Dynamic Read
This is the second book in a trilogy of awesome writing and very timely. The characters in book one, Kira & Ruger, pulled you into the plot as their characters come alive to the reader. The Huntress has met the man with the Lineage, however, she is not aware of this. Kira saves Ruger’s life in obedience to God’s voice & through events in her home they fall in love while she heals & hides him. Ruger is a Christian from a godly nation in which he gets Kira and daughter on an aircraft to his homeland. The Lineage of his nation has come to worship the bloodline in lieu of Christ. The same Generals of the Lineage are trying to usurp Ruger as the king of his nation but God begins to reveal things that are hidden and much of it through Kira, the undesirable, but chosen to be the Queen. A must read. I can’t wait for book three. Not only is Mrs. Humphreys a great writer, but has a prophetic view of Scripture woven into her books.

Getting repetitious
I appreciate the mention of God, but it's getting repetitious. Seems like I'm reading the same thing over and over when it comes to Kira. Her feelings and how she interacts with someone and every chapter seems to portray her same feelings over and over with Ruger and his sister. Lots of tears and the same doubts.

We have loved Book 2 of the War Torn Trilogy
Exciting from beginning to the end! We are so happy to join in the Rugar and Kira journey. We can't wait to start the last book of the series! We ended this book on Christmas Eve 2022.
