Gorgeous picture book with a lovely message and a really sweet father/son relationship. Different stars certainly are something to celebrate not shy away from. The idea of a career in star making and repairing is absolutely magical - make sure you have some crafty bits so you can make some stars afterwards too!
The illustration is very beautiful. And "the star maker" is dreamlike job! Finn is good-natured and creative child. very adorable. I love him so much. I enjoyed the book thoroughly.
(Library Borrow) A little girl at the library was picking up random books and giving them out and this was ours so thought why not, very cute book and nice change from a rhyme story
Big bedtime vibes but it is quite lengthy, would not have gone down well a couple months ago as R wouldn’t have had the patience to lie there for the whole time
Once more, with the new Goodreads rules, I can no longuer upçoad the exquisite image of the cover page. For years, I was "librarian" and alaways managed to make a proper upload of a new book. I must have put hundreds of books in Goodreads, through the years. It pains me not to be able to share the exquisiteness of the book.
I read in France, Lovely, touching and oh so beautiful!
It's such a magical book. I especially love Xin's whimsical illustrations. The colors, the textures, the characters are so endearing. It's a tender, magical, lovely picture book!
