sait la rassurer.

L’amitié de Harvey et Rooney est super cool comme Caroline et Sayler. Le quatuor est sympa.

Par contre dans ce tome, il y a pas mal de problèmes de traduction et des échanges de prénoms entre Harvey et Rooney.

I am just loving the second generation Eye Candy Ink crew!

Harvey is just so sweet when he fumbles trying to be cool when he meets Caroline and uses a cheesy line. I love that it becomes their thing as they fall for each other. And thank goodness Mischa's online guides to dating are still circulating to help these guys hahhahaha!

Can not wait to read more of this fun novella series.

This was just as awesome as the first book in the series. I simply loved the story and the chemistry between Harvey and Coraline. I loved that there was an instant attraction between them but the relationship was built over time. I just love this series.

Eye Candy Ink is probably one of my favorite series by Shaw Hart and I'm excited to read about the original character's kids following in their parents footsteps and falling in love. Harvey and Coraline's story was super sweet and showed that you can have it all, a career and true love.

Of course Atlas and Darcy would have the sweetest son in Harvey. And he is so not smooth. I love his dorky one liners and how Coraline does also. Coming from a broken family and being so career focused, Coraline chooses to to trust the sappy, loveable Harvey. Their story just leaves me with a big smile and warm heart.

I am having so much fun with this series! This book two in the series is steamy, intriguing, engaging, relatable, and well written with humour, witty banter, amazing friends and family, likeable characters, and instant chemistry. Definitely recommended!

Loved!!! So sweet and steamy!

Another win in this Eye Candy Ink next generation series. Harvey and Coraline were so sweet and slightly awkward which made their instant connection and feelings so adorable. It’s incredibly steamy and sensual (that scene in the tattoo table…WOW!). Overall I loved this book as much as the rest of the series.

Another great book

I like when the guys meet the girls and they immediately know they are the one. That was it for Harvey and Coraline. Harvey knew he just had to see how she felt. She didn't grow up in a loving family like Harvey so she had difficulties adjusting to it. She was an excellent chef. It's a really good book. You'll enjoy it too. Written by Cindy :)

Coraline followed her best friend when she moved and opened her food truck. The beginning step for her dream of opening a really restaurant. What she find on a goofy customer Harvey is a family. A future she never thought would be hers with love and acceptance for who she is.

El es tan lindo 🥺, definitivamente tiene mucho de sus padres.... me gustó mucho la personalidad y fuerza de la protagonista.
Es una historia tierna y rápida de leer.
Muy cortita como las demás ☹️ pero bien Cute.
Siento que hay muchas partes que podrían haber detallado mas, pero aun así me gusta leer este tipo de historias simples pero lindas ❤️
