I really enjoyed this sweet, romantic story of Sienna and Trent ❤️ it’s about two people who meet after Sienna’s grandmother died (Trent was her estate lawyer) and eventually fall in love. If you enjoy sweet romances ( Hallmark movie vibes), then give this book a chance. I really wish the story was longer but, I did like it. I downloaded this book as a courtesy from the authors Facebook page (thank you ☺️).
This is a mixed up family with too many problems that there seems no end to. They keep going back & forth & I'm having a little trouble remember which one something terrible happen to years ago in the shed that she won't talk about & she has yet to mention & they all left & all seem to come back at the same time with problems of their own. Bella was gonna take over the Cafe from her Mom & while she was preparing dinner it mysteriously burn down while Bella was trying to get out & left her badly burned. A fireman was bringing his mother there to eat that night & he went in to try to get Bella out & was injured himself but not as bad as Bella. He's fallen in love with her but she thinks she so ugly from her burns no one can love her & she just wants to hide. Alexis has met up with Conner who's working on the Cafe trying to get it built back. Conner & her were an item back in high school. She tries to runaway from him like she did back then. Anna is hiding out from a lawsuit from a malpractice &her son has finally come to visit. So we now have one big happy family with their mom & their aunt. What will happen next??
I was given this ARC book for free & I giving my honest review to the best of my ability. I wonder what will happen with Conner & Alexia now that they have decided to see each other & Bella & the fireman have decided to actually go on a DATE! Wow!
A very short, feel-good predictable romance suitable for young teens and for quick beach reads. This story can easily be read in one sitting. The main protagonist, Sienna, flies to Florida to attend her Grandmother's funeral, where she meets the young lawyer, Trent, who is handling her Grandma's will. Sparks fly and romance ensues.
I am not sure why this book doesn't have a cover in Goodreads, but I received it free through a Book Funnel offer. The cover shows a red-haired woman standing in a beach-like setting, and it doesn't appear in Amazon at all, but all six books in this author's Series "Sisters of the Shore" are available as a boxset for $1.25 which makes me believe that Hayley Summers is a very new and young author just getting started in her writing career. Perhaps she is not yet taking her writing seriously or perhaps she is writing for a teen audience.
"A glimmer of hope is all you need to find happiness." This was my favorite line in the book. I read an advance copy, so I tried to overlook the awkward sentences that needed punctuation. I did not like that at the age of 79 the words "it was time" were used to explain someone's passing. 79 isn't that old anymore!
This was a very short read. I got sidetracked in reading it , but it could be read in one setting. I tend to think it could be the start of a series about Trent and Sienna. There are several ways the story could be made into a series by picking up a few threads and Enhancing. Maybe a little longer in content.
This is just a sweet little book, more a novella, where boy meets girl and girl meets boy and the connection instantly happens. This is a clean story so even though the reader knows there is a fire lit between the characters, nothing physical happens. Not sure if this author rites books that are always “clean” but it can be refreshing.
This was an easy-to-read, charming love story. It seemed rather simplistic, and there were lots of grammatical errors to overlook, but the story was sweet and entertaining. This was my first book by this author and I’m interested in reading some of her other titles.
As. It’s one of those books I can live thru. He is a lawyer and a contractor. She owns her own florist shop. Her grandmother dies giving her an inn that has been closed for repairs. And the journey begins. I would love her granmother too
Sigh! This book has such a lovely ending scene! Really liked the story but possibly needs more details to make it substantial which is why I have given 4 stars. It’s a quick, clean romantic read. Enjoy!
I received this book from Voracious Readers Only in exchange for an honest review. I really liked this book. The characters are great. You will find yourself rooting for them to end up together .
This was a very short amazing book about Trent and Sienna. I was rooting for them the whole time. Great romance story that could be made into a series I'd love to read!!
Sweet short read that has loss and love all wrapped together. The story-line brought back fond memories of my grandmother. Nicely written, thoroughly enjoyed.
I received an ARC of this book, and although there were some grammatical errors, I did enjoy this quick read. Sienna goes to Florida with her parents after her grandmother dies - and sparks later ensue with the young lawyer who read the will. Sometimes the book seems to go in too many directions, but I was able to follow the storyline and look forward to reading the next book in the series to see what happens next. This is a sweet young romance, and a nice beachy read.
