This was the perfect ending to Jack & Keri Ann's story. I loved every second of this book! I laughed, I awwed, I cried - a lot. It was just perfectly adorable and beautiful and moving and amazing and ... everything!!
I need this series to be on Netflix one day soon!!!
I feel utter contentment at everything this story brought into my life but do not be fooled by that, it felt hard fought even so. BEACH WEDDING was the story I've always wanted to happen, Jack Eversea and Keri-Ann needed a conclusion, even though they got their happily ever after. What I found as I read this was richness and depth and a couple with a real story, who were experiencing some downs with the ups. The uncertainty was compelling and the events that arose had me gripped to what would happen with these two beloved characters. Nevertheless, these two had chemistry.
"It was Jack and I. Our chemistry bigger than us, our hearts and bodies communicating to each other in a language that our brains and our tongues couldn't decipher in the real world."
Even though Jack and Keri-Ann have had two books dedicated to them, I felt huge growth in Jack's character particularly. The cast of Jazz and Joey brought that added more to this read, with friendship and family as a core element.
BEACH WEDDING made me ride the emotions trains, good and bad and I'm still processing the experience. There is a bittersweet enjoyment that comes from reading the culmination to these characters and if Natasha Boyd ever has the compulsion to write more for these two, I'll be there.
A copy of this book was provided by the author in return for a honest review.
So, I totally reread the previous books while reading this, because I couldn't resist remembering every little detail about Jack and Keri Ann's story. But Natasha Boyd has so many things going on in this short novel that I'm amazed. I usually avoid reading books after the HEA because what's left to read about? But this one is deffinitely a new installement and a perfect ending to their story. If you fell in love with this couple then this novella is a must read.
In 2013, I fell hopelessly in love with Jack, Kerri Ann, and the entire Butler Cove world. For the last few years, I’ve been eagerly waiting for these two to finally have their dream wedding and a happily ever after. Nothing with Jack and Kerri Ann has ever come easily, and I shed more tears than ever expected with this book. There are intense and surprising moments, but the love and chemistry from these two is as strong as ever. In the end, Natasha Boyd delivers complete perfection for one of my most beloved couples, and reminded me why I adore this series so completely. If you’ve read the previous books, you simply cannot miss this installment.
“I will love you until my last breath. And I will love you even beyond. For as many lifetimes as we are granted.”
I don’t want to be spoilerish, so there won’t be many details about the book in my review. Anyone that has traveled this journey deserves the full experience. I was reminded of how sexy Jack Eversea is! He has moments in this book that made me melt. It’s refreshing to see how mature Kerri Ann has become. Her times with Jazz were some of my favorite scenes. Their friendship and deep affection for one another really shines. Of course, it can’t be Butler Cover without a few sea turtles and beach magic. As with all the books, the setting is as mesmerizing and entertaining as the characters themselves. Boyd brings the Lowcountry to life and completely immerses you in the beauty of the area and the people that live there.
“And there are days, probably for everyone, when it’s easy to forget where we come from, and the values that are important to us….But I only have to be with my sister to see all the very best things….”
Even though this is the official ending for Jack and Kerri Ann, I am thrilled to see more from Butler Cove. Several characters intrigued me, and I can’t wait to see who might have a book in the future. If you are a romance fan, I highly recommend The Butler Cove Series.
* A huge thank you to Ms. Boyd for my advanced copy, and my paperback is already ordered from Amazon!*
I didn’t realize just how much I missed Jack and Keri Ann. I have been wanting to do a re-read but I always put it on the back burner and picked up a new read. I didn’t realize how full my heart would feel just spending some time with them again.
I’m not usually a fan of the wedding conclusions to a series. They tend to be trite and so full of cheese and gooey sweetness that I get a stomach ache. There’s also usually a lack of any real story to keep you engaged. That was not at all the case with Beach Wedding.
Jack and Keri Ann are back and just as wonderful as ever. There’s no lack of intrigue and excitement when it comes to their lives. This book was beautiful, poetic, and romantic as hell. And just when I thought I couldn’t love them more, there I was falling even deeper. The love these two characters have for each other is like an entirely separate living being. It’s so large and colorful and just envelopes you right into the pages.
This book is so full of love, and not just Jack and Keri Ann’s. The love of their friends and family is also so overwhelming. I love spending time in Butler Cove with all of these people.
If you are a fan of the Butler Cove series, I cannot recommend this book highly enough. I was so impressed by it. It’s so well done. I’ve been in a book slump for a couple of months and Natasha Boyd pulled me right out of it when she pulled me right into this story. I was starting to forget how much I enjoyed reading. Her writing was the perfect reminder. Do yourself a favor, if you haven’t already, and read this series. It’s one of my favorites for a reason. I’m off now to see if I can order a paperback yet.
{I received an advance review copy of this book from the author; however all thoughts, words and opinions in this review are mine and mine alone.}
You know how some stories don't feel like stories? They feel like experiences because they affect you so greatly, they leave you feeling so emotionally connected with the characters who become your best friends? That's what the Eversea series has been like for me. Natasha Boyd is such a phenomenal author, she tugs you into the story until everything is happening to you, and you're the one falling in love with a movie star, and now, getting ready to tie the knot with him.
Because of the stunning writing and amazing descriptions, I experienced everything right alongside Keri Ann - the breathtaking beauty of Lowcountry, the strong bonds of friendship and community with her close circle, the feelings of insecurity, happiness, excitement and love. I love how Keri Ann and Jack's relationship simultaneously felt exactly the same but also more mature. Reading about them again felt familiar in the very best way, like coming home.
But I didn't find Beach Wedding as perfect as I had Eversea. Eversea and Forever, Jack captured my heart and left me emotionally drained (and I mean that in the best possible way) in a way that Beach Wedding didn't manage to. Something I can't quite pinpoint felt a bit off. Some of the dialogues came across to me as a tad sappy (which is a thought I've never had for any of Ms. Boyd's other books). The sex scenes didn't feel nearly as seductive. The plot was a little too obvious (the title in itself is kind of a spoiler), except for the ending which I didn't see coming and which I thought was brilliant. Maybe the experience of falling in love for the first time could never be matched.
That said, there is a lot to like about this book, and it was definitely worth the read. The dashes of symbolism were beautiful. I loved that there was a section with Jack's POV as well (it's no surprise really that that was my favourite part of the book). Though Beach Wedding is Ms. Boyd's shortest novel by far, it is the perfect length and was very well edited. And the cover is so so stunning, I could stare at it forever. I'd buy Ms. Boyd's books just for their covers - they're all so beautiful.
I'm not going to tell you to read Beach Wedding, because if you've read Eversea, I'm positive you'll be queueing up to buy this book first thing, come March 28th. And if you haven't, well what are you doing with your life? Go read it asap! (But hands off Jack, he's mine.) I promise you won't regret it.

Was it really 2013 when a mega movie star first visited Butler Cove and swept a young waitress named Keri Ann off her feet? Well, really Jack Eversea swept us all off our feet and made us love him even when he was a bad boy! A fantastic series - what a roller coaster ride these two have taken readers on. Nothing has ever gone smoothly, that's for sure -- even when the chemistry has been combustible from the start. It is sad to see the storyline for Jack and Keri Ann come to an end. Hopefully, knowing there will be future Butler Cove characters getting their stories told will give us an update on Butler Cove's favorite couple.
If you think things are going to be all lollipops and roses this go round, think again. It wouldn't be Jack and Keri Ann without some angst and upheaval. But that's all the hints I'm handing out. Natasha Boyd makes sure that readers will enjoy this ride to the end. I would be remiss if I didn't give kudos to Jazz for once again being the best friend a girl could ever need. I love that girl!
The highlight for me is watching a more mature Keri Ann, who is successful in her own right, deal with Jack on a level playing field. Jack can be a mess sometimes -- but a thoroughly lovable one. Fun times on the beach with friends and loved ones as the sun sets on beautiful Butler Cove one more time.
This was the absolute perfect conclusion to Jack and Keri Ann's story. The Butler Cove series is one of my all time favorites! The writing is so descriptive that you feel like you are immersed in the Lowcountry along with the characters. It's very difficult to find fault in Natasha Boyd's writing, I just connect emotionally to her art!
I genuinely felt like the story was authentic to the characters and to the series. It was a complete circle and while the reader will definitely experience an array of emotions reading it, you will feel completely satisfied with the completion of this couple's journey.
Wish I could give it more than 5 stars - very well done!!!
I gotta take a NB break. I loved what I've read so far, but Jack was OTT with the emotions and I just need something different. Don't get me wrong, I really liked it but
I really loved this book. I'm so happy all the characters are back for another book! I love all the emotions from this. There's laughter, sadness, hotness and lovingness. I love Jack and Kari Ann together. They are such a great couple.
I'm sitting here after finishing reading Beach Wedding and my heart is so full. I am still trying to find the words to convey how great this book is. Natasha Boyd is like fine wine, she gets better with each book. Her writing knows no bounds. Here is an author who is honing her craft and growing as a writer. It's what keeps me coming back for more. I will not get the same plot with the same formula. I will, however get a perfectly crafted novel with fun light hearted moments as well as emotional highs and lows that bring tears to my eyes.
I was so excited to return to Butler Cove and check in on Jack and Keri Ann and fans will love what they find too. I won't speak on the book itself because there are so many spoilers and I do not believe in spoilers. At all! So go read it. Be prepared for heartfelt moments that will make you cry, cute moments that will have you laughing and smiling like a goon, and as only Jack Freaking Eversea can deliver, some sexy times for our movie star and his girl.
It is the perfect Beach Wedding like none other you have ever read.
Awesome book! love the completion of Jack and Keri's story. Beautiful. Read this in a day could not put it down. I'm a sucker for romance and this was perfect.
I fell in love with Jack and Keri Ann after getting to know them in Eversea (the first book about them). I loved reading about them falling in love. A famous movie star who falls in love with a small town waitress. I used to fantasize about a hot actor falling in love with me when I was a teenager (and sometimes I still do), so I love reading about it coming true.
Keri Ann and Jack didn’t always have an easy relationship, but they would always fight for it. Jack has a terrible past that still influences his life sometimes. Keri Ann loves her independence and works hard for it. She has problems with Jack being famous. There isn’t one thing that Jack won’t do for his Keri Ann. Keri Ann knows Jack like nobody else does. They love each other unconditionally.
I wanted to read about their engagement and wedding from the moment they got together in Eversea. It didn’t happen in the previous books, so I’ve been dying to read this book! I just expected a wedding in this book, like the title suggests, but I got so much more than that. I’m speechless. Beach Wedding was everything I hoped it would be and so much more. There were so many perfect, beautiful, romantic and emotional moments. I absolutely love Jack, Keri Ann and them together! They are a beautiful, solid and strong couple.
I love all the secondary characters! Keri Ann and Jack have awesome family members and friends. They all made me laugh and put a big smile on my face multiple times. Jazz is important to Keri Ann and I really love their friendship. Jazz is the best friend that Keri Ann needs. Jazz and Joey are still going strong and I was so happy to read that, not that I expected anything else. I’m already impatiently waiting for the next book in the Butler Cove series!
If you have loved the previous books in this series, you can’t miss this book. It’s my favorite book of the series so far. Superb writing and so much love. It has been a few days since I finished this book, but I still think about it sometimes and smile about some scenes.
-- My honest review is based on an advanced reader copy of this book. --
In all honesty my heart went into palpitations just thinking something would happen to destroy the happily ever after laid out for Jack and Keri Ann. DON'T PANIC, Natasha takes us on a journey of the struggles any relationship can face and the benefit of having someone to share your burdens with.
Jack has finished writing, directing and starring in the movie about his father and childhood. Although, the whole process has taken it's toll on his psyche, making him question himself and the attributes that can be linked to genetics. Unfortunately, this also makes him question his ability to be a husband and a father. Keeping his concerns to himself creates an unnecessary rift between himself and Keri Ann.
A few surprises come their way paving the path of their future. I loved the examination of nature versus nurture within the narrative, poignantly portrayed in relation to Jack.
Dream weddings, financial security, abusive relationships, friends and family all play a role in Beach Wedding. The romance is at an all time high between jack and Keri Ann even with the personal dilemma Jack faces.
Beach Wedding isn't without moments of angst but it doesn't overshadow the innate heart warming nature of the plot. Beach Wedding is a fabulous completion of Jack and Keri Ann's story, fans of the series will eat it up.
Ok, so when it comes to another sequel book in a series that already left me with a happy ever after, I'm always a little skeptical as to how necessary the book will be, will I like it? Will it just drag on a storyline that ready wasn't needed? Is the book just to create more drama for the feature couple, who really should have just been left alone in their happy bubble? And I can tell you I've read many of these types of books & they can leave a sour taste in my mouth full of disappointment that I didn't just leave it at the last book.
So imagine my surprise when I heard there was not only another book in the Butler Cove series (my thoughts from above came flooding in) but that it was also about Jack & Kerri Ann. So when I started reading the continuation of Jack & Kerri Ann's story and found it had none of the above (thank god). I thoroughly enjoyed it. Where I thought I left them in a happy ever after bubble in the previous book, this just took me one step further to completing their story for me. It was the book I didn't know I needed until I read it.
Thank you again Natasha Boyd for taking me away to spend more time with these two, once again you captured my heart reading your book and as always left me wanting and waiting to read more books from you.
As one of my favorite series, I don't think I could ever get tired of Jack and Keri Ann or their friends! It's not a spoiler to say that this book is Jack and Keri Ann's wedding story but other than that, I don't want to say anything else about the plot.
This book was honestly not what I was expecting but I still enjoyed it. There's some angst (that's the part I wasn't really expecting) but there is also joy and some of the most beautiful wedding vows I've seen in a book.
There are still some characters in Butler Cove with untold stories so I'm hoping the author continues as I can think of at least two more I'd love to read!
*Note that this book is not a stand alone and you need to at least read Eversea and Forever Jack before Beach Wedding.
"Beach Wedding" is a wedding story on steroids. Full blown. Full throttle. Words are inadequate to fully describe how perfect this romance novel is. Perfect couple. Perfect love. Perfect finale to a riveting series.
As usual, there's nothing predictable to this part of Jack and Keri Ann's love story. Nothing cliche. And yet, despite all the heart-wretching twists and turns on the way to the altar, we get our happy ever-after ... and a whole lot more.
And to make things even better, we get all this in a lovely Lowcountry setting.
Can this really be the end? I certainly hope not, but if it is, this story is a perfect way to wrap things up.
I strongly recommend "Beach Wedding" to all who read contemporary romance.
Book me a room at The Butler Cove Inn!! This was like coming home for me! This is a beautifully written story. I feel like I know Jack and Keri Ann personally. This is a must read for anyone who has read the previous books in the series. I swooned at the words Jack spoke to Keri Ann. He is just so romantic! Their story just gets better and better! Though this may be the last book for Jack and Keri Ann I feel like there are a lot more stories to tell in Butler Cove! I need to hear more about Jazz, Joey Jasper, Liz , Cooper and a new character Nicole! Thank you Natasha for not disappointing this fan!! Awesome book!!
I received an advance copy of this book in return for an honest review
I just loved this book. Jack is still the sweetest heartthrob there is and Keri Ann is like the free spirit who gives him strength and grounding. Every time I read a book about this cast of characters I am so sucked in I can't do anything else until I read the last word. The writing is so good, the characters have depth and make you want to sneak on in and be friends with them too.
This one was perfect, leaves you wanting another book for Joey and Jazz! Plus Cooper seems to be set up for another book too perhaps!!
I have been waiting for this book and now that it’s here, the smile has not left my face in the days since I finished Beach Wedding. Natasha Boyd has given fans of Keri Ann Butler and Jack Eversea the story that was so worth waiting for (as all good things are) and I know they will love it with their whole hearts.
If you have not had a chance to read the Butler Cove series, there is no time like the present. They are beautifully written books that will have you making reservations to visit the low country of Georgia and South Carolina in no time flat. These books transport you to a corner of the world with a pace that is slower and characters that you will want to hang out with for hours on end.
For me, Beach Wedding was everything. It definitely put me through my paces emotionally in all the best ways. I loved how seamless it was returning to Butler Cove and being in the company of this couple. Set four years after the end of Forever Jack, Keri Ann and Jack are living their life together as normal as one can just slightly out of the spotlight. Their life is good, though there are challenges, but they are met with a strong conviction that their bond is powerful enough to see things through.
Keri Ann and Jack are the core of this series, but the supporting cast also shines, they are multifaceted characters whose lives way from Planet KAJ are equally fascinating. I am holding out hope that their stories will also be told, because I am not quite ready to leave Butler Cove.
This book is every bit as emotional and raw as expected. I became a Natasha Boyd fan when she did a takeover in another author's FB group. I read Eversea and fell in love, not only with Jack and Keri Ann, but with Natasha's writing. She sets the scene flawlessly and makes me want to be part of the characters' lives.
This book has twists and turns, some expected and others that came out of nowhere. I'm a bit bored by the pregnancy storylines in romance series, but I guess by the 5th book it makes sense so I digress. By the end I was a blubbering mess, and I'm excited to participate in her contest to name the baby! Jack and Keri Ann are real, relatable and just so dang cute together!
I enjoyed seeing the intertwining of peoples' lives and see the potential for even more books in the Butler Cove world. I'm so glad Natasha stopped by that group one day because I would surely have missed out on the Butler Cove books, which are absolutely some of my favorites!
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
Beach Wedding was simply unputdownable. I already finished reading the day after I started the book so that shows how good it was. I already cried a couple of times. It gave me so many feels!
So this was the last book about Keri Ann and Jack (though it's not the last Butler Cove book). I've loved these two right from the start so I was really glad to read about their happy ending. The author wrote it all in such a beautiful way.
This book did not only pack an emotional punch, it was also a bit thrilling towards the end. I was all anxious about what was happening even though I knew everything would be all right eventually.
Overall, Beach Wedding by Natasha Boyd was in one word: perfection. I couldn't have imagined a better ending for Keri Ann Butler and Jack Eversea.
Once again Natasha has blowing me away with all sorts of feels reading this book, once i started to read this I couldn't put it down just like Eversea and Forever Jack. To be quite honest I didn't think anything could make me love the gang from Butler Cove more but this book did. We catch up with Jack and Keri Ann a few years later and finally Keri Ann wants to say Yes , but...... well if you want to know what happens then your going to have to read it :D . But what i will say is this book dose not disappoint in any way shape or form, so if you loved the original books then you do not want to miss this.
I am so happy that this book got told, even though in their last book they had a happy after.
This book shows that every couple has its ups and downs and by coping with a problem yourself, others may not only get the wrong idea, but once the problem is shared this become so much less of a problem.
There is a great deal of an emotional rollercoaster, but in the best way. We get to see to see most of the previous Butler Cove residents along with three new characters. I really hope that Nicole and Cooper get a book together someday.
I will admit however that the ending is quite emotional.
Natasha was so kind to gift me an ARC of this story. Which made me so excited because this series has been one of my favorites to read!
If you are just now stumbling upon this series, start it from the beginning ASAP! It's a really lovely story with A list characters. You will not be able to put it down.
If you are a fan of this series than you should already have this story on preorder--what a way to end a series! I loved visiting Butler Cove again, I forgot how much I was missing this series.
Thank you Natasha for bringing this story to life. Looking forward to your next book!
Ahhhh to me, Beach Wedding was like coming home... Jack Eversea and Keri Ann Butler are one of my all time favorite book couples. I'm honestly sad that their story has come to an end. If you are a fan of the Butler Cove series, you will not be disappointed with this one. In true Natasha Boyd fashion , Beach Wedding is beautifully written and draws you in from the very beginning leaving you wanting more.
( I can only hope we'll see more from the Butler Cove series.. ahem.. Cooper? Nicole? we shall see *fingers crossed* ) ;)
The best way to love a story is to grow up with it. I fell in love with the words and characters reading 'Eversea'. Having Keri Ann, Jack and the others back, doing their growing up like we do is a privilege. This book is really well written and my love for the characters only grew. Thank you Natasha, really cannot wait to see you at RARE17 to tell you just that in person!
This book was my favorite of the Butler Cove Series. It was everything I hoped it would be and more. I laughed, smiled throughout the entire book, and cried. It was so great to read the rest of Jack and Kerri Ann's story. Natasha writes with so much emotion and love. She has a way of making you feel like you are experiencing the same emotions as her characters. I loved this book ! FIVE STARS
