One Hell of a Thriller!

OMG.....I don't know where to begin..... This was by far the most thrilling, action packed book I've read this year. I felt every action packed scene on these pages. It was like reading a movie! Shadow needs to be an Avenger, because he is the G.O.A.T! At 18 years old he proved that he was a force to be reckoned with among some of the world's most feared Cartels. This young man is so smart and calculates every move he makes, while understanding consequences of each and every decision. He is slowly building a name for himself in the streets of Illinois, as the protégé of his mentor Cain. He danced on these pages from beginning to end! But the plot twist at the end was undeniably the most shocking. Rock's return, Cain's connect, Zaya's secrets it was all so unexpected. I need this on audible ASAP because baby this one was the truth!!!!!!! Bravo Navi! MF BRAVO!!!!!!!!!

Shadow of the Jackal is a fast-paced, action-packed crime novel. Zahir and his younger brother, like most teenagers in middle-class America, we're home horsing around. In seconds their world collapsed when the police came to their home delivering life-altering news. They are forced to move back to the hood. Zahir’s seamless transformation into Shadow, who is a physical and mental menace in the streets, left me wondering how much of man’s behavior is determined by his environment, the family he grows up with, or is it genetics (nature vs. nurture). Either way, I cannot wait for book 2 of this series. It's not about revenge. It's about respect.

Please let it be a part 2

I know you did not leave us hanging like this! Malik has to be his cousin or so something to be right by his uncle side. All this time, that's who he was. I KNOW it has to be a part 2 to get at them Russians that did all the dirt to them. Oh he is going to have to see Shadow. Let's not forget the Rock has to be dealt with for doing that to his girl. Please say it's going to be a part 2

Shadow

This book was everything.. Shadow was a young Boss. It had me on the edge of my seat from the beginning to the end. Da Rock I wanted to Rock him to sleep. Oh and KD no words. I didn't want this book to end. Wonderful job Navi..The best urban book I have read in a long time.

SHADOW!!

This was my first read by this author. This story drew me in making it hard to put down. The emotions the detail into this story was so good. I enjoyed how Zahir aka Shadow mind worked. Kai had a mouth on him and was a trip. Great story...read the book!!

I love Shadow, he is about his business and I hope he makes it back in time to get Da rock handled. Kai can be awesome with the technology and skills he learned from shadow. Malik is back on the scene yeah. Anxiously awaiting part 2.

If I tell you I'm an instant fan. This author did that. Shadow about to make me get my cougar on. I hate they lost Cane, that was messed up. Them Russian a whole mess in these Chi-town streets. Book 2 can't come fast enough.

Great story

Very well written. Love the story. Never read a book by him. So this will not be my last one definitely recommending it to everyone. Love the ending
