Having finished her final mission, Kite has graduated and become a fully fledged Seeker, charged with carrying messages and completing missions for her world-walking people. Unfortunately, her new job has turned out to be rather dull, and she misses Saryth, the mage she rescued from slavery, now worlds away and studying magic properly at last. Kite's decision to spice up her travels leads to unexpected complications when her side trip lands her in a world on the brink of revolution. The common people of Iapheros have had enough of being ruled over by the magic-using nobles, and Kite and Saryth fall headlong into the middle of a revolution, landing on opposing sides of the power struggle...

Morag Lewis is an author and comic artist who writes and draws fantasy stories, with occasional forays into science fiction and mystery. Her book Sun Fish Moon Fish won the Wishing Shelf Gold Award in 2012, and her short stories and comics have been commended in competitions such as the Yeovil Literary Prize and the Aeon Award. She is part of Sweatdrop Studios, a UK-based comic collaborative and independent publisher which has been producing comics for more than 15 years. She loves telling stories with and without pictures, and finds worldbuilding enormous fun as well as very distracting.
