The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Speaking of filling…..wait, that’s for later. Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with!
YOU’VE BEEN WARNED!
This is book six in The Egan Ranch series each book reads as a standalone however, why would you read just one when you can read all of them. Although, my only draw back is I want to know how it ends right now instead of waiting! Doug and Darlene are together, and the intensity of the chemistry hasn’t stopped in fact the magnetic pull when they are together is just as strong. However, Duane won’t seem to accept that they are together and will do anything/everything to keep them apart guess my issue is he doesn’t want her really and he doesn’t want anyone else with her so he hires someone to hurt their animals (I mean who hurts animals …a jerk) to push her in his direction and when that didn’t work he hired some guys to beat up Doug thinking that will bring her running back to him but he was wrong she clung to Doug and finally they outsmarted Duane but will it be the end of him or will there more incidents from him or will he run with his tail between his legs?

The storyline picks up with Doug being a hospital in California after being brutally attacked. Doug and Darlene are awesome together, the chemistry is off the charts. Doug is the ultimate alpha male and my kinda of guy. Duane Matthews has done a lot bad things including allegedly sending his goons to take Doug out which was a no, no. Duane just will not go away when it comes to Darlene; I don’t think he even wants her it was her family’s property that he wanted.
Doug sets out to hit Duane where it hurts by taking away all of his money. How will Duane handle that, will he go away quietly, will there be more drama?
This is an awesome romance that I surely hate that there is only one more book in the series. The chemistry is awesome, love the characters, easy read, fast paced, drama, mystery, page turner, entertaining and hopefully Liam and Ava will their story told along with Carol, Lori and Doug’s best friend.

This part of the sage begins with Doug being attacked and end will what made me laugh. This leg of their journey will keep you on the edge of your seat as they navigate through love, deceit and danger.

I received this book from Booksprout as an arc copy for a voluntary review. A well written book with a great storyline. The characters are well developed and believable. The chemistry between the characters is amazing and that makes this a page turner with the drama and fast pace.

I absolutely love this hot, steamy, captivating book with exceptional characters in an erotic world that is so realistic it felt like I was on the journey with them. I recommend reading this book by an extraordinary author that knows how to captivate the attention of their readers.
