Elumay and Cailan
Elumay and Cailan have a taboo relationship according to her father, with Cailan being Native and Elu being white. So when her father finds out she's pregnant by Cailan, he decides to end everything for him. But Native legend says they will come back for revenge on those who wronged them.
I wasn't sure what to expect from this book, since it was advertised as horror romance. There wasn't much horror to the story, with the exception of the killings, but the romance was definitely there. The steam was great and the plot was so intriguing it had me invested the entire time. I wish the book was longer and had more details behind the story. The plot was so investing, but the story was so short!
My only issue is that the story kept going after multiple happy ending points. When you think the story is over, there's another chapter. Which would be fine, if it didn't start feeling like it was being drug out.

You know a book is good when it keeps you up all night reading and you wake up the next day wanting to continue reading and forget about life and doing adult things. That's exactly what this book did to me.

Good story to read. Took me a bit to read it. 5 star book. Not sure who to recommend this to. I think it would be a good book to talk about in book groups. Might reread this later on this year ( not 100% sure if I am or not but keeping an open mind about it)

Reapers love story 💕
Alumay is the daughter of a white man. Calian is an native. Their relationship is forbidden. Once her dad finds out of their relationship, hate takes over. Her father orders his death. He will not have his bloodline mixed with a native. Calian vows revenge on those responsible for his death. His love for her is so great, that his ancestor bring him back as a reaper to claim his family.

Overall a good story. Calian and Elumay are literally soul mates which plays into the whole foundation of their story. A little short which made me feel liked I missed a bit of info on the characters and their background. But the epilogues were great!

The book is advertised as a paranormal horror romance. I think it’s better suited as a paranormal romance as there wasn’t much horror to the story.
Despite there being a few spelling mistakes, the story is good and well thought out. I liked the characters.
But I do feel like a lot more detail is needed. For me the story was too short.
There were also too many happy endings, just when I felt it was over there was another chapter which made it feel a little dragged out.

It's a good story, different from what I usually read, but still good. I liked the connection between Calian and Elumay though I wish there were a little more info on the characters and their background because it feels like it's missing, but nonetheless, the story was entertaining and the ending was wonderful!

A dark and brutal love story about Callan and Elumay, set within a native belief about returning from the dead to exact vengeance and claim a soulmate.
