This was a short, compelling surprisingly powerful story that, though short, really comes at you. I enjoyed it.
It is to short for me to reveal the plot at all. I just fear people will not read it if they do and they should. I am becoming more and more of a short story fan myself and I find that the stories I really enjoy are those that take the time to develop their characters so, while the pages maybe few, we, the readers, feel like we know the characters. This author did that wonderfully and the result was a bittersweet and surprisingly poignant story that reasonates.
If you like your stories short yet piercing you should read this. I like most genres but usually read full length books. However, there are times when I'm either not into a big book or just do not have the time. This read was more than satisfying and (little hint here) those who lean towards stories of hope and redemption will find an incredible little tale here. Happy reading!
