Finally awake, but suffering from amnesia. Aaron can’t trust the human doctor. He knows she’s keeping secrets. He’s sure she’s part of the hunter plot that brought him down, but the only way to get the truth is to trick it from her own lips. He’ll seduce the truth out of her. Someone’s going to get hurt, he’s sure it won’t be him. But her scent is distracting, her direct gaze sees right through him and her touch only makes him hunger for more. He’s missing something important, but she won’t tell. Aisha is mourning the vampire she loved. Aaron’s touch still makes her heart sing, his presence electrifies her, but his heart is no longer hers. Aisha throws herself into a desperate fight against the hunters to try and drown her painful loss. But the bond between them won’t be denied, and the truth will be dragged into the light. Welcome to the Bloodline Vampires, a warrior brotherhood of dark, dangerous and deadly vampires who will stop at nothing to protect their fated mates.
Dr. Aisha Patil opened the window to let out the smoke from the expensive scientific equipment her partner Davies just ruined. The samples were all ruined. She would have to do the experiments all over by herself since he couldn’t be trusted with them. He blamed her for not warning him, but she had told him when she brought the samples in, twice more when she stored them in the refrigerator, and she had put a written warning label on the shelf they sat on. Did he do this deliberately? They were the only team in the country with access to vampires to do this research. This was just another in a long list of things gone wrong and equipment malfunctioning. She wanted to run another experiment on the poison they'd taken from the vampire hunters’ stronghold. And she was behind in her research. She left Davies and walked down a dark hallway. She saw something move, a flicker, and it was so cold. Then a shadow raced toward her, covered her in black, and she went numb. When she was put down again, a man stood there. She was about to run but she knew him and when he tilted his head, she saw it was Aaron! It couldn’t be Aaron because Aaron was asleep in the Sanctuary in the months-long coma the hunters put him in, and she could not save him. Then he whispered, “Who are you?”
At Sanctuary, she rushed into his room, but he was still in the coma after a brief awakening. They were losing him. None of the vampire blood was working. But she had not tried her own. She asked her assistant Eden to leave the room, saying she was trying someone with the hunters’ poison that could harm Eden. Then she cut her wrist and let blood drip onto his lips. It did nothing but, as she pulled back, he grabbed her wrist and his teeth sunk into the wound. Her pain disappeared. When she briefly thought he was taking too much, she relaxed again. At least he would be saved. Her thoughts entered his mind and he stopped drinking. Finally awake, but suffering from amnesia, Aaron doesn’t trust the human doctor. Is she part of the hunter plot that did this to him?
Aisha has lost the vampire she loved. Aaron’s heart is no longer hers. Will she seek vengeance on the hunters who did this to him? To them? Has she lost Aaron forever?
This is such an exciting story line. It’s very different from most vampire stories we read and absolutely riveting. If you haven’t read “The Dark Vampire”, that should be read first so you understand what has happened here. I strongly recommend this book. It will keep you completely immersed in the story as the suspense relentlessly takes you through the action without slowing down. I loved every minute of it!
This Bloodline Vampires series just keeps getting better and better. Aaron has been my favorite vampire since the first book of the series. Although, Lucien certainly gives him a run for his money in my affections. But then every book I have read, I say that that guy is my favorite. Why choose, right? 😉
Aaron, the vampire elder and head of the Clarity Bloodline, has been in a coma for months. A result of the poison given him by the terrorist group HUNT. Aisha Patil, a blood disorder researcher has been working tirelessly to find a cure for him. What no one knows is that Aaron is her soulmate. She finally figures out an antidote only to find that he has lost some of his memories, including what they were to each other. He believes that she is a HUNT agent working against him and the rest of the vampires. And yet, he has a nagging feeling in the back of his mind about her.
I love this couple. Aisha is a solid friend to the vampire community and works in the lab they have set up in the Sanctuary. Aaron is one of the oldest vampires, having been turned, along with Lucien, when they were both soldiers in the Roman army. I love that they still speak Latin when it’s just the two of them. We’ve had several books to get to know Aaron. But the novella First of Vampires, that you can get for free when you sign up for her newsletter (at www.ljred.com), is the story of how Aaron and Lucien were turned. It provides a lot of the backstory of their personalities, what drives them and why they decided to take Kostas up on his offer to turn them. That was a lot of verbiage to say that character and world building in this series is top notch.
The series prequel The Dark Vampire is the story of his initial meeting with Aisha and lays the groundwork for the events in the series, but particularly this book. I highly recommend this series to all fans of PNR books, especially if you love vampires.
The Lost Vampire by L. J. Red is the newest installment of the mesmerizing Vampire Bloodline series. This book features the evolving love story between the characters of Aaron, an ancient vampire who is the head of his own bloodline and Aisha, a medical doctor and scientist who is studying vampire blood. This book was full of twists and turns that kept me reading until I finished the book in one sitting. I loved these characters and the story was amazing. This is another great addition to a wonderful series that I definitely recommend for anyone looking to get lost in a great love story. You will enjoy reading this book as much as I did. The Lost Vampire is an engaging love story wrapped in a mystery.
OMG 😳 omg 😳 omg 😆 !!!!! This Bloodline Vampires series just keeps getting better and better. Aaron has been my 😍favorite vampire 🧛♀️since the first book of the series. Although, Lucien, Talon, Neal, Jacob, and Ben and anyone else I missed certainly give him a run for his money in my affections. Why choose, right???? 😉 ❤️🔥❤️🥰 This book was full of twists and turns that kept me reading until I finished the book in one sitting. I loved these characters and the story was amazing. This is another great addition to a wonderful series that I definitely recommend for anyone looking to get lost in a great love story.
due to being poisoned Aaron has lost his memory of the last several hundred years and cannot remember not only all the things he has set up about the bloodlines and the shadows, but the one woman who is his souls match, can she heal him and save the Sanctuary from being killed by the same hunters and an even worse poison? This story is wonderful and filled with action, adventure, tons of emotion and eventually steam.

I was allowed to read and advance copy of this book via Booksprout and this is my honest review.
This is so good. The storyline has a fast pace, and the tension kept me glued to the story with murder/danger, mystery, soulmates, etc. I really liked Dana and Lucien, as well as the supporting characters. The flow is overall good, but it got a bit wooden a few times - it didn’t detract from the story, but it felt jarring. Dana and Lucien get their HEA, but there lots of trouble ahead in the vampire world. I look forward to reading more of this series!

When one lover forgets the other is a deliciously painful trope for those who like to rip out their own hearts. I am one of those masochists. Aisha is ready to give up everything for a chance to cure the vampire she loves, and he has the nerve to come back from a coma with no memory of her. His suspicions of her cut to the quick and I was on the edge of my seat waiting for the moment he remembered how much she meant to him.

I loved this series! Why you ask? The characters are so well fleshed out. The storyline is very creative and the protagonists are scary as hell! The soulmate bond Even though it is a part of each story, it is approached differently by each character so it never gets stale. Though I am extremely picky about typographical errors. They didn't bother me so much because the stories were that good! I have read all of them and can't wait for the next installment with Ben and Lilly. Kudos Ms. Red.
A world full of dark, mysterious, dangerous vampires who stop at nothing to protect their fated mates. This book draws you in from the beginning and holds you there till the end. The connection between the characters is amazing. The author takes us to another world with these characters. I can't wait to read the next book in this series. You will not be disappointed.
The Lost Vampire is book 7 of the Bloodline series by LJ Red. An interesting paranormal romance between Aaron and Aisha filled with lots of twists and turns.. Aisha is naive and clueless but is one of the best in her field. Aaron is a vampire with lots of baggage and amnesia. A great read for anyone that loves read dramatic and dangerous fated mates paranormal romance.

This is the continuation of Aaron’s and Aisha’s story. Aisha saves Aaron’s life but he has lost his memories he doesn’t remember her and that upsets Aisha but she has more important work to do right now, plus we get a bit of Markus’s story where he escapes from the hunters and we get a bit about the hunters as well. This is a fantastic story I loved it and the characters and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

This book is full with murder/danger, mystery and romance. With each book that comes out in this series just seem to be getting better and better. Fantastic plot and characters. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book via Booksprout.
The beginning was rocky between the doc. and Aaron. Good thing the heart knows what it wants. This story had delicious tension and a gratifying outcomes. Im ready to read Ben and Lily’s story
My favourite book from the series so far. I love Aisha's character. She's just so good. And oh my god her work drama is so relatable. Aaron is in a koma so we don't get a lot from him but he is a mysterious and exciting character.
This book had me hanging on for dear life. More more suspenseful than the previous ones and I was worried but I completely fell for Aisha and Aaron but also felt angry towards them for their reaction and actions. Phew!!! Delicious and I’m longing for more!!!!
Kept me interested from start to finish! Looking forward to more in the series. I absolutely love strong female characters. Had an intriguing storyline, with future story building.
So excited to read Aaron's story. He ended up in a coma for several books and he finally comes out of it. So much suspense rolled up in this book I read it from beginning to end almost without stopping.
Ah, sweet love, violence, intrigue and did I say love. Enjoyed this book and I know I am reading the entire series. Join me into the journey of the undead.
Exciting and thrilling throughout. I enjoyed the characters chemistry between them especially the storyline also. Fantastic book to read. Lots happen in each chapter
Excellent writing, engrossing story and hot vampires. I read it in one sitting, straight after the prequel. If that's your kind of thing, you won't be disappointed!
This is, finally, the story of Aaron, the vampire who has been in a coma for most of this series, and Aisha, his doctor. I have been waiting and wating for L.J. Red's next book in this series and had just about given up. I'm so glad Amazon alerted me that The Lost Vampire was to be published. If you are a fan of this series, it is everything you've been waiting for. You know what I'm saying - just read the book.
