I was surprised that my phone's Kindle app had this because normally when I download books from BookSirens, they never show up on my phone. So I can only read them at home on my computer. I was able to start reading this book at Costco, lol, and I finished it at the gym.
The beginning was really good. I was turning pages quickly and didn't want to put the book down. I loved the chapter ornaments. The book was 4 stars for me, but when I went back to finish it, and then it just ended, I felt like it was 3 stars.
I was super impressed that this was written by a man! For some reason, male authors don't seem to write sex scenes as well. They don't capture how the female orgasm feels, etc. But I had no idea this book was written by a male, that's how well the sex scenes were written.
Rather than romance (we'd need a longer story for a romance), this felt like a romantic erotic short. I wanted to know Kora's real name and what happened with her and the Senator after. An epilogue would have been nice.
I had this thought that Kora was "every woman" like Bella from the Twilight series: a sort of blank character you can insert yourself in.
A few grammatical errors could have been caught during another round with the proofreader, but since this is an ARC, hopefully, the published copy was better edited.
Anyway, a good spicy read.

Serving the Senator is a short novella which seems to give you one scene between the two main characters: Senator Richard and Kora. Kora works at an exclusive club where it seems Senator Richard is the king! Kora comes across as a true innocent whilst Richard is the quintessential Dom, roping Kora into coming to his private room for some sexy time. In some ways Richard is quite predatory in the way he conquers Kora, but she is definitely one with the dirty talk too.
What I really enjoyed about this book was that it was based upon the ancient myth of Hades and Persephone and you catch glimpses of the other myths throughout the story and in the descriptive setting. Although a quick and sexy read this novella is enjoyable with a heavy focus on BDSM and amazingly hot chemistry between the two main characters. I would just like to know more about these characters.

Who wants to Serve the Senator? I do. This steamy novella left me hot and bothered and wanting more. Senator Richard plays the mysterious alpha Dom to perfection and Kora’s innocence just makes it sweeter. I hope this isn’t the last we will see of the Senator and his naughty little attendant.

as this is a novella it’s hard to give higher than a 3 stars, this was literally just an extended smut scene, super short but super steamy!! i enjoyed it :)

Kora at a exclusive club for the rich and one night she is sent to take care of a client. However its Senator Richard and he wants her to do more with him than she typically does with clients. Sparks fly between them and soon Kora is forgetting everything and everyone around them.
This is a steamy short that will captivate you from the first page and leave you wanting more at the last one. The chemistry between them is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend it to any book lover.

Titillating and Steamy!
WOW, this is one arousing and steamy story. Right from the start this story left me completely hot and bothered! There was just so many panty melting moments that I really had to perfect my one handed reading!!! Kora and the Senator are amazing characters and I really hope that this fantastic author decides to write more to this story.

My first book by this author and I loved it! It was short but so well written. LM packed a lot of heat in this short story. Kora and the Senator have amazing chemistry. I would definitely read a full novel about these characters!

Talk about panty melting!!! This was a steamy, erotic read quick read. But not quick enough that we don’t get hooked!!

This is a new author to me, and I took the opportunity to read this free reader's copy, offered by Booksirens.
I didn't realize this was a short story when I chose it. I was finished with the read in about an hour.
The design of this story is based upon an exclusive club, catering to elite men, and nubile women servers, who can be "claimed" to serve a Master. This doesn't have much background information, and the characters are basic.
It turns very quickly into the D/s scenes, without a lot of finesse in the character interactions. If you are looking for a super quick, mostly steamy, D/s read with some "dubious" content ... this is it.

It’s short enough to read on your lunch break, long enough that your not left wanting more, Spivey enough you need to make sure your boss dosnt read over your shoulder and captivating enough to make you forget your at work.
Only issue is, it’s so good you end up buying the next book lol

This book is a short erotic story that is really well written.
I thoroughly enjoyed everything about this book, especially the erotic parts that had me very hot under the collar, and begging for more.

Although my only gripe would be that I felt that the book had just got started, and it ended. So although I thoroughly enjoyed it I think it could have been a little longer.
I would have liked to know what her boss thought and also the other girl's she worked with, as she was a new starter who had claimed the treasure, as she was only supposed to be a server, and also how did he punish her for her disobedience?

It is no coincidence that Serving the Senator is a short story with a page length of 69. This story is fast paced, opens on a sex fantasy, and the sexual escapades continue throughout the entire book. L.M. Mountford wastes no time getting to the hot and heavy stuff!
Kora is a newer employee at the exclusive gentleman’s club, The Olympus Club. She is tasked with serving the infamous Senator, what starts as her being his drink girl instantly turns into her serving him in many other ways. I challenge you to read this book and not be turned on! The sex scenes are fantastic.
While this book is mostly about BDSM it also has a very unique plot. I appreciated the updating of greek mythology with modern day New York society. I finished Kora and the Senator’s story and definitely wanted to know more, I was that intrigued!

How long has Kora been at the Olympus Club? What are the rules about what is happening in this book? It explains the looks Demeter gave Kora as she left the lounge area. You have to read this kinky, sexy short story. I hope to read more about Kora in the future!

DOM DIARIES: SERVING THE SENATOR By L.M. Mountford
This is the 1st book I have read by this author and it is hot one!! I am normally not a fan of novellas as I feel like you just get started and it is over. It does not have a rushed feel though. This one brings a well written, solid story of Kora and Richard. She is a new maiden in his exclusive men's club and he is a powerful senator. When she is instructed to serve table 12 their evening just begins. These two have insanely hot, explosive chemistry. I am looking forward to reading more of Mr. Mountford's work. I feel like there is more he can explore with these two with another book, if he so desires. 5 HOT stars for this!

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the story of Kora and Richard. Kora was working at the Olympus Club and was asked to serve Richard. Richard was a senator and Kora was normally not allowed to talk to him, but richard had requested her. Richard then took her to a private room to discuss an arrangement and proceeded to dominate her and make her his. This was a quick and steamy read. I liked Richard and he really seemed to want to be with Kora. Richard knew all about her and he was determined to get what he wanted. I love how Kora submitted to him and knew he would treat her right. Good one.
