The Whitethorn Society doesn’t exist. At least, that’s what they want you to believe.

On the outside, people see Viv as a spoiled little rich girl who lives for designer clothing and wild parties, not the strong, capable woman she tries so hard to be. But money and power don’t buy love and acceptance, and Viv has definitely learned that the hard way.

College was a taste of freedom from that life, but then, that freedom ends up being stripped away when Viv is expected to go back to the family she hates to embrace a destiny she doesn’t want. Only, she believes that her destiny is to slave away for her family business, not join an ancient society of magical beings that shouldn’t even be real. Secrets and danger lie around every corner, but so do answers and love that she so desperately craves.

With old friends and new, one seriously annoying brother, and an ex that won’t go away, not that she really wants him to, Viv has to face new challenges and become the Whitethorn she was born to be.

She is the key. Whatever that means.

Rinna has out done herself on this one, I was up til almost midnight two nights in a row so I could finish it. I was absolutely hooked. For all you fantasy fans out there the first 20 percent is leading up to the fantasy so at first it seem like it just fiction. Although that 20 percent had me hook line and sinker. Rinna's attention to detail makes it to easy to see the world that she has created come to life. Viv has been put down her whole life by the family who is meant to love you and be your support but despite them all she has held her head high and made something of herself. When she is thrust into this world that her family has hide from her, to there surprise she maybe even more then they could have ever expected. Not only does she have all this to deal with but her ex Gian is back in her day to day life. Having to see the one who shattered you heart so completely would be just about anyone's undoing. Viv will fight though like she has her whole life for the few things she holds dear. It full of action, steam (lots) and the humor is on point. Just to give you a taste of Viv here is one of my favorites quotes "If she was going to be a b****h, I could be one right back, but with flair." The other one is longer, it in chapter 27 when her bother calls her a p***y. Believe you'll know it when you read it, I was almost crying from laughing to hard. Excited to see the story continue

OMG I mean are you read for a read, that is amazing? Then strap yourself in and get ready to be lost, in an amazing world. You have awesome take no crap characters, adventure, danger at every turn. What would you do if all your life, you grew up thinking one thing, only too find out. All your life has been one lie after another. What worse? Grow up in a house, where no one wants you. Could you handle it? You have to come meet Viv, and see for your self. This is the first of the series and with Rinna, you know its only getting better. This is a fast read, that grabs you, and doesn't let go. Can't wait to see what happens next

This book was amazing and I was hooked from the first page. It had all the emotions and feels, and plenty of steamy sex scenes. I loved the characters, especially Viv and her pet rabbit Donovan, her best friends Iris and Lyla, her ex Gian and her brother Alden and his friends. There is plenty of action and twists and turns.
The majority of the book was written from Viv's point of view, but there were a few chapters from Gian's viewpoint - I really enjoyed hearing Gian's voice too. The epilogue sets it up for book 2 - without leaving this book on a cliff hanger. Can't wait for book 2.

This was a really good start to a series, and that epilogue definitely made me curious about the next book. This was really well written which made it easy to relate to the characters. The awful parenting, to the vindication of knowing you finally have the power to be you despite them all. It was all very easily felt through the words on the pages. The concept and storyline are very original and I definitely can’t wait for the next book. I hope every FMC gets their very own happy ending, in every sense of the word 😉

This book was incredible! It was one of those books that had me on the edge of my seat needing to know what was on the next page. The characters are beautifully written and the story will take you on a roller coaster of emotions. I can’t wait for the next book because I need more Viv and Gian in my life ❤️

Malicious was so good. I loved the tension between Gian and Viv. Her twin besties Iris and Lyla were just plain supportive Ioved them. And Donovan her bunny stole the show. I want more of Aimas and Cephas. The ending was a shock I loved it.

Malicious was such a mind-blowing read! This is my First Fey type book ever and I fell in love with it! It took me 8hrs to read. The book gave off a collage girl vibe like something I would read in high school.
with all the good drama, love, and action you can take in. All the characters are well thought out and executed with such amazing twists. I can't wait to read the next one! <3
