Romance isn’t for the weak. Good thing he’s tougher than he thinks he is…
Suzie has lived a full life. As a Hollywood make-up artist and best friend to a famous movie star, she’s been everywhere. The quiet extra she met on set years ago shouldn’t be on her mind every day and starring in her dreams every night. But he is. Maybe it’s time to take matters into her own hands and rope her reluctant hero’s heart once and for all...
Greyson is barely living. His stepmother and her sons stole his birthright, leaving him as little more than an employee on the ranch that should’ve been his. The only valuable thing he has left is his memory of Suzie. Not that she’d ever go for a broken-down cowboy like him…
When Greyson and Suzie meet again just in time for Christmas, will he grab their second chance at love? Or will his lack of confidence cost him the holiday happily ever after they both deserve?
Edith MacKenzie or Eddie Mac to her friends is an Australian author of sweet and wholesome contemporary cowboy romance. They say in literary circles to write what you know and Eddie has certainly taken that to heart. Before embarking on a writing career she trained horses professionally and brings that wealth of knowledge to her writing.
Now a mum to a boy and girl, as well as wife, she delights with her tales of strong cowgirls and rugged cowboys and their adventures in finding love. When not weaving the love stories of her characters, she enjoys hanging out with her family and animals, as well as reading, fishing and camping
Her Reluctant Christmas Cowboy Star ~The Christmas Star Collection #2 by Edith Mackenzie
I loved this book, it is very well written and draws the reader into the story from the very beginning. Edith is one of my go-to authors because I can always count on her books to go above and beyond. I'm always entertained and encouraged by her amazingly real characters facing real-life kinds of struggles. There's a depth to her books and I always feel hope when I finish the story. I loved this book and you will too! Highly recommend!
Suzie and Greyson met years ago and have never forgotten each other. When they see each other again both are determined to see if they can have a relationship. Sweet romance
I really loved Suzie from the first book in this series and was excited to read her story, but I am struggling with the whole scenario. I have trouble buying into her fantasizing for 10 years about a man who is portrayed as so incredibly shy and reserved. It's the 10 years that throws me. Maybe 6 months, maybe a year, but 10 years?
What a sweet Christmas story with wonderful characters and a heartfelt plot. It was great reading about little lulu again. So glad I found this on Kindle Unlimited. Happy reading!
