In this book Troy explores the concept of authentic worship, true submission to scripture, and a philosophical and psychological dive into why these things are difficult. Written as a exploration, and not necessarily as an expert giving instruction, the material is very approachable while having enough depth to get you thinking deeply on the material yourself. The "ponderings" at the end of each chapter are a welcome addition, allowing for a deeper personal study of the material. Overall, a great book that every Christian should explore.
