This was not exactly what I was hoping for. It was kind of only half of a story.
They meet. They spend a crazy night together. Then she decides he’s actually ‘the one’, because he sends her ‘12’ texts in the 20 minutes after she leaves his side the morning after...
It was a hot concept, and the sex was kind of hot, but there was zero plot, and not Enough sex to make up for it.
I don’t know. I’ve usually enjoyed reading Turner’s books, and I didn’t hate this, it just felt like maybe she rushed this one. Like she hit the deadline and still wasn’t done so she just submitted what she had and her editors made it work...
Hopefully the next book is better.

cute and nice wrap up for the series. jack and brooke got stuck in the elevator and something just clicked between them. they dated for 3 months before he proposed so they're not at least totally in a rush.

Love at First Disaster, Book 5 of the Love Comes First series, was about 23-year-old Brooke Cline, the only female of the five Cline siblings, co-owner of Cline Corp., and 32-year-old Jack Cavill, the CEO of Cavill Insurance.
After learning she didn't get the female lead role in a movie she really wanted, Brooke arrived at the Cline family conference room expecting to see her four brothers for their usual Thursday night family meeting, Brooke was surprised to see the room empty. She opened her phone to send them all a scathing message for deserting her, only to see that she was a night early. It was only Wednesday. Feeling depressed that all of her brothers had a significant other while she was still alone, she decided to go home. Riding the elevator down, it stopped three floors down to admit a very handsome man. He stood staring at her for so long, the doors started to close without him getting on until he caught it and stepped inside with her. It continued to descend until it reached the 17th floor, then ground to a halt and the lights went out, trapping them.
Jack had been heading home from work, looking forward to a quiet, lonely night in front of the television when he got his first glimpse of Brooke. From that point on, she was all he could think about. For the first time, he understood what his mother meant when she told him that, when he found his soulmate, something inside would just click. That's what he felt happened with Brooke.
Once again, the fifth Cline sibling got into a situation that wasn't quite private and was definitely hilarious when it was publicly revealed.
The drama and angst were low, but the humor was pretty decent. The characters were fun to read about, and they were fully developed and mature. Although it was another short, fast-paced story, there was nothing lacking that a full-length novel would have. Like most of its predecessors, it earned a five-star rating.

A Decent Book to End the Series
The sister finally gets her match. Brooke’s acting career isn’t necessary for her survival, since her brothers run their family’s company, but bringing them dinner once a week is less than ideal, especially as each brother has paired off. Jack, the man she meets during an elevator mishap, is originally the kind of person who has “zero chill” around “his woman…” much less, her an actress with beautiful male colleagues and possibly steamy, scripted scenes. He mellows, because he has to, but his Alpha balances Brooke’s character by grounding her, to allow her to fly. A decent end to the series, and wraps up the family’s future in epilogues.

He’s a millionaire and she’s the sister of billionaire brothers. They work in the same building but different companies and she was getting ready for pizza night with her brothers but she forgot it was the wrong date and decided to take the elevator back and Jack stepped in and then suddenly the elevator stopped and they were stuck. They are pizza and talked but soon the heat was unbearable and they both lost their virginities together in that elevator which is cliché considering how Olivia writes her books. He claims her and just as they finished they were rescued by fireman. He got so possessive and told them to get out and closed the door but not before one of them snapped a pic and Jack was furious and sent it to himself then deleted it off their phone💀💀. Insta love, hot alpha millionaire, double virgins, HEA and kids.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the fifth book in the Love Comes First series. In this book, Brooke is the only sister of the Cline siblings and when she goes to her brothers' office building thinking it is their weekly night for dinner, she is wrong and it is the wrong day. Brooke has had a horrible day and when she goes to leave, she is joined in the elevator by Jack Cavill. Jack is very handsome and Brooke is attracted to him. When they get stuck in the elevator, they talk and realize they are both interested in the other. Jack and Brooke have an instant connection that grows the longer they are together. I really liked Brooke's book. I think she deserved to find happiness. I really liked this series and this was a good short and steamy read.

1. The storyline is pretty much the same with each book. The only difference is the setting.
2. Boy meets girl and it's insta-love/lust
3. Girl is a virgin, and boy has a baby/breeding kink
4. Girl gets knock up in the epilogue, almost always within less than a year since they meet. Boy has fast little swimmers.
5. Happy ever after
Is Love Comes First a good series? It's not bad. It's worth a read if you want a quick smut. Do you need to read all the book in the series? Most probably not. Like i said, the story is pretty much the same across all five books. You read one, you pretty much have read them all.

A wonderful end to a great series.
This is a fun series that have alpha heroes and kickass heroines and lots of funny scenes.
The last story is about the sister Brooke who we saw in the brothers story. She’s an actress that brings dinner every Thursday night to her brothers office. She had a bad news and got the dinner date wrong and that’s all she need to meet her other half. Fate had Brook and Jack meet and ended being stuck in an elevator. I will not talk about what happened next so not to spoil the story.
It’s great that we get to see the whole family.

Love at First Disaster by Olivia T. Turner is book 5 in her Love Comes First series. We finally get to see if Brooke gets her HEA. After getting stuck in an elevator with the very handsome Jack the book starts to sizzle. Olivia gave us one hot ending for Brooke and Jack, and wrapped up the entire Cline family in one wonderful HEA! Kudos!

Unexpected
So love the OTT alpha . steam was great but I got to epilogue and was so confused because I thought I missed a chunk of the story. I felt there was a huge jump and I didn't get as much of the actual story with the characters . it's why I knocked off a star. It was very abrupt for me.

This series is a bit cringe honestly. It’s just too fast and all books pretty much only have time for one sex scene. It’s fine but definitely not going to be winning any awards lol. I didn’t hate them though.
