Kara has been counting the days until she return to her hometown for Christmas. Ten years ago her Aunt left town, but in her heart Kara knew that wasn't true. While Kara is back home they find her Aunt's car in a deep ravine with the body inside. The officer at the scene is someone who broke Kara's heart many years ago. Sean the police officer has never forgiven himself for ruining his relationship with Kara. Soon a series of break-ins and assaults start to happen.

A good Christmas or anytime read. A nice mix of romance and mystery. Light easy read. I enjoy the books in Anne's Sweet Intrigue series. They are fun and good clean cozy mysteries.
